If you buy extra 10219 sets and sell all you don't need, it isnt even expensive to have extra containercars... Here a few pictures from yesterday with the 3 locomotives!! And the real thing: Here a link to a HD-video of my 4 meters long Maersk: Yesterday i had luck again..found another Emerald Night carriage on the internet.... and again for a really decent price!! So that is number 4...will receive it today... ! I know i'm not as creative as a lot of MOC-train builders, but i love to have trains like these......!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak

Tomorrow i will post a new video of the whole train. Here a rolling stock picture: Greetz, LegoSjaak

Thanks...but it wasn't THAT difficult at all... i just followed the buildinginstructions...haha... BTW, i added another Locomotive...so that is number three.. i have to motorize it first and then make new videos and pictures... It will be 3.90 meters long then! Running Maersk Greetz, LegoSjaak

Hi there, my Maersk 10219 train is now 3.60 meters long.. 2 engines with 10 cars + 20 containers Greetz, LegoSjaak

Thanks for the video! Well, about the ghost train....hmm..its a train, but thats all.. I'm not really into this fantasy stuff and Hero-thing, so i would never buy it. I can't imagine it is going to be a best seller.... Greetz, LegoSjaak

I see a lot of lovely detail and a lot of inspirational solutions! Thanks for sharing, and i hope we can see pictures of it in real Lego soon! Greetz, LegoSjaak

Really nice work, and i do not say that because you're from the Netherlands !! Greetz, LegoSjaak

It is a really nice MOC, but there is one little thing i do not like... the chrome horn... For me chrome is just not lego-ish enough.. i know it is an original part..but... no.. For the rest it is a nice engine! Greetz, LegoSjaak

That is a nice one also... really a nice train... would love to ride with it once in real life!!!!!!!

I just uploaded a video on YouTube from my Maersktrain in my layout! Greetz, LegoSjaak

Tonight i powered the both engines with PF stuff! It easily pulls the 7 cars, so i might consider expanding the train with another 3 cars.... It ran easy on a circular track, made longer with 4 x 2 straights..... this is just enough to prevent the engines fromt touching the rear end of the train! I will put the train in my layout later and let it run around there and make a video! Greetz, LegoSjaak

I was pleased to see a hospital for 2012, but after having read this review i'd rather prevent my minifigs from getting ill, so i don't need a hospital in my layout.. The heli looks terrible and for the rest... it looks like a 5 year-old kid who did his best to create something.. The vehicle isn't that bad, but hey, we have already a beautifull ambulance in the first 2012 City-wave.... Disappointing set.... Greetz, LegoSjaak

I think that investing in Lego would be even more profitable if you split sets and sell them separately! In this way you can make a quicker profit. If you would keep a set for 5 to 10 years, you have to think of the interest you would have gotten if you would have put the money on the bank... If you split sets and sell them within a month with 10% profit, than the actual profit would be 120% a year... I would only do it if you like the sets.... not for earning money on it over 10 years... I collected old dutch silver coins from over Eur 500,- a piece....but if people stop collecting them the coming years... prices will go down... so nothing is sure, also for Legosets which seem to be populat within 10 to 20 years... Our children might have different interest in 2032.... Greetz, LegoSjaak

Recently there was one who offered containers and wagons for Eur 20,- each.....so a wagon with two containers would cost met Eur 60,- So the 25,- i paid seems to be a reasonable price... It also seems there are not many who offer the containers and wagons separate... The point is that wagons and containers are in various bags.... Normally there is one bag with one wagon.....but... this is somewhat more difficult. Also the parts of the truck are spread all over the number 2 bags. Greetz, LegoSjaak

I just want to show you some creativity in another way. This time i didn't MOC a train, but was creative wit buying and selling. I bought a total of 5 Lego 10219 Maersk-sets and sold 3 engines, 3 trucks, 3 lowboy-wagons and 1 white container. I ended up with 2 engines, 2 trucks and a total of 7 container-cars with 14 containers on them. The nice thing is that a containercar with 2 containers only cost me Eur 24,-. So that keeps it cheap... it pays out to be creative!! Greetz, LegoSjaak

This is beautifull...wish i could build thing like this....! Greetz, LegoSjaak

What is the problem?? There are so many companies that make toys for either boys or girls... Just buy the toy or not...it is in your own hands.. For the rest one should not make a problem of it.... put your energy in other problems which are way more important!!! Just let TLG produce what they want !!! Greetz, LegoSjaak

I'm sure it will be a very nice MOC, but if i were you, i would stick to the white windows..... In the green building, you put red windows, but i should change them into white... The original picture also has only white windows, and that creates a sort of unity... But, i like the whole idea!! Greetz, LegoSjaak

The first time a saw these pieces, i wasn't really enthusiastic... they were not very lego-ish like the nose of the 7897 ICE train...but now that i got some of the pieces....it is nice to make a bridge of it... I did the same thing a few months ago... Greetz, LegoSjaak
