My two third men (i have 2 Mearsk-train-sets) are along the track at the cargo centre... they are coupling and decoupling the cars... First i had them standing on the train, but as i ran around my train, one blue-helmed-minifig fell off the train at i very tricky point.... i can hardly reach that point, so that is why they are now standing along the track!! That is a nice addition to your modularstreet. I like modular mocs, because else you see always the same pictures of modular streets... a few building in different arrangements, but in fact always the same street... With a MOC like yours it looks different and better! Greetz, LegoSjaak

Hi Eliminator, you should just start with a layout.... keep changing and shuffeling untill it looks good to you... Decide to make a large, spacy layout or a busy compact city... For me it is a process of adding and changing thing in the layout... Sometimes it takes a little bit longer and somtimes everything fits in place and you'll make great progress!! Succes.... And maybe you'll get inspired by a full HD video of my own layout...it is a busy one.. 8 square meters.... Greetz, LegoSjaak

Kyphur, i love these ambitious plans!! I never made a layout this way... i always just started and after that i started expanding... Sometimes you have to rebuild something completely, but that is no big deal..it makes fun to build so... But i hope we get updates every few weeks from you, so we can see your layout growing!!! The skills of the MOCs nowadays is sometime ridiculously high.... It is a wonderful automobile!!

For me it is simple... i'm going for quality and will only buy Lego.....i'd rather have one decent Lego train then 3 crappy trains which fall apart during a ride or so. In life you can make a choice between high and low quality, whether it are cars, food or toys... Everyone should decide for themselves what to choose... So, for me it is only original Lego!!

To make this, you need an overview in your head of all parts available...! You're continuously upgrading yourself, i think!!! Minifig, i share your thoughts... my city is packed with vehicles, and in fact, doesn't need any new vehicles.. but... because TLG made such a beautifull new 2012 City-vehicle-wave...i have to put them in my city too... I have a copy of most vehicles...but most buildings i have only one ...that is why i would love to see some new buildings.. I know it is difficult to bring a new set that sells well, but i still hope TLG will bring us something new..maybe a cellphone-shop or a shop that sells TV's and audio-gear?? On the other hand..lets be glad with all those outstanding vehicle-sets.... !! I like the front of the restaurant most! The sign, the Chili and the brick wall, made of different colored plates! Some MOCs you remember, when you see them again in 2 years or so... well..this is an outstanding example of one of those MOCs!!! Well done !! Greetz, LegoSjaak

Asher, you're right..!! I had to take a close look, but indeed, there is a new brick. It is used for the 6 yellow lights on the bike-transporter.... I hadn't seen them, untill i saw your post.. ! It is a nice brick... will do nice work for a lot of vehicles! Thanks for your scharp eye !!
