  1. For those who want extra 7938 cars... this set is in the Netherlands available for only 75 euro's (Intertoys)....you can easily build 2 cars of the bricks in this set, and sell the PF-stuff... with that money you can order 2 transparant windows at Pick a Brick and some other parts and there you have 2 extra cars for only 35 or 40 euros !!!! It is só easy to do!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  2. Well, seems TLG has done a great job concerning new vehicles for 2012... i will buy at least 6 of those new sets...! Personally, the forest theme does not fit my city, but there will be a lot of people who are very glad with it... it looks really good!! Maybe we can expect a new set with a city-building/store??? Greetz and enjoy the beautifull pictures! (And don't forget to add those beauties to your wishlist.... ) LegoSjaak
  3. Hi Laka, someone else also mentioned this....and as i agree with him and you, i went to a local photographers-gear-shop. I was informed and after that i ordered a Velbon CX 586 tripod on the internet....With this tripod i can make fluent moves with the camera....also zooming will give a much better result. I hope i can now make longer, better and 'slower' videos so everyone can catch all details. I'm not as creative as many people who make the most beautifull MOC's....mainly i do some modding or i just add a few bricks or details just to personalize my vehicles and buildings. I add fenders at most of my trucks...lengthen the 7939 truck that comes with the cargotrain and made my own red version of the 7939 cargotrain. Some details will never been seen, because they are in the back of my layout... Trains will always be a perfect way to give life to a city. I only hope that i can create extra space for more track....... Greetz, LegoSjaak
  4. Thank you, i never had such a detailed compliment!! I'm really happy with that...! It is true that the city looks too busy, but, if you would see it in real, then you wouldn't say it. Fact is that the whole city is situated on 8 square meters of road and build-plates. If you look from above, it is less busy than how it looks on video's. Though i wish a had more space... but having no space is my 'biggest' problem.... I´m also proud to say that i have had already over 170,000 viewers on my youtube channel and video´s!!!!!!!!! The model of the videocamera is a JVC Everio GZ-HM445 with 40x optical zoom. The camera is only Eur 229,00. Greetz, LegoSjaak Marco, if you are interested in a red 7939 cargotrain, i can give you the Email of the dutch guy from Hilversum who delivered me all parts to build it.... Pleas contact me in that case!! Thanks for your comments, it is important to me to get them... it makes me trying harder to optimize my city! Greetz en groeten, LegoSjaak
  5. Last week i bought a new HD videocamera. I made a few new video's from my layout...and here is the result. I used about 50.000 bricks and about 300 minifigs are living in my city now! The layout is about 8 square meters and allows 12 RC/PF trains on the track. Greetz, LegoSjaak
  6. Looks great.... Christmas, here we come! I ordered the toy shop 10199 and the bakery 10216 after having read a review yesterday. Both brandnew sets(in box) were offered at a reasonable price of Eur 55,- for the Toy shop and 47,50 for the bakery, so the choice was made quick! Maybe the postoffice is my present for christmas.... Greetz, LegoSjaak
  7. Lovely review....now that i saw it, i have that christmas-felling already, and i feel the need of a winter-set as well.....!! maybe i will order one in december...my son would love it as well..although he is only 2 years old! Greetz, LegoSjaak

  9. Hi Dutch Guy (i'm Dutch as well...) I took a look at your brickshelf pictures. I must say i like that yellow building the most.. it looks nice and the proportions are really good!!! Hope to see more MOC's from you in the near future.....! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  10. Besides that it is a wonderfull idea to make a building likt that, it was constructed really nice!!! Congratulations with this succes!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  11. The car with the double red striping looks the best, in my opinion. The blue line should be darker blue.....so the color is more powerfull.. I'm curious to the endresult!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  12. Now thát is a piece of cheese on that table....! Nice work!
  13. I actually meant the stickers on the 'money-o-mat' The ANZ-deco is ofcourse necessary to give it its destination. The tiling is nice, and sometimes i also end up in tiling almost everything, but i think it should have some studs.... just to be sure that everyone sees it is indeed Lego! I like your look on buildings, and because of the fact that you also publish foto's of the real buildings, i see what it looks like in Australia. Greetz and never stop building! LegoSjaak (Netherlands)
  14. I think the building is nice, but pretty small for a bank. Maybe those ar usual sizes in australia, but over here banks are normallly a lot bigger. Although it is a nice build, you should really get those blue stickers off.... it's the use of Lego that makes or breaks a building! In general, i would like to see more studs and lego, and less stickers..... I like your enthusiasm! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  15. Well ZueriHB, i see you layed your hands on a few 3677 Red Cargotrains...I thought i was lucky to have 3 Green/White boxcars..but you have even more... Did you sell almost all engines, or are they just not in your layout?? The mainstation looks nice, but maybe a somewhat larger building would lokk better. But if you do so, then you come to the point...only track and trains..or also a City with station etcetera. If you decide to put extra buildings along your layout then you have another choice....should you add roadplates or buildingplates...or just put the track on your appartment-floor??? Anyway... i love to see your trains rushing through the appartment. Although i have about 12 trains now, only 2 can run at the same time...because else they will sure crash!! You keep up the status of Switzerland as a train-country!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  16. Nice truck....proportions also look pretty good to me!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  17. The idea is okay, but if i buy this, i will end up with numerous scales... it doesn't fir in my city..so...not for me.. First i thought it was a free gift for VIP-members......but it turned out that it is an expensive way to buy bricks to me... Greetz, LegoSjaak
  18. I really like it. Sometimes a set totally changes when the color is different. I changed the yellow 7939 in red and you made a wonderful choice to make a white 7938! Super! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  19. Hi All, here is another link with pictures of all new City sets in 2012: City 2012 (click on Lego City van 2012) I like at least 5 or 6 sets.... the large helicopter did not impress me, it looks like that forgot to produce blue domes for the front and in stead of them took black ones.... Greetz, LegoSjaak
  20. You did a great job, especially the stuff you put underneath.. Sometimes this location was forgotten bij designs... The 3677 red cargotrain engine, for example, has a really poor design between its trainwheels... I changed that myselves! Greets, LegoSjaak
  21. I have a 7938 passengertrain with a total of six cars in between the head and tailcar. Because of the length, the head and tailcar are motorized. It was easy to put PFlights in both head and tailcar. I made this long 7938 train out of 3 7938 sets and 2 extra passengercars. So maybe you could make the train longer and get it double motorized and put lights in the head and tailcar. Succes!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  22. You've done a great job....i would buy one if these were separate available!!! Nice detailing!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  23. Nice work, i sometimes like set even more when colors ar changed..!!! Mooi gedaan...ziet er goed uit!! Groeten, LegoSjaak
  24. Looks nice...about a year ago i also put two sets with their backs together....look at the picture on this link: Station 7997 Another view Greetz, LegoSjaak
  25. Hallo Vincent, leuk om je posts hier te zien. Heb je mijn stadje aleens gezien op YouTube? Ben nu 2 jaar bezig en heb al 8 vierkante meter drukke stad...;)
