Trading Collectable Minifigs Series 1, 2 and 3

To add to my list I have: 1 x S3 Sumo Wrestler 1 x S3 Snowboarder 1 x S3 Space Villain/Cyborg (only the second one I've gotten) all in their packets. -
South East Swap/Meet @ LEGO Bluewater
SilentMode replied to NovaStar's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
Folks, I'm definitely hoping to be at Bluewater on Sunday. I will be armed with a couple of large PAB cups and a promotional PAB box from last year. If anyone knows what they have on the wall, that would be cool. I have a few random things to offer and get rid of: numerous Technic pins, axles and things; a few Belville parts; some unused sticker sheets from new sets, even a Hogwarts Express train and carriage (the old one). I will probably end up bringing a whole box of parts I haven't put in my BrickLink shop yet - feel free to browse. I also have the two S3 mummies, S3 sumo wrestler and S3 pilot, maybe more to add later. I'm primarily after city minifigures and minifigure parts/accessories. I'll also take space-related minifigures/parts, and "interface" decorated bricks and tiles. -

I'd go for a small army of around 10 of each of them, except the werewolf and perhaps the monster. Don't bother asking for kimono girls or hazmat guys, you won't get any from me! -
The Mode is Silent for 3-5.

It looks like a bad reflection, due to the shape of the visor. -
I had bought a train station from 2010 in a Tesco Extra (the recently built one in Brent Park), which had been clearance discounted. I had also seen a PoP Ostrich Race on the shelves of John Lewis on Oxford Street (though I didn't buy it, I already had nine of them!) Sometimes it's worth checking the shelves, as you might find something.

Someone else's Lego collection off of Gumtree, mostly comprising of vintage parts mixed with MegaBloks... a purchase I've come to regret.
-
I have one of those. Don't tell anybody.

I have the following fresh off the store shelf: 2 x S3 Mummy 1 x S3 Sumo wrestler 1 x S3 Pilot Will trade for... minifig parts. I want heads (particularly basic ones), hairpieces, non-uniform torsos and undecorated hips/legs. -

If that's true, there'll be quite a few historical figures in that series. What kind of bird would the bird trainer have? -
Scored 7937 (some kind of train station with tracks) at a Tesco Extra just now, for GBP 24.48. All that's missing is a train to use it with!

I can't see a single Bionicle part in that mech. Purely awesome.

Simple but very effective design! Good use of liftarms for the tread.

From recent building exploits, here's some more parts I'd want to see: A 2x2 corner tile, like the brick and plate. A 2x3 tile with a single stud - think of the 2x2 tile with a stud, extended in one direction by one stud, but the stud on top would be in the same place. A 4x4 dish-like piece that can sit on top of a plate/brick without adding anything underneath.
-
All right, here's the latest incarnation of the building: A number of improvements were made: Much cleaner and less rushed design. It's easier to use a rounded corner than an angular one, so I've found. I've made the building four storeys high, with a slightly shorter roof - side by side with the Grand Emporium model the original was shorter. The added floor will be for the large President's office. I'm replacing the brick-built sign with a place for a logo decal. The icon is built into the wall, which rather handily shows up inside the building as well. More windows! I also borrowed the "blinds" effect from lightningtiger's recent shop creation. All the floors upwards of the ground floor are constructed with 6x12 plates and a rounded 6x6 plate, rather than an awkward mix of smaller plates like last time. My only worry: where will I get all those 6x12s? At the moment I haven't decorated the second and third floors, and I'm looking for things to put on the roof.
-
That's an awesome dinky little shop! I like the impression of "blinds" at the front (if that's what they are!).
-
That's a truly awesome MOC. I don't think I've ever seen those opening windows ever being used in an MOC before, but you've used the window frames very well. I also like what you did with the soil.

I barely remember that pony, I think I had one in my old collection... good find! Arriving in the mail today was a Playmobil boat motor to attach to the classic Cabin Cruiser (much respect to Childsplay Direct for a quick delivery), and two Bricklink orders. Due to an error on the sellers' part, I am halfway reunited with my yellow bicycle!
-
Perhaps it could be done with a double-sided head, making sure the hairpiece meets either end of the blindfold.

Official Eurobricks Straightshooters List

+1 for my man JSN. -
A magician's assistant would be awesome, especially a female one. If it was a blindfolded minifigure it would be interesting to see how they do it.

I'd also add to Klaus-Dieter's suggestions, a "leader" karate master in a black uniform. Or how about a karate kid with a white belt?

It's way too early for S5 speculating (and quite frankly, scaremongering). Let's just concern ourselves with the up and coming S4. -
For anyone who wants it, here's the LDD file for this MOC. [download]
