S4 spotted in John Lewis, Brent Cross. Along with S3, they only have one box out at a time. I've just picked up an opened box of 52. Unfortunately, they don't yet have the newer Ninjago sets available on the Lego S@H site.

Something like an online "create a minifigure" would be a great idea, particularly for giving as gifts: with a limited selection of faces in different colours, a few select hairpieces etc.

Apparently we're not supposed to fool anyone after midday, so I ain't impressed one bit.

Somewhere very hot and fiery awaits if this is simply a dragged-out April fool's joke! and it's not a tropical resort! Having said that, if it's a genuine offer then I'll consider whatever's left, if anything.

Apart from the flask, there's nothing really remarkable about the scientist - I would agree that the hype has to do with there being only two of them in a box, and it would apply to any of the figures. Where there's hype there's usually hoarding/selling motives, rather than collecting or army-building. Yeah, I said it.

I got them for 1.90-something each from Tesco. I hope it's not true that the price has been jacked up!

To me it looks like a stud connector at the bottom, for putting case onto a plate, and a stud on top. We shall see.

It is kinda surreal to have a full set of S4, when they're not even out in Lego stores yet. It feels fulfilling yet strange. Anyway, it's great to see distribution figures from another box, which confirms they're being placed at random but with the same distribution of figures. Like Zeya mentioned earlier it's almost possible to get a complete set by taking the top or bottom halves. I guess the next question is: will the stats change after the official release date?

A little more interested in the cave girl and the zookeeper, but otherwise my opinions haven't changed.

All of them were very impressive once I got hold of them, but the figure skater and artist stood out as being better than in the pictures. The artist and skateboarder are my all-time favourites.

It looks like S1 is the only series with figures that don't have a hairpiece of some kind - just some random off-topic trivia to make myself look knowledgeable. Anyway, having picked up S4 already I can honestly say I was more excited about it than S5 - although I still want the lizard guy and the graduate. Maybe that will change.

Congratulations to all the winners, and again to everybody who took part. There were some great entries that I'd missed when voting.

I suppose you could mount the skates on the backs of their legs, one above the other. This would be a bit difficult with the figure skater though.

I was aware of the stats (and was hoping there would be more Mad Scientists, just as the S3 Fisherman's stats had changed), but I don't think there was anything about distribution.
