So I wasn't sure if this was the place to post this... Or if we're supposed to go through the academy or something... But my friend's sister finally finished editing our video. Check it out :D (Mods, please PM me to let me know whether or not this is the right place.)

Daaaaang that helmet :3 I guess I'll get that set after all, though I don't know If I really wanna build Human Torch without the rest of his team... Maybe Ghostrider will have to make an appearance among my Hero 'figs.

I think we'd get a set with both Arrow and Flash if we get anything from the CW shows. Which I really hope we do.

The best reason I've seen for not making Deadpool is the printing issue. Which would be easily rectified with a helmet like Flash's. And would preferably look like the one from Arrow, especially after having seen last night's episode. As Sam892 said, he's a Bats villain technically, so I'd be fine if they had Batman, but if they make Deadpool they better put Green Arrow in the same set. With a motorbike. I mean they always have to put vehicles in, right? Arrow could have his motorbike and Slade could have like an armored truck with a Mirakuru henchman or something (Just to get another mask :3 ) And Bats could have another Batmobile or a Bat-bike depending on the size of the set.

SoNE Contest Episode IV: Secrets of the Empire
JaseTJ replied to Nom Carver's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
I shall recruit a friend of mine for the Empire, as I'll be spending the summer with him anyways (and thus using his Legos for any builds). The Empire shall strike back! -
My thoughts exactly. And if they didn't wanna make it a bigfig, there's also the possibility of brick-built. As for Vision, I thought he'd been pretty well confirmed a long while ago?

Wait, nine...? *In head* Cap, Tony, Bruce, Thor, Hawk, Widow, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver... *Counts* You're including Vision, then? I'd guess maybe: Largest set -Anywhere from $70-$100 -Ultron -Ultron-bot/clone (x2?) -(Idk what they are, but the things in that Quicksilver concept art) -Vision -Cap or Iron Man -Thor or Hulk -Black Widow (With a better face, please) (Essentially any three heroes and Vision -main battle?) Mediumish set -$50 -Ultron -Hawkeye -Scarlet Witch -Quicksilver -Civilian? (Basing this off of that first bit of filming we saw) Medium-Small set -$20 -Ultron -Vision -Tony Stark -Bruce Banner (Ulrton/Vision's creation! Idk the story very well, but a Bruce Banner 'fig would be epic and he's science-y ) Small set -$10 -Ultron-bot -Thor -Cap or Iron Man (Whichever's not in the biggest set) Also another set, I have no clue what kind of size but there is only one necessity: -Hulk -Hulkbuster suit So yeah, obviously I have no clue what the plot will be, and who'll be in what scenes, etc, but my point is basically that I think it's reasonable to expect a double 'fig or two- At least a double of a character, even if they're not the same. I'm guessing they'll go with at least five sets for this one, considering the amount of hype that will obviously be going on and the massive success of the first movie.

I don't care what the comic story line is, if you guys could avoid movie spoilers that would be great. I'm trying to convince myself the movie isn't going to go that route. Also, if you're wondering why Lego skipped ASM2, it miiiight have something to do with the fact that they don't have the license... Not saying I wouldn't love those sets as much as any of you, but it's just not gunna happen at this point

Nice build! I like the way the brown rock kindof juts through the walls, and I like the busted wall in the back that they're escaping through. But what face is that on the kneeling Rebel in the front...? It looks really useful and quite familiar, but I can't seem to place it...

Agents of SHIELD has- apparently- gotten unbelievably better since Winter Soldier. Unfortunately I can't see that for another few weeks, so until then I'll not know for sure myself :P If any of you are worried about not having superheroes in it, what about Deathlok? -That's not to say he's a hero, but he is super. :P

I didn't include it because the hall is so thin and it's a poor picture, but- -Yes. As for maintaining the equipment, I kindof thought the same myself, but I was already taking the pictures and didn't really have time to bother with adding a console. I almost added a picture of the guy climbing the tower, though :P Concerning the rest: I used all of my trans orange cheesers, and most of my small brown bricks/plates/slopes. Otherwise I would have considered locking the lava in with more cheese slopes, or at the least changing up the brown a bit more. Thanks for all of the compliments, though! EDIT: I dunno if you can see in this last picture, but I actually have the ladder in a small room comprised of 4 of those angled tower pieces... And I just now noticed I missed a cheese slope that fell in there :P -But yeah, I build the whole base, then the roof, then the rock wall, and finished by detailing the inside (which as you said was a bit bare even in the end) and putting the rest of the brown and orange on top.

Unfortunately I didn't have the foresight to build it on a smaller baseplate- I don't know that it would have fit anyways- and I don't have enough grey bricks to do a SNOT floor or tile it.

[SoNE Ep. IV] Sector C: High stakes on Sullust
JaseTJ replied to LegoFjotten's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
I see what you did there... Can you guys just judge him on the Communications part and not the cell block? Not that you don't have the best build in the sector even then... ...Wait, an armory too? Ugh... -
Pick-a-Brick cup ;)

I don't own or build much Star Wars. My main Lego theme is Superheroes :P

The Empire's communications center on Sullust, located conveniently just beneath a lava field. Fun for maintenance. Gunna check on the arrays, bringin' the good 'ol astromech. (Just don't ask how he got up the ladder). Back to watching the equipment... Open the hatch! "What's going on?" "We're here to guard the Comms Center. Keep working; we'll protect you." And some detail shots: Wall greebles! A cable runs from the controls to the server room on the other side of the wall, where data is sent to the arrays above and throughout the rest of the station. As for the piping, it's probably water... Or sewage... He tries not to think about it. An overview of the cut-away roof. And lastly, a better look at the antennae/satellite dish arrays.

What Marvel/DC Characters Will NEVER Get Minifigures?
JaseTJ replied to Suspsy's topic in LEGO Licensed
That's what I thought too, but evidently it was the New 52 version. Very similar in that his beard is stubbly and he has the hood, but with a tiny bit more of a super-suit (brighter greens). -

For those of you concerned about violent/inappropriate characters being made: Deadpool. -
I'd just like to point out that, for example, with paint, there are many different shades of black. Each one is generally tinted slightly more one color than the others (because with subtractive color you mix an even amount of the primary colors to get black). This is the same idea. I'd say Drax is grey, but yes it is a slightly green shade of grey.

That grapnel gun :3 Very nicely done all around.

So would a facade of the front be considered enough for the outside, if we wanted to focus on the interior? I may or may not do that, but I feel it'd be easier due to lack of pieces.
