I quite frankly highly doubt we'll get a Beast at this point, regardless of whether or not he made the Blackbird. I just don't think that's something Lego would take into consideration. Most likely if we do get another baddy, it'll be Mystique, or maybe Juggernaut.

I recently realized that DC doesn't have it's rights spread nearly as much as Marvel; thus the Bane Tumbler set and the Arrow version of Green Arrow for that SDCC Exclusive... That, the above post about Deathstroke, and the fact that after last night's episode of Arrow I was going to try making a Slade Wilson 'fig gives me an idea. I have no clue how plausible it is, given the darker nature of the show, but would anybody else like to see an Arrow set? They could give us Arrow himself, Malcom Merlin, Detective (Officer) Lance, and maybe Deathstroke and/or Deadshot. Also, how likely might they be to put Arrow and Flash from Arrow into the Justice League movie since that seems to be happening? I'm very much so considering making a Cuusoo project now :P

The problem with the Fantastic Four is that Johnny, Sue, and Reed would all need both a normal version and a "powered up" version...

What DC/Marvel Hero/Villain Do You Most Want To See Made In LEGO?
JaseTJ replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yes... I wish so badly they'd do Super-Hero collectables... They could even do Marvel and DC at the same time, whether 16 of each or only like the Team GB 8. Here are mine: Marvel: Black Panther Antman Wasp Quicksilver Doctor Strange Vision Nightcrawler Bobby Frost (Blanking on his super name) Pyro Lizard Sandman Hobgoblin Kraven Mysterio Vulture Rhino DC: Hawkman Hawkgirl GingerGreen Lantern Black Green Lantern Powergirl Black Canary Cyclops Kidflash Black Manta Deadshot Deathstroke Clayface Ra's Grod Hugo Strange Tzaz Yes, I have 8 heroes and 8 villains in each. I left out the obvious Green Lantern, Green Arrow and Martian Manhunter, simply because if this happened, they better be in a set already. Not that I'd mind a Antman/Wasp set, but I dont' see it being as likely. Also, I'm guessing they'll wait on Fantastic Four to capitalize on the new movie, which is coming 2015, right? -
Can we get some sort of "Green Hero" set? Green Arrow, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter ('Cause he's green. Haha. Heh.) And they could fight Deadshot and Deathstroke just 'cause they're cool villains and I want them and I have little knowledge of the DC rogues gallery beyond the Arkham games and Arrow show. Marvel's doing great, though, with the new line. Red Skull, Power Man, Electro, Taskmaster, Falcon, Hulk with purple pants :D

I feel the need to ask... You specified we couldn't trade minifigs within the sets- could we trade whole prize sets? I mean, yeah, free Lego is free Lego :P ...But some of it is better than other...

Wait-whaaa? The third Iron Man suit there... Is it just me or is it black? Seems a whole lot darker than Warmachine.

I'm all for the 16x16 limit. I don't have the time with college, let alone the pieces or budget for pieces to build a decent 32x32 entry. Plus it takes away any advantage of those that did plan ahead- not that I have a problem with any of you having done so. That said, I do plan to enter. I've got an idea or two, but we'll see what I aim for.
-
I'm assuming this won't break the one-image rule as it's saved as one image and should be small enough.
-
Guys. I got the 'grey platform' thing already, I'll do it when I get back home, k? :P
-
Also, I really wasn't sure how to make the clouds, I just knew I wanted them... Any tips for how to make them look better would be welcome.
-
Hah. I was originally going to make the platforms grey, but switched when I realized I had those pieces, 'cause I was picturing Cloud City as more white. Maybe I've just got Kamino stuck in my head. Thanks for the tips, and while I don't have an orange baseplate, I'll probably ditch the blue one now :P

Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Introduction and Discussion

Here's my character avatar, if you want to edit that in? -
[static] "My squad and I are pinned down while our techie finishes hacking the AA gun. Requesting backup ASAP!" [static] "I've been a bit distracted all day, Sarge's gotten on me a few times now." (I'm hoping this can count as my 'edited' picture? If I need to change it just let me know.) The squad provides cover fire as the tech gains control of the anti-aircraft gun to shoot down any Rebel ships trying to escape. The squad from behind.

Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Introduction and Discussion

I'mma join the Empire as a Stormtrooper, if I may. Go ahead and use the stock photo for now, but I might come up with a picture instead. Would it be too disgraceful to have a clone helmet? I'm not positive I have a normal stormy one... I can always use the biker helmet, I guess. -
As a huge fan of those games, I love it! The amount of details... just... wow. I especially love the light fixtures and the guy hanging from the beam.

Thanks to both of you! @TheLegoDr: There are a few things I prefer about the peach 'figs from the sets, but Legos are supposed to be yellow right? :P Also, I'd feel a bit bad about only building three letters on the sign, but that's actually all that's left at that point in the fight :P
-
I'm hoping that this is okay since none of these are straight from Lego (Sorry, don't exactly love the peach skinned 'figs), but I liked the shot and it's technically a licensed theme... Also Though I do wish Hawkeye had been turned in a bit more..
-
Thanks! I dunno how well you can see it, but the top row is still mostly 4-wide. The bike can fit, but it has to be tilted slightly to get the mirrors past the thinner part. Well you did say 'I don't like the figs one bit', with absolutely no explanation. I don't think it would have taken too much time to add the extra 'because they're yellow', which would have been much more understandable. My friend kept trying to get me to make them peach instead 'cause there are a couple of faces that work better that way. Personally, I just prefer yellow 'figs for the most part, and some faces (Black Widow's especially, to a point Thor, and maybe Hill) are much better in yellow. Seeing as that's a matter of opinion, and not a judgement so much on how I made the minifigs, it would be great if you could take the extra few seconds to add those three words next time to avoid sounding harsh. Really, I don't mind, I've learned not to care too much what the internet says negatively (because someone out there will always find something bad to say). Thanks overall though, guys! EDIT: Also, I just added a background to Loki's side of the 'I need an eye' scene, 'cause apparently I'm OCD and couldn't stand it.

As the title would suggest... Avengers! Here are my custom (purist) versions of Earth's Mightiest Heroes! But wait, there's more! Avengers, disassemble! Here's a shot of the group in their downtime. Still... something's missing... Nick Fury? Agents Hill and Coulson? SHIELD? That exhausts the minifigs for now, so on to the titular MOD, the Quinjet. First, I added a chin-gun. It's connected in two places, simply because the connection style swiveled too easily and wouldn't stay in place. Still looks good, though, in my opinion. Secondly, I nudged the wing-hinge so that it's centered, 'cause it looks better, and added little rocket-y pieces to the flick-fires so they didn't look as out of place. Wait, didn't the original set have a hatch there? Oh, right, bigger and better. Plus a cleaned-out interior! And lastly, another view of the inside- I should probably add benches. The Quinjet with my custom Chitauri Chariot (I have two, identical, built mostly from pieces from the Avengers sets.) Didn't take a picture specifically of the Chariot, but this one has a decent overview. Mostly just wanted to try that shot of Nat flying the chariot. And a close-up of Loki riding his chariot. Wielding his staff. (No, the idea wasn't originally mine- I'm not sure who's I saw, but I liked it enough to cut up one of the several staffs I got :P) And now I'd like to close with a couple of little scenes I made from the movie: "I need an eye." And: But not only did I make Thor and Loki fighting... Ta-da! That's really it for now. I plan on making at least one fairly detailed scene at some point, seeing as neither of these took very long to build, but my pieces are unfortunately invested in other projects currently. Comments and criticism are definitely welcome. I do realize not all of my 'figs are very close to the movie, but I'm happy with them as representations of the characters themselves.

I just saw this yesterday, and I was thinking about how much it looked like a legit set just 'cause of the way it's built. The guy says it's a MOC, though, now that I look, and it's too small for the $250 pricetag (even though it will likely come with a fair amount of non-village stuff). Gave me a bit of a scare, though, when I saw the news about the new set.. :P

The victorious Football Player is dumping water on his coach, a classic celebration for football players. In the second level of the vignette, you can see a trainer giving a player a shot of painkiller because, as you may or may not be able to tell, he has a broken rib (X-ray behind the trainer). Lastly, deep within the stadium, a worker is picking up the dirty laundry and dropping off the clean. Ew! -
Excuse this post, but I'm not sure how the time on your post relates to my time.

Last night I mentioned to my mom before going down to my room that I was hoping I might get a package the next day. Half an hour or so later, she came downstairs and knocked on my door. She said that nobody had gotten the mail yet, and tossed me a package :D I wasn't expecting the light-sabers, either, so I'm super-excited! Thanks!
