  1. Many thank for the hint! So 200 parts exactly, I have edited my post accordingly.
  2. Thanks for your comment! The hose was cut into 7 pieces, and if every piece of hose dose count, the total number of parts would be exactly 200. However, I thought the definition of lego part refered to BL, which means a 30cm pneumatic hose is a single part but has nothing to do with how you cut it.
  3. Release Ver 3.1 with part list is available: the upper structure is totally re-designed to fullfil the parts limit, currently 200 parts in total, turntable also as 2 parts and 7 tubes are counted as 7 parts.
  4. The best-looking lego hummer model with so many functions. PS: the wiper is really an innovative design, and the model must be large enough to hold it.
  5. So Cool! Technic bricks played in a special way.
  6. Ok, I promise that the colour of the seat will be modified. BTW, excavator is really a very very traditional topic for official technic set.
  7. A perfect representation of mini technic spirit, perhaps the best entry I have seen by now.
  8. Very impressive Tank plus the most accurate shooting.
  9. So many thanks for all your comments and feedbacks! I have some ideas for further modification to reduce size (height) and colour of seat. Of course I shall then count the parts later on when the model is finally done.
  10. A really nice entry! Looks like an official set, maybe mini version of 8264 hauler?
  11. Thanks for your comment! I think it is the advantage of pneumatic system itself, look forward seeing more pneumatic MOCs in the contest.
  12. Hello Everyone, Here is my entry for the very interesting mini build contest: a pneumatic wheel log grab excavator. It is the first time that I have chance enjoying the building of mini MOC instead of all PF/RC MOCs with 94.8 x 44 R tyres. By estimation the number of parts in the MOC shouldn't have exceeded 200, but I will take it apart later on for sure to get precise data, and see whether I still have room for some decoration or must cut something off. Function for this mini MOC is quite reliable: All wheel steering in the chassis, and steering is done in a HoG way, just like any technic official set; Pneumatic controlled lift arms, air valve is put in the driving carbin to make it look more realistic; Wood grab (if it is also one function). Release Ver. 1.0 Release Ver. 2.0 Modifications: Chassis totally re-designed; Lift arm modified; Seat colour changed. Release Ver. 2.2 Modifications: further efforts on parts and size reduction in engine bay. The number of parts should be under 200 now.
  13. Fantastic appearance, and the bodywork steering gear auto connection is quite innovative. Truly master piece.
  14. As far as I know, german half-track vehicles in WW2 normally don't have front wheel drive-shaft, maybe only schwere Wehrmacht Schlepper (sWS) is an exception. On the other hand, american half-track vehicle in WW2 normally have front wheel drive-shaft. But ok, who cares... Once upon a time I built a half-track Panzerwerfer Sd.Kfz.4/1 with front wheel drive-shaft but no center differential, the combinition of 81.6 x 38 R tyre and 40.4 tread sprocket wheel provides a smooth driving for whole drivetrain. Depends on steering angle, differentail or differential lock (1:3 or 3:1) are applied for track steering. Hopefully it can give you some inspiration in building your famo.
  15. Hi, That's a nice try! BTW, here is a 6X6 truck which I have made with three offset axles. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=89986&hl=
  16. Practical chassis and cute appearance. Finally 9398 finds his lost cousin.
  17. Neat shape Hopefully Lego TLG would also consider a motorcycle set with PF.
  18. Great appearance and good function. The Chinese MOCer should put this on Cuusoo and I think many people would support it.
  19. Forget about the fake stuff. It is very very probably being hanged instead of flying.
  20. Looks interesting! Maybe you can provide the original link from the chinese forum and I might get more information?
  21. This MOC is just published on lego cuusoo, please feel free to support it. Thanks in advance!
  22. Thanks for your comments! I'm glad you like the drive shaft. Thanks for your suggestion! The bending of the current implementation is unnoticeable. Actually I started with the implementation you mentioned but the problem is simply worse. Maybe a complete solution is to give the joint a second DOF. Many thanks for your comments!
  23. Thanks for the encouragement, I'm looking forward seeing this. Thanks for your comments!
  24. Very funny idea! Maybe you can realize a mindstorms (nxt or ev3) version with light sensors which plays music.
