  6. Thanks for the comments! No, I didn't submit this for Lego Technic Challange as weapon is never a favorite topic for TLG. Bionicle is good target, but I don't have a single one currently.
  7. NXT controlled robot tank which automatically searches for targets and attacks, while evades large obstacles. It can be manually switched between normal mode and night mode. Main components include: one NXT brick, three servo motors, one ultrasonic sensor, one light sensor and one touch sensor. All loading wheels have individual suspension. Two propulsion motors are located in front part and driving power is being transmitted to rear tracks via two Technic Universal Joint 3L. The front and rear parts are linked in a flexible and stable way. Programming platform is NXT-G still.

  11. Thanks for your comment! If the light source on ground is placed at proper height it should be detected and followed. The program includes three parallel threads: the first for light sensor rotation, the second for reading the grey value while light sensor rotates clockwise and store the max value, the third for taking the angle of max grey value and turning vehicle direction accordingly, then ultrasonic sensor will check whether the path is clear, if yes, vehicle goes in this direction for certain distance, if not, vehicle evades obstacle. All three threads are endless loops. Thanks for your comment! I just explained the work flow in previous reply, and it is implemented in NXT-G.

  16. This is a very realistic MOC, especially the bridge and the link between bridge and vehicle. The topic is also funny and challenging. I hope it will appear in the list of Technic Challenge in May so that I can vote for it.

  18. The CAV joint is realized mainly by two lego elements: technic Steering Arm with 4 Ball Joints and technic Steering CV Joint. Thanks for your comments!   20. Yes, according to my point of view, it works pretty well. Different resistance will result in different speed and torque.

Actually I always doubt whether it's really good to decorate a technic MOC with too many system bricks. Some of them look really brilliant, but in my mind they lose some sense of technic. The trigger of fire action is a "Gear & Gear rack" structure, I hope the following images will answer your question: As gears rotate, the gear rack will be pushed to move horizontally. The prominent part of gear rack structure will push the triggers one by one.

The image you provided is absolutely correct, but the introduction on sinodefence is talking about some other MRL, it is sometimes confusing. I didn't find the specification of Type63 19X130mm MRLS on web either, but did find an interesting video of it. Thanks, now I know how to insert the video. Thanks for your comment, I used six differential gears in the MOC, four of them are for construction of automatic gear boxes, the idea was from TechnicBRICKS (http://technicbricks.blogspot.com/2009/11/week-techvideo-2009-48-automatic.html), it is worth trying.
