  1. Really awesome job! I love seeing fright knight mocs. Even though the builds were odd, Ioved this theme as a kid.
  2. I can't remember which bag, but it was 1x2 Trans red tile piece.
  3. Finished building barad dur. It was alot more interesting build than I thought it would be. No paper bag. It was plastic. Missing one piece. I didn't realize how heavy this set is. Sauron minifig is great!
  4. Picked it up and the gwp today. Huge line at my local lego store. They were stocked with 70 barad dur, so wasn't worried about not getting one. Saw alot of people leaving store with the big box, but also alot of people in line for the new HP and Disney sets.
  5. Wow looks great Wished sauron had the long legs New orc designs look so good. Especially the new shield and helmet. Set itself looks great.
  6. Quick picture of my viking army, before I change them up.
  7. I hope so. As much as I appreciate the recent castle related sets, spending 200$ plus on a set is burdensome. I'd like to get a proper wave with solid 20$ sets.
  8. Just finished this build. Looks great and a fun build. I noticed the envelope has a dragon stamp?? Is lego hinting at something?
  9. Haha, that's great. Growing up there was always that rich kid in the neighborhood that we all went over to his house to play with his toys. A few years back,I took my kids to the lego store. The set on display was the carousel (a $200 or so set) It immediately caught my kids' eye. I still remember the lego store employee talking the set up to my kids, in the hopes that I'd buy it. Just looked at the employee and told him not going to happen.
  10. Picked this set up off Amazon for 30$ it's not bad to be honest. It was a fun build.
  11. My feeling too. No longer is it opening with the thinking "I hope I didn't just waste $5.00"
  12. His arms are very tight. Feels like the torso is going to Crack if I adjust them.
  13. Lego is going to send me a replacement part. Really awesome on Lego's part. They truly have some of the best customer service. Just need to continue to be extra careful with my Radagast minifig as they don't have those in stocks anymore.
  14. Receive an email from Lego this morning. They told me they haven't produced in over a decade, and told me to go to brinklink 😒 I understand the part isn't made anymore, but for how much lego costs, the piece should break easily. Would it be wrong for me to use superglue on the horse to fix it?
  15. Thank you. I sent an email. Hopefully they can send same or similar horse. My kid was adjusting the legs and it just snapped in half. I am aware of the brownish color piece been very brittle around this time. I've lost alot of orcs and PoP figures because of this issue.
  16. I apologize for posting in this thread, but it is Lotr. My brown horse from 9471 uruk army set snapped in half. Is Lego pretty responsive at replacing parts?
  17. As much as I would love to get a set that depict gondor, I always thought a civilian set, like bree or the green dragon inn would be better represented in Lego
  18. Hopefully they learned from last time, and will produce more copies this time.
  19. I still find it frustrating that pieces break on the older lotr and hobbit sets.
  20. We will likely see official pictures in February then?
  21. Nice. Did you randomly pick or use a method to get the ones you wanted
