In my experience lego is good about replacement. It takes awhile for the new piece to be shipped. However, if the piece or set is retired lego can't replace it. Sadly a number of my PoP mini figs arms broke, and lego couldn't replace.

That's the reason why I didn't want to purchase it online. I assumed it would take weeks to arrive. On the US site, the set is backorder with estimated delivery on March 23.

In the book it's only gimli and gloin that travel to rivendell.

Looks great. Like how each warrior has own unique look. So true about the old orc torsos and arms breaking 😔. One of the concerns I have with the new rivendell set. Alot of brown of bricks. Every time I place I say a little prayer "hopefully this piece doesn't break within a year."

Just picked it up. Never seen a longer line than today at the lego store

I hope they don't run out for me either. I'm thinking they won't given the price point.

Makes me optimistic there are more sets in the future.

Really hoping they would include the re forged blade

I noticed that too. Hopefully the complete sword is hidden somewhere.

Amazing build! You did a great job capturing this amazing castle. I have been to Krak numerous times. The castle overlooks the village my family is from in syria. -

Tolkien doesn't mention Balrogs in the second age. So I'm guessing showrunmers are using their artistic liberties there. In the third age, it is the dwarves that were too greedy, and dug too deep, thus awaken the Balrog in moria.

I'm sorry I wish I knew. My radagast is getting very stiff, along with my robed Elrond. What usually breaks for me on other figs is the arms, which thankful I can easily replace

💯 agree -
I was hoping we would get pictures soon. Oh well, I'm sure the wait will be worth it. On a another note, looks like my radagast's arms are about to break. The are so tight when I move them. 😫

I remember reading somewhere that the $500 (Rivendell) set will be released in spring. If true, when can we expect images to start showing up?
