  1. dito. have anyone an idea if people, with multiple entrys in the top hundred, get a set per entry?
  2. interesting chassis. does it perform better than the first one?
  3. thanks guys, but i will make instructions only when it works properly with head and on carpet. currently it works and turns well, but without the head and body it is useless
  4. the easy thing is done, it walks in circles, the hard thing will be to balance it out with the head and hull
  5. perfect answer. i want see if it is working better with newer parts and new ideas
  6. my inspiration in cranebuilding does currently dont want working, so i need something little in between to get the head free. so i have a little quiz for you a small hint: i have tried it some time ago and i have failed
  7. looks like a real masterpiece! which drivetrain setup do you use? two XL? does the vid has some speedups or is it this fast?
  8. new rims please, maybe with an crosshole in the center
  9. a little update with the rear outriggers
  10. yes and no. when it is clean the friction is very low, with sand in it it is hard to turn
  11. i simply need the space for the drivetrain of the outriggers and other undercarriage functions edit: a few minutes ago, i made the final hosing for the pneumatic cylinders, i saw something what i dont like. a broken universal joint
  12. yes its a belly, but not from beer p.s. the steering links are fixed
  13. yesterday i had made a little torture for the drivetrain. the conclusion was to to make a stronger frame, even for tests like these . and the steering links has to prevent before popping out. but i think the drivetrain is stable enough. since this test i had made a little progress. the servos for steering are skipped because the high steering angles are not good possible with a servo. and the tire winch is skipped to a manual one
  14. at the rear axles it will be an damper/pneumatic hybrid. the dampers will hold the m,ost load and the pneumatic cylinders will do the load balancing between the wheels
  15. oh it is not mine, i am driving a lupo btw small car i think the flexibility is enough
  16. yes it is thin rope from the lego sets. unfortunately it is neccesary to tighten the knots from time to time. btw, a short test with an "bollerwagen" roundabout 20 till 30 kg weights the flatbed with load
  17. simple answer: my wallet is currently more than empty
  18. indeed, i need the square bottom for the mcpherson suspension. and for this, purists may excuse me, i have raped a big pump and modified it to a pneumatic cylinder with one inlet. please note that this is only a provisoric mount for testing the steering
  19. well, because double wishbones are not really solid on steered axles, so it seems i have to copy the tatra front axles
  20. 100 percent correct during the search for a steered independent suspension, i have built a mcpherson version. u8nfortunately i have only 3 old style pneumatic zylinders so i could not build two front axles. but i want to show you one of the suspensions
  21. or you use an servo and a power function switch to power the XL
  22. 15 studs will be big and if i have 15 studs in height...... anyway, for the outriggerdrivetrain i neead more space in the frame so i try somethin which is not originally to the M.A.N independent suspension. i hope it will give me more space in the frame and easier adding more shock absorbers if the final weight is too high for one shock absorber. i hope it will work under high load
