  1. Some more pics of my parts bags https://m.imgur.com/a/u7TDDj3 https://m.imgur.com/a/Txz9BRD
  2. It's only 24 parts out of 2,700+ The reason you would use genuine Lego is obvious, tolerances and how parts go together. The panels are a different story, I am confident we will see future sets using White panels. But this isn't a clone, this is a custom colour matched build, inside and out. I am using rare and expensive parts to pull off a certain look and polished finish.
  3. 24 parts don't exist in White, namely panels. #6538c do not exist in White, but #6538b does. I have a plan, purists might balk, but hopefully the panels in question will appear in future sets and can be swapped out then. For now I will have to improvise.
  4. I got another package today, I now have 17 of Part #64179 in the new Black colour. Also got more of #18654 in Black and White. So my plan for 42056 is, where possible - replace LBG parts with Black. Use Black pins and overall keep the inside frame Black and the outside body all white. Use White bushes, Black axles... I do have some Technic axles in White, once I build I will decide as I go along. I plan to ducument my build with pics, will create a new topic as and when ?
  5. I got some other parts in Red, and all my Black axles have been cleaned ? https://m.imgur.com/a/l3fSf7Q
  6. Can anyone recommend printed tiles for instrument displays in vehicles?
  7. I just went through sorting my pins. They need to be cleaned, but I had to sort friction from non friction. I have 54 Black friction and 6 non friction. I have 11 White friction and none of the White frictionless pins. 42056 uses a lot more then 54 pins, so I might have to choose wisely where i use them. I want the outer body frame to be all white, but since I lack the pins I will use black where needed. I had to use a magnifying glass to see the friction ridges on the pins. I have 26 Black bushes... Should be enough.
  8. It also has 4 of the 15L beams in Dark Blue, so the price should drop further.
  9. Never even seen a White 3L pin... Never seen one for sale. It was in some Japanese promo robot https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=1237-1
  10. Good stuff... I also got a big lot, brand new, of White Bush and half Bush parts. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think half bushes exist in Black ?
  11. I have a bag of 3Land 5L axles in Black... I can't find any 7L, sadly... Only appear in one set. The parts in the top pic are all second hand, the bag on the top left has #43093 and #3749. I am getting in White #32062.
  12. Check out the others parts I got, note the rare White colour on these parts. I have a bunch of Friction and non Friction pins in Black and White. https://imgur.com/a/LKvmBFf
  13. I bought some of the new parts in new colours--- https://imgur.com/a/cnlSeJO
  14. I have been buying in some rare White and Black friction and non friction pins https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=43093&colorID=1&in=A https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=3749&colorID=1&in=A I have had a plan to build a black and white version of 42056 for over a year, but was lacking the parts. With the new 5x7 in black and black bushes coming out again, I think it's more doable now to fulfil my custom colour build. I plan to get rid of the colour vomit in the Porsche, replace all LBG parts with black, where possible. I have sourced gears in black, use 3L axles un black etc. According to Bricklink most parts exist in black and white. But the parts I liked to above are hard to find, in the quantities needed...... I may have to improvise.
  15. Ooh crap!... You are right, I thought the rear spoiler on the Bugatti had a 5x11 panel, and they are crazy expensive on Bricklink ?
  16. Hmmm... FYI, there are other Technic parts such as a 1x5 lift arm in Dark Blue. There are more parts then people realise on Bricklink https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=P&catString=137
  17. Is there a vehicle in front of this thing that is missing?... Like front cab to drive this thing around? ?
  18. Excellent... Thank you. Bricklink has other Dark Blue Technic pieces, like a 1x5 lift arm. They appeared in old Bionicle sets.
  19. While the Metallic Silver parts still don't exist outside of the official 41999 set, the new 42083 Bugatti makes it possible to source and build the main body from Dark Blue parts. Those that missed out on 41999 at least now have the option to build it from parts if they wanted to.
  20. Someone needs to source a fibre optic tube to fit the rear light bar, it could light up. You could now make the entire car body dark blue or dark azure in colour. I think all the parts needed to do this now exist. If Sariel could publish the parts list this would help.
  21. Front end is too heavy, lego should have made the front springs extra hard, instead of hard.
  22. As I said, I bet someone will source something from the Internet to fit that spot, a non lego parts. Maybe a fibre optic part?... Maybe a way to light up the rear light bar ? Weren't they ribbed?
