Not to my knowledge, maybe Efferman could design you something and buy it through Shapeways?

OK...so i just clicked buy on that fake White 42056, and the ONLY parts i plan to keep are the Red rims and tyres, and these panel types....because you cant get them in genuine Lego in White, all other parts i now have in legit lego...and i plan to use White 6538b parts instead of the fake 6538c parts. I went through every parts in the inventory and i sorted out what exists in genuine lego and what the fake model had. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=42056-1 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=24118&idColor=4#T=C&C=4 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=18944&idColor=4#T=C&C=4 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=24119&idColor=4#T=C&C=4 I even got the Red shock absorbers as legit Lego parts, and if in the future the parts above are released as genuine parts by Lego oficially i will swap out the fake panels for legit ones, the tyres and wheel hubs....i want Red, they look amazing....and i dont care too much about the black tyres being fake, rubber is rubber imo. The only reason i am buying this set is to get the parts above, i will throw away the rest and use my legit parts....that way i will have a VERY close to legit White Porsche ;-)

mods?.....just got a login warning via Firefox 52 saying the site is unsecure....never seen this warning before, is there a certificate issue with the site etc?
-
8043....i would suggest building a White version....as the panels are much cheaper to get. I bought two for A and B, still sealed in box....i got them for €75 each off Ebay, some guy had a bunch he was selling via auction. I won one and he emailed me and offered me two more for cheap to get rid of them, but i only bought two. The B model is brilliant....might be even better then the main one...imo.

Can i just say....and advise others: DO NOT DO WHAT I DID!....i spent a FORTUNE on buying the unique Metallic Silver and Dark Blue parts from varoius Ebay vendors and sites like ToyPro.com I added it all up....it was madness!, you'd be better off buying a brand new set off Bricklink. I bought the parts brand new over a long period of time so it didn't feel like i spent alot...but i did, and it was stupid. 8880 is a really nice looking set, and big....big part count, i like building and having the 1000+ parts sets. It's got some unique elements and an awesome gearbox! I built my 8258 through buying parts, i got the manuals fairly cheap in an auction.
-
Dunno, the unique tyres are the big selling point for that set....it also increases the overall size of the set. I think i will hold out and see if one pops up on the cheap. Interesting, i recently bought the manual for this set second hand off Ebay for €1.50....and i have been slowly buying in the parts brand new where possible, most if not all the Red parts can be bought new cheaply. I may have to buy an actual set though to get the wheels and sterring elements. It's on my hit list....but i buy parts over a long period of time until i have everything. Just so people know what you are refrencing:https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=858-1 Not really my thing, i am not a huge fan of the old studded era sets, some of them i like...especially the ones with big parts counts such as 8880 etc.
-
(incl. the Lego racers sets that are really Technic sets)......right now i have my eye on 8880 and 8480, alot of the sets i thought i would never be able to get/own like 41999 i was in fact able to buy in the parts for so i can build them. I have my eye on 8466 but NO WAY am i paying the insane money being asked for four frickin' tyres!!....i don't care how big the damn things are, they ain't worth €20 a pop!

Does anyone have any Technic bushes in Blue or Orange?....any pics?, i have never seen them: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=3713&colorID=4&in=A

Where is the report button ? -
Cheers...though the colours are not really practicle for technic sets. I only see flex due to the weight of the vehicle.

I can think of an 8880 mod....since the set came with alternate parts/gears etc. in Black. That part has alot of uses for modding.

Yes. that education set has alot of very unique parts....and quite pricey. I was trying to do the math for that 8455 recolour: brand new parts the pneumatcs, switches and hoses would set you back €200. But i still think $660 NZ Dollars is double what it should be, in terms of buying the parts and doing it yourself. The Trans Yellow needs to go....either Trans Blue in Light,Medium,Dark would be better suited. I think the LBG colour actually really works well. I might have tried to use White axles on the back wheels.
-
Saw this on Ebay, despite the absurd asking price....the recolour looks superb. http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Unique-Lego-Creator-Technic-8455-Pneumatic-Backhoe-Loader-recreated-in-blue-2017-/182476146585?hash=item2a7c6d0799:g:7uAAAOSw32lYulNW I love the use of the Trans Dark Blue pnuematics and the swapping out of Yellow for Blue, and old Dark Gray for LBG....though i might have used DBG myself, seems logical to swap the old Dark Gray for the new DBG, but the choice above looks really good. Those TDB Pnematics parts could set you back €100 for 10 of them brand new. i still think its WAY overpriced though! Also....the Trans Yellow #3941.....i might have tried Trans Dark Blue myself.

42070 Replica by dokludi
Richard Dower replied to dokludi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Is it possible to make the boom extend out and use the same parts/design used in 42043?....like how the boom extends on 8285 etc.? Also....42070 **really** needs the metal hook! I actually like the idea of pendular suspension on the rear axels....but, i do think the front needs some soft shocks...the 6.5L type. Pendular in the rear wheels, same as 8273....the B model used a large turntable as an additional form of pendular suspension https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=74557#T=S&O={} I reckon this reverse engineer is pretty accurate, and as such the official model should be very MODable....able to add suspension and shocks and stuff. a dedicate servo motor etc. -
