  1. Is that everything....it looks like every gear in every colour available. But....do you also collect mold variations?....like x187 vs. 3648, and 3650 has like 3 revisions. I have been kinda collecting gears in different colours as well, i have a good few at this stage, both new and second hand....but far from a complete set as to what exists.
  2. That hook element great, how much does it cost?
  3. I just use a soft flex axle to pull those parts out. I still havent bought one of those differentials....or is that the technical term?
  4. Prices of the infamous Red #3 connector is starting to drop: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Lego-Technic-1-Verbinder-No-3-32016-rot-/222372352045
  5. Same.....good parts pack but i dont like the colour. If it was Medium or say Red...it would have been better. I am against these new colours being used as the reusability for MOCs is limited, as you somply don not have eneough Technic parts in Azure or Purple or Bright Green to make a complete model. But more then that imo the set is way overpriced!...€130 Euro?....for a battery box and medium motor?, at that price point they could have made a larger model like 42042 for the same price.
  6. I have noticed the price of #53178 has dropped ALOT?...seems to be a large supply of these parts available now:
  7. I wonder....on the B model of 8273 they used a turntable as a sort of pendular suspension, do you think the technique will be employed again?
  8. Will 42070 use Portal axles and ball joints like 8110?
  9. Efferman, would there be any need for a 4L Technic pin?
  10. WTF?....i think it looks fantastic! Could you not revise the model based on the new images/videos?....make it even more accurate, you did a fantastic job based on one blurry prelim image...kudos. Now you have more stuff to work with :-)
  11. The Hard springs were in White on 8461, Yellow on 42039 etc. and Red on 42056....i haven't seen any other hard springs types in other colours. I think the confusion as to what is a Normal and Soft spring. Visually the springs might look different also. And i haven't touched the longer 9.5L shocks on 9398 etc. there is a wide variety of those as well....with Soft, Hard and Extra Hard springs in different colours. I have several types, i have Red, Dark Blue, Light Gray, Light Bluish Gray and Yellow....i don't have any Teal or Blue ones. In the 9.5L in have Yellow/Black and all Black, i also have Red/Black shocks as used in this set: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=2909c02&colorID=5&in=A I don't have any Dark Gray or the ALL Yellow shocks used on 8466,
  12. This.....superb model, especially the wheel covers.
  13. Maybe your creations are soo amazing people are stunned into silence and can no longer speak, er....type? "Wow, awesome MOC" - you nailed it, the modding dosent allow for people to say that without saying something longer or contributing to the thread, such replies are considered spam, which is very wrong and discourages people from replying to topics.
  14. Could be possible to try fill in the gaps up at the top. its very nicely paneled and filled in on all sides though. I wonder how the medium motor steers the vehicle?....why not use a servo motor? I wonder also if you can add power functions to this?....its a €90 set and they usually are designed around adding a power functions set to motorise its functions,
  15. DO NOT tell me what i can and cannot post, that is not your job.
  16. same goes for him, i am PISSED OFF at the sniping, constant backseat modding and others telling other what they can and cant post. The forum ELITE constantly belittling other members, superiority complex and rampant egomania that is embedded on this forum.
  17. Thanks, I WILL continue to post whatever i like...i don't need your permission, i don't need your attitude, so why don't you F*CK OFF and take it somewhere else...m'kay?
  18. Agree...its very obvious the combo model does not use all the parts, it seems like a large amount would be left over if you bought all 3 sets. This is intended as an downloable gift, instructions for a combo model that mimicks a classic set. But it would be better just to part out or use your spare parts to built it rather then buying the three sets on question. 9398 meets 8273....its DNA is more akin to 8273 It looks like a short one, not the ones used in 9398.
  19. Just to note one thing though, the tyres used on 8454 will differ from those used on 42068. 8454 used 56x30 R tyres, but 42068 will use the more now common 56x26 tyres: http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=32180#T=C&C=11 http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=55976#T=C
  20. 42068 really is a beauty!...thanks for the pics!
  21. It's shocking how similiar these sets are, i always thought 8454 was woefully underrated and dismissed by the community as a design miss step and oddity. I personally think it looks great, has some unique parts and is very original for a Technic set. As far as i know it's the only set to feature an Airport rescue/fire truck. We have very little in the fire and rescue genre in Technic, 8289 was also a great looking set that people seem to forget. So this reboot of 8454 is welcome, the design as basically the same....right down to the wheel covers and the stickers used!, it opens at the back and a V6 or V8 engine back there, panels galore, from a design and function standpoint 42068 and 8454 are almost identical. I personally think it's the best looking set of the wave 2 2017 Technic sets. http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=8454-1#T=S&O={}
  22. Bricklink lists several sets with an so-called Undetermined Spring Type , for example...the shocks in 8461 are listed here, but i have this set and the shocks are the HARD spring type, Part #731c04, the same as 42056 in Red housing or the Yellow version housing. Why does Bricklink say undetermined?....in YOUR experince, is there only 3 official spring types?....or could the 4th one be because of wear and tear?, so visually the metal spring looks different, but in reality its shape has been altered due to age and wear?
  23. HA!...the price of the Red #3 connectors are DROPPING! http://www.ebay.ie/itm/262834722132?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I really hope they release this part in Red as seen in the display model, but as others pointed out...the box art shows it as LBG, that part could be rather useful for modding and colour matching parts to parts etc. If anyone else spotted new parts or recolours...please post in the General Part Discussion thread.
  24. this part in metallic silver http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=55981&colorID=67&in=A or this part in flat silver: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=55982&colorID=95&in=A
