  1. This is just amazing. Cannot wait to show this to friends! This is the type of display that gets non-LEGO fans into appreciating LEGO, its so good :)
  2. Maybe.... by extremely impoverished football clubs! LOL
  3. That's interesting thanks, didn't know that. I know some football players had the adidas logo on their trousers, looked neat I have to say!
  4. Nice site man! Love the captions. Dog is funny too, dunno about "so cute" though :)
  5. Does anyone think LEGO will ever make minifig shorts? Considering they had a football theme going once I am surprised it didn't come out then. What I'd like to see is a number of colours used on the typical legs part with yellow (being LEGO figs skin colour) being in the middle....
  6. Nice detail there, particularly like the paved square where the indian is tied up, got to feel for him though!
  7. Actually you may be right.. on closer look they appear to be which is a huge NEGATIVE! Other way they are extremely poorly printed? I'd prefer poorly printed however than stickers. Recently my Maersk ship stickers have all started to peel off :((
  8. Alot of recent classics there! I like the small add-on you have made to the Market Garden set, sweet! What do you think of the Eifel in relation to the other sets. I have it too but personally I feels it is just too way big for a town display but thankfully impressive enough to leave in your living room to impress non-LEGO friends :)
  9. Personally I would like to see a trebuchet! Something similar to this ... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...e/Trebuchet.jpg
  10. The kitchen wagon is fantastic, really reminds me of the old western flicks. As mentioned by ZO6 the civilian theme is a good improvement. Good job. On a side note, my brother has the original of this set but the material cover is grubby - any recommended way of cleaning this? - ps yours looks very clean, is it new?
  11. I like this set alot... reminds me of 1980s sets. Love the new shield designs, less childlike than recent castle sets.
  12. You're right there! Yes, probably trees look better with curved but I don't have many of those so basic bricks had to do :) lol if you say so. Me too Yes, but who?!
  13. Possible to see more pics, ground view (minifig view) and birds eye and sides? Certainly it is a major improvement and I think it looks good. I'd agree about requiring a machine gun as that is often considered as important as the main gun. Also you need some anti aircraft equipment or your tank wont last long against a chopper.
  14. Those rail tracks are really well done!
  15. This is a simple little square I made for my town. Nothing much but a good place to pick-pocket tourists.
  16. Some great sets there, particularly like that early 90s police station. Would you ever considering breaking up the official sets and making a town with a more personal touch using the pieces?
  17. Well I love the "42" TV" reference lol Looks pretty official although I'd lose the "flowers".
  18. I only like 4 wide, yes I know its conservative but it's always been my preference. One reason I dislike 6 wide for example is they are even more out of scale that the 4wide versions when compared with both buildings and road widths...
  19. Hi, you may be interested in joining www.brick.ie A (Dublin) meeting of AFOLs is being planned in March.
  20. lol well who said rioting isn't fun (see Recreational Rioting) All stories are ongoing :)
  21. haha yea good point but these fellas aren't the normal police but the army. The government got fed up of using the baton chargers so has decided to ramp up their response :P
  22. Running street battles between security forces and the capital's residents have erupted in my Lego town tonight. Disturbances broke out in the city centre when dozens of minifigs started smashing in shop windows and hijacking and burning cars in anger at the government's apparent mismanagement of the economy. More pix (Brickshelf)
  23. Thought some people might like this,
  24. I like the idea of a cave (rocky mountain set) with or without a waterfall. Also bison are required, they weren't all wiped out!
  25. Sickle and golf club are my favourites.
