  1. This is great! The only thing that's missing is an out of service snack or drinks vending machine. Nice work!
  2. Well with none of my current crop of police cars looking anything like those of my local Irish Gardai I decided to try and make something more similar. I didn't find it too easy and couldn't find a few parts. I may try again soon and resort to using a printer to print the illuminous yellow and blue bands on the side, yes cheating! An example of the real life car is here and here. Hope you like!
  3. Ha! That's brilliant! Cut tubing is neat, this is a very cute set, I'm sure very marketable!
  4. I prefer the European however Europe has many kinds, trains with a similar style to the old classic lego 1980s sets are still common in Europe along with LEGO's 1990s TGV copy, think it was called the Metroliner. Probably my favourite LEGO train.
  5. A clamper would be nice, you know a tow truck with a new piece to clamp the tyres of cars parked illegally.
  6. Seems very expensive for the amount of bricks.
  7. Very nice truck, dark green looks very well. Love the Merc logo, adds realism.
  8. lol I didn't! 11 friends all chipped in 5euro and got 2 or 3 teams. Whoevers team won the world cup got the 55euro. One of my team's was Holland!
  9. I disagree... In my opinion Playmobil is for younger children maybe those between 3 and 10. LEGO covers the same age bracket of course but most its sales are on the themes aimed at children above this age bracket.
  10. I'm up for Spain although I'll net 55euro if Holland win :)
  11. Wow you sure have some skill with the graphics!! I may ask you someday for help with a logo like that one you have done for the Superleague as it's just great and I don't have the talent to do it. I've some decals for my club teams here http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=419710 - they are designed for printing on paper rather than stickers .. If you are interested in Lego n footy, you should considering managing of of my SuperLeague's clubs (info). If you are familiar with games such as Championship Manager, it is something akin to that but more basic but you need to buy players and build up your team! Season doesn't start til September :)
  12. I think they certainly will. LEGO has had a huge amount of new themse in the last decade, many licensed but no reason why they won't have a licensed theme in future than is based on some film to do with greeks or romans or cavemen!
  13. I have to say I love this. Despite being 6 wide! Great idea also, and one I must copy :)
  14. Very nice moc. Like your other ones too, artillary unit is sweet.
  15. Wow you have done really well here. As commented by others, the curved look is executed brilliantly and the pipework really looks realistic. Choice of colours was good too!
  16. Nice classic looking set - what country is it supposed to be with monkeys running around the place? Or is it a pet, looks up to mischief, over the door.
  17. Single wheeled! Very clever, nice work!
  18. I wish number 1 and 7 were in the shops. I would buy a hatful of those. The world would be a better place with a return to 4-wide cars.
  19. Nice shot of Bert. Where did you get the Holland torso sticker?
  20. This is really good, the 3 stripes and Logo is neat. Wonder if Adiddas will see this, hope so. You intregrated the lights very well too - Kudos for that. ps. the Vuvuzelas should be banned though ;)
  21. Very cool. Nice idea using the micro for the warship and then focusing on the inside. Really works well.
  22. Very very nice, love the painter and stand :)
