  1. You are right lightningtiger, larger would fit more officers :) As my favourite vehicle sets are from the 1980s I only do 4-wide cars and trucks when MOCing, otherwise the different scales on the same roads just look silly to me. Captain Tamamono and Buddy, thanks for the kind words. Burman, I am particularly glad you liked it. All the best, David
  2. This MOC is inspired by the Land Rover Tangis used by the Police Service of Northern Ireland. Although I haven’t tried to copy the exact positioning of aspects of the armoured vehicles, (for example the lights, wing mirrors, signage) I hoped to capture a decent enough reflection of the real thing, keeping in mind it had to be 4-studs wide. You can see the real thing here. I heard on the news today that the PSNI had a delivery of 60 new Tangis. Looks like they will need them tonight.
  3. 400 Blacktron 1 minifigures for sale! The minifigs were used in an Exhibit. In good condition but the following parts are glued: Helmet visor glued open. Head, torso, and feet glued together. The arms and hands are removable. All have a white clip glued on back (see picture below). The price I am looking for is €1.50 per minifig. Discounts are: Buy 100 or more for EUR 1.40 each Buy 150 or more for EUR 1.30 each Any questions, please Message me! Thanks, David
  4. This layout's very good. Bustling looking! Train part is the best! The Maersk looks great.
  5. Thanks for the tip. I would consider these parts as a last resort maybe for some streets. I don't like the look of them and they don't give much flexibility really. But cheers for the link nonetheless!
  6. Great video. Love the orange Iaranod Eireann train. Brilliant. Great use of orange bricks too!
  7. I like this alot. Good to see a shopping centre. By the way, the delivery trucks look very good in their own right!
  8. I am kicking myself for not ordering significant quantities of various Light and Dark Bluish Gray tiles of various sizes when I had the chance to get 1x8s at 4 cents a pop. If anyone wishes to sell or trade, or comes across a decent priced seller please let me know. Of most interest is 1x6s or 1x8s but 2xXs or 1x4s, 1x2s are also keenly sought! I need to cover about 20,000 studs which to give an idea equates to 2500 1x8 tiles! Please drop me a message if you have any questions.
  9. Hi lightningtiger, What really impresses me most about this creation is the amount of effort you have done with the sticker logos. They add a great touch of reality and indicate you must be a pretty patient MOCer locating, editing, printing and sticking so many on one MOC! I made one such sticker yesterday and it wasn't the most fun experience I have ever had let's just leave it at that ^^
  10. Hi all, Thanks for all the comments. I do plan on paving both the road and footpaths, roads will be dark grey with white lines and footpaths will be light grey. I agree with Leg Godt Gud's suggestion that raising the path would look best. This is actually a really great idea the more I think of it and so I hope now to do this in future. I just need to save and find some place to buy plates at a good price as I will need to pave around 20 of these 48x48 blocks! Cheers, David
  11. B-OV-18C Hi all, Progress is slow so I am pleased to be able to say I have completed another block for my new Town. The block goes with the Town Street block I recently posted although this previous block may be altered somewhat. The insides are not very detailed but I will be going back to redo these at another time! Hope you like.
  12. Well thanks for the comments guys. Glad you liked it ^^
  13. Thanks. Your name isn't Silvio Berlusconi... by any chance? ^^
  14. Hi Captain. Yes, that would be me ^^

  15. Well actually an ambassador I posted off to a friend in the USA. He never arrived ;(
  16. Just 2 small pictures I took of a well-to-do family in my city. Hope you like it.
  17. This is brilliant. Great detail. Good job!
  18. Great job. Castle and car park are sweet.
  19. Glad you all seem to like the lights. They are simple LEDs, not Lego lights; wiring can be a bit awkward to do inside so I have to construct service risers in my buildings now. I used sweet wrappers of different colours to make different lighting effects. The streets are a bit bare that is right but I haven't quite finished placing trees and minifigs so I will do that soon. Regarding the Martime shop, part of the city is near the coast so there is a market for selling lifejackets! Thanks for the comments. David
  20. Haha! Yes probably best avoid annoying the Empire :)
  21. B-OV-18D Hi, This is a small new street in my town consisting of a Marine shop, Chinese restuarant and Grocery shop. Residential town houses above the ground floor in each. Apologies for the backgrounds :)
  22. Hi all. The Emperor of my Lego city has been busy saying goodbye and best wishes to 4 ambassadors that will be heading off to other AFOL lands. Here's some pics of the bunch before they joined their banquet. Hope you like.
  23. Thanks for the feedback all. Glad you liked it. I hope to post more scenes from different games in future. The red & whites are called Legoland United, the blue and yellow, Legoland FC. Is this Genaro Cal the Atlas Bell owner? ;)
  24. My minifigs have being busy celebrating holidays playing football.
