Unfortunately people will give money if you "starve" yourself for 40 hours. So that is why it will help. Not all food is blocked by warlords and corrupt politicians, maybe 90% of it is but if your brother survived because he was lucky to eat some of the 10% that got through, then wouldn't you agree it was worth it... 40s hours without food is not unhealthy for a healthy person. You will just be hungry but the hunger will go and for 16 of those 40 hours you will be sleeping (hopefully). Optimax, why would a person really care if the guy doing the fast breaks it by eating something after 20 or whatever number of hours. The point is they got money for a charity. As for whether the charity is any good in the long term that's another issue but in the short term it usually is something positive.

Nice scenes casewindu. The person with the sunglasses should be told to take them off before going through the scanner!

If you have any railway track you can have a train yard on the land side of the port. The wagons with their cargo would look good. I think the important thing is for your port to be busy with the loading and unloading of cargo and crates. You could also use tracks to allow the port crane to move along as in the official LEGO port sets of the 1990s. You could make some small canals where ships can harbour for delivering goods. A few warehouses would look pretty good too. On the port quayside itself you could have some tanks for oil and pipes that allow the refueling of your ships. You could also make a small oil refinery as these are usually located beside major city ports. If your port will have fishing trawlers you could make a cannery/factory building beside the port. If you have any of the LEGO pieces that are used to hold two LEGO lights together (when they are brand new and before they are separated) these can be used as fish. Likewise the shiney gold LEGO piece that holds 4 pirate coins together can be used for canned fish.

B-OV-31C Here is a super MOC, one of the best in my opinion (rivals the Frankfurt train station). I am not sure if it has already being flagged but I did a search on the boards and couldn't find it. Anyway, I think it is really fantastic, would be super as a Palace or Govt building in either a modern Town/City layout or in a Pirates era city. There are more pictures of it here.

Maybe the catapults are not actually catapults in fact but hydro electric power turbines to power the really big and ugly looking light bulb. Mr Phes, as you own this set, can you shed any light?

Is the yellow one supposed to be an airport fire tender? I think the writing on the roof says "airport" something or other but it difficult for me to see. Anyway airport fire engines are usually different looking to the more common red ones used in urban areas (where I am). So IMO the red looks better (more realistic) if you are going to have it in a city scene whilst the yellow one looks better if you are going to place it near an airport. In any case though, nice experiment Holodoc *y*

Just a quick fairly insignificant question: are there any traditional Smiley lego faces with the minifigs in the new sets? Or are they gradually becoming extinct.

If town/city can also have train sets?, mine is Other nice ones were the old Shell oil truck, the post office and the crane (late 1980s I think).

ordering viagra through MOCpages.com ???
Minifig Lecturer replied to Brick Miner's topic in General LEGO Discussion
BrickMiner, I think that is unlikely although possible. What may be more likely is that some discussion forum or website put a link to your site and its readers clicked to it for a day or two until the link was removed or lost as they do become in forums. I had a jump from a typical 20-40 daily to 400 daily for 2/3 days when a website linked mine. -

Excellent job Hinckley! And you are right, this set could be produced and for AFOLs it looks great! (Just throw in the traditional 1 criminal!) Simon, you know, you have the best police cars of all time *wub*

Maybe one could use the base as a platform for an offshore Oil rig (or 4 bases to make a big rig). Oil rigs seem popular around here.
