  1. You look like Swiss chocolate! :)
  2. Brinkminer, This job is very professional. A good advert for you if the LEGO company is looking to recruit set or graphic designers. Considering LEGO don't do the Wild West theme anymore, would you not consider designing and selling a new WW theme yourself? With sets like these, it seems you could have a niche market here.
  3. For the Taj Mahal lovers.
  4. I don't think there is a Lego Ireland.
  5. Does the colour of the station's baseplate match the new roads? I just haven't seen it in a layout yet.
  6. Well I guess it depends on the feedback Norro! Which doesn't seem too good so far, to be honest :'-(
  7. Nice House. The colour co-ordination is very good and some very nice detail, especially the hanging lights in the ground floor *y*
  8. Nice truck but when these are on the lego road base plates they just look too big, or the roads, too narrow.
  9. More UNHCR Lego ads
  10. I dont really like the station itself however the details are good and could be used in a good MOC. Especially the turnstiles and ticket machine.
  11. Perhaps if the ET sells well LEGO will start to make things like Big Ben and the Taj Mahal.
  12. In particular I would like a prison (not police station) and a power plant.
  13. Very nice! Hopefully they make a arch de triomphe someday also. Looks like there might be some kind of lift in that model.
  14. Two reasons. 1, Legoland FC who own the stadium saved money by not planing grass seeds and 2. the pitch is built directly on a carpet and as the green baseplates are smaller, playing games in the stadium would be difficult as the plates in the middle of the pitch would move and that would suck. The pitch of the current stadium with green baseplates is build on raised wooden boards, so the baseplates hold together. This picture shows the plates are built above the normal road level, if you can see it?
  15. Thanks Asuka. A coach? no, I am an Emperor..
  16. ok brickshelf folder hasnt been available for a few days so here are the pics below:
  17. The kooks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxNRf93a2BA
  18. Here are some pictures of an old MOC football stadium I made a good few years ago. The stadium used most of my bricks but I thought I had lost these photos until I found them filed away on an old laptop on Saturday. :'-) Hope you like. Some more here, Lego Soccer Stadium pics
  19. Very nice version Alex *y* It isn't for sale?
  20. I really hate women with lipstick :-X
  21. Come on guys. This "competition" is not about music! You cannot call these groups musicians. This competition is about childish national pride and as such the whole thing is a grade A joke for [insert derogatory noun]s ! David from Kildare is right about the block voting - its done primarily from nationalistic immigrants in each country (e.g. Turks in Germany voting for Turkey). To watch such a competition is a waste of your time unless you are on enough narcotics to be able to convince yourself that the song winner was really Europe's best among a bad bunch.
  22. I think the seaport is very disappointing - very few bricks, all large ones like as if no effort was made designing this apart from trying to save some plastic. The truck is terrible when you see it without the crate loaded on the back, no half-decent truck should look like that :-X Bring back the old port cranes and vehicles. The box cover beats the real thing.
  23. I never saw this colour scheme used before but I must say it is impressive. And yes, the scarecrow is funny :-D
  24. Very nice cityfan! I like the way you use grey baseplates rather than roads. Makes it more built-up looking and they look like nice cobblestones. Nice ATM and gate too!
