General MOC-Discussion, WIP-Help, and Teaser Thread
Capn Frank replied to Kolonialbeamter's topic in LEGO Pirates
Maxim, you could build a large xebec, and have much smaller guns on the long quarter deck. It would have 1.5 gun decks. You're good.- 315 replies

[ESL-FB] Stone Quarry (99 pieces)
Capn Frank replied to Elostirion's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I love the fact that you've invested only 99 pieces for a mine that merits it. Great piece usage to keep your piece count low. -
Greetings EB members. WisLUG recently had its 5 year anniversary when it was initiated by DarkDragon. Upcoming meetings and shows we're participating in are at the following site. I don't run the LUG, I am just relaying information in case there are other Madison or Milwaukee area EB members. Multiple EB members are also current members of WisLUG: Me! Rogue Angel curvedroadplate Col. Brik Jareth It would be great if any of you can make it to one of our meetings in Madison or Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I hope to see you there.

I'm sorry for the VERY late replay. Thanks for the complements. BL: 47576. I really like these little wheels and run out of them all the time. I have been working on a layout that is typically 1 brick plus 1 plate high. However this build has been demolished for something bigger and better. It's my camera that throws the white balance way off. It doesn't help that I am not good at fixing color balances manually for photos either.

Silver had already been struck by Breshaun. These men are seeing if anything valuable can be found near Eltina on the same island. I've left room in the build for a more in depth mining operation to occur once something valuable has been extracted.

With the Oleon attempting to gain control of the grape trade, Commerce Properties have begun to spring up in the farthest colonies. Wine still aging are shipped in barrels, And bottled wine is shipped in crates from Le Bellan. The finest wine glasses are shipped in from Port Raleigh. All of these come together in Astrapi to bring the farthest colonies the best wine Oleon has to offer. A couple of merchants are verifying that their inventory remained in tact after delivery.

Sea Rats: Sign-up and Discussion
Capn Frank replied to Darkdragon's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Welcome aboard Savage Opress. Your account has been created. You may view your available funds anytime in the live monthly account summary in the Account Summary Topic. Many things have a license cost for active ships and properties that generate monthly yield. As Kwatchi said, your first Class 2 vessel is free. Also, your first small property license is free for a plantation, artisan, commerce, factory, education, or cultural property. -
Moved this topic to the same forum your related topic was already moved to.

Yes, I did change it. Feel free to send me PM with any details. Nope. However... Your ship has been manually changed to 0 DB.

Phred's BoBS Lego displayed at Events
Capn Frank replied to Capn Frank's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
My Pirate Lego made it to the another display. WisLUG had a display at the Overture Center for the Performing Arts. The display was noon to 6:16 pm, Sunday, May 22, 2016 at The Overture Center, Madison, Wisconsin. The event was tied to the run of “The Lion King” and included a Minecraft-themed building activity that was a big hit with the kids! WisLUG’s first time at The Overture Center was a big success, drawing in over 750 visitors and numerous small builders We has less room than expected at this event. My fort is made to go past the left edge of my town. Rogue Angel brought his large history tavern and we populated it with Pirates. See above. After this month, hopefully you'll see our entire display. -
Yes, Ska uses these form responses to verify that the ships are licensed for MRCA. Multiple modifiers are multiplied. So you will pay 1.5 (150%) X 0.7 (70%) = 1.05 (105%) of the original cost for 4-6 vessels.

See Eslandola PM response. See my PM to you.

Parentheses indicate negative values in accounting. The 30% discount for ship licenses hadn't been applied yet, but is now for all ship licenses since April 1. What doesn't seem to be included?

Settlement: Breshaun, Le Bellan, Oleon
Capn Frank replied to blackdeathgr's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thank you Captain Genaro for posting, and licensing your Silver Smelter as a Factory right at the end of last month. Breshaun is now a Large Town. Couple benefits at this rank is we can now use the medium Fort that was built here in MRCA, and there is a 3% growth in NPC properties, which currently equates to 1 NPC Residence added per month. The combination of troops, 1 Medium Fort, and 2 NPC Large Forts make Breshaun and Le Bellan very secure. -
Fixed, and all other account adjudications should be fixed. It doesn't take long to make. I just need to wait until I have access to high speed internet to re-link all the sheets. It's ready now though. June Account Summary

The current form doesn't differentiate between Prospects and actual mines. Your entry for prospecting has been revised, along with some others. Number of Properties Required for a given Settlement Level that I currently use and may not be 100% accurate but hopefully will be updated into the rules eventually

MOC-Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag ''Jackdaw''
Capn Frank replied to Hass Kabal's topic in Pirate MOCs
Please don't post images that are over 1,024 x 768. Images rarely need to be over 800 x 600. See our Site Guidelines. I switched all of your images to 800X600. Otherwise, the vessel is coming along nicely. Thank you for sharing your progress so far. My only comment is the rigging above the lowest crow's nest. You may want to try to attach the top of the rigging next to the mast and the bottom at the edge of the crow's nest. That would give a little bit of an angle for your top rigging.- 69 replies

Thank you everyone for your complements. For each mast, I had used two assemblies of & to rake the masts. Each assembly is very rigid, and the use of two makes the raked masts even more solid solid. These click hinge assemblies were then attached to 1X10 technic beams, which were integrated to support the deck. I only have an old, crumby digital camera with terrible color balance. I would love to use dark green instead of dark bley. Make your own tiller. You want some ship wheels. Just stop by from Greece to the U.S. when you get a chance. I have a bunch of extra ones, seeing how I keep not using them for my ships. -
There's a lot there, so I PMed you. No worries. Everything was already be fixed. I believe CG fixed it, and you should be good to go.

Nice ship. I'm really happy that I got to work on some of the rigging. I look forward to her getting sails and showing up at Brickworld Chicago.

Thank you for the complements. I really have no idea if New Oleon, the surrounding area, and Rogian Sea have any correlation to the middle-east and the Mediterranean. I never asked Ska. It just seemed right with the four factions having correlation to Europe, and New Oleon was in a similar area.
