i'd be cautious about using plated SNOT walls on the ship. If the walls were mostly black, it would probably 'cover up' most of the 'studdyness' of the walls. Also, maybe try having the top deck 1 stud less wider on each side than the bottom deck. It looks like it may be a little top heavy. Just suggestions. i hope you can pull off a great look with that design! it would definetely be unique compared to most of the other ships i've built or seen on EB lately. Edit: Here is a couple of suggestions that i found at this website. The rigging on the mizzen masts of these look pretty neato.

Personally i don't mind the prison at all. I think of them as 8 extra 4 x 1 x 2 prison wall pieces that i didn't have before (i'm really glad they aren't bley) for my MOCs. It is a great set for its price. I know its been said a bunch of times but i gotta say it. Stupid Stickers! >:-(

I'm 26 and an Engineering major @ UW-Platteville. Most ppl i talk to at college about legos really like the idea of getting their old sets and come out of the dark ages. I tell them where all the lego websites are and show them that they can get missing pieces for their old sets on BL. My wife just tolerates lego and is thankful i don't have an expensive hobby like some of her friend's husbands where they easily spend thousands. The inlaws haven't bought me any new sets for X-mas or B-day since i got the UCS ISD. I think they think i have too many legos. Now that's just not true!! X-O (it'll never be true he he he >:-) ) My family has long tolerated my hobby since i've been legoing for almost 20 years (minus 2 years of the dark ages in high school). One of my brothers is also into lego pirates as much as i am so that's always fun.

My favorite is the UCS Star Destroyer by far. *wub* *y* *wub* I've modified mine and put a hanger bay and ionization reactor on the bottom. I also made a Nebulon-B Frigate and Millenium Falcon to scale. It'll be a long time until i'm short classic gray plates that's for sure. Great pic of your AT-AT's mutley777

when spiderman was out i saw both lego and megablok sets availible. i just figured they could both have the liscense from that. I agree, that'd be pretty cool! That's be a great new castle theme. Only problem is you'd probably have the same problems with Link as SW sets. Lots and lots of Luke Skywalkers.

i'm glad to see TLC coming out with a new castle them (if i've been reading correctly *wacko* ). i know we'll never see the CC again, but hopefully the new sets will have a little CC flavor and more realistic looking. the first knights kingdom were a joke. I've attempted to... ... but using only these pieces i can't quite get it to stay together very well w/o gluing |-/ . and i don't like to glue. Edit: Exactly, i just like my crows nests to be well built and solid. (hmm, i wonder if you include a technic half pin if it'd work better)

Commodore, It would appear that Aaron is engaged against us and he has a very powerful frigate that might damage me beautiful ship. I feel i am wavering in my need to erradicate the POTC haters. Besides, can't we all just... ...get along. That is unless Capt. Roger can't cool off and just pillage, destroy, and plunder like every other descant pirate. Instead of trying to pick fights with those who can easily blow him to smitherines.

for such a small set, it came with 3 blue coats and a governor or admiral most other imperial sets this small would have had only 1 or 2 blue/red coats

Hey Aaron what type of bricks are those used to hold your rigging down on the sides of your frigate, i don't recognize them? Also, That 8 sided brown thing in the center of your deck, is it one of your capstans?

i own all the original sets with islanders in them. i like them a lot. i like having all them canoes. they seem to add more flavor to system pirates. haven't made any mocs with them yet. didn't think about it until i saw some of the mocs on here.

is there going to be a way for any of us to try out the game? or a website to download it? it sounds very interesting

I really like POTC, but i know it's far from being historically accurate with planks, buried treasure (or rum), davy jones, etc. What would you expect from disney? lookin good so far. it seems like a good design. i like the triangle sail design on ships (too bad frigates dont have primarily triangle sails 8-| ). the only two improvements i would suggest is to use four 3 x 3 facets on the front of the ship. Also, the main mast and mizzen mast might need to be a little closer together. nothin major, just suggestions. the coloring looks good on there too. Oh yeah, it needs a figure head. (hmm... ....that's enough fer now, back to pondering)
