My brother has a couple of those shakos. It snaps onto the head real well, but i've never placed one on any official lego heads though The interior where the stud snaps onto is different from the lego shako. I can go get them and "experiment" on them if any would like or has any questions? P

That's pretty good Sah :) About the platoon thing... In the US Army, generally there's 10 ppl per squad and 4 squads per platoon. But there is a sergeant and a lieutenant assigned to the platoon so theres 42 total ppl in a squadplatoon X-D . (let me know if i'm wrong :-$ ) Didn't the marines in POTC where tricorns? As mentioned already, i don't like bed or bred cause it's reddish brown not brownish red. First off, if there's another thread about this, feel free to merge this one. Ok, a while ago in the Eiffel Tower Thread it was brought up that the mini-fig scale for legos is 1:45. Excellent! So how long is a stud to a lego person? I did some math and it goes something like this: One stud in my world equals about 0.703 cm or 0.023 ft for us Americans ;-) . Multiply that number by 45 and you get... One stud to my minifig equals about 31.64 cm or 1.03 ft. This makes sense to me but... does anyone else agree? Let me know. X-D P

I just classing the ship with real sailing ships of the late 18th century. A cutter, in some of the books i've read, refer to any war type ship with less than 10 long guns. ;-) P

Hey Cyryl, I love them cannons Haven't ever seen cannons using those T-shaped bars before, so i added them to the Index of MOC Cannons. Nice work *y* Also added your ship to the Index of MOC Ships. P

I've used both gungan torsos for oriental sailors and it seems to work out nicely too *y* You seem to have a lot more gungans than i do though X-D Added this MOC to the Land Based MOCs Index P

Great idea for a moc Double-O Seven. *y* Looks pretty good. Only thing i don't like is that all the imperial pawns don't have the same uniform. No biggie though. Since it's in multiples of 8x8's, I added this Moc to the Vig portion of the Land Based MOCs Index P

I've gotten a book from the library about the USS Constitution This book describes and gives drafts of every floor and many cross sections of the uss constitution It also lets me know that i don't need as many Lieutenants that i thought and that the carronades currently on this ship are the first versions of the carronade and not the type of carronade that i'd like from around the war of 1812. Also, the stern is A LOT different from what it looks like right now. Here's what it currently looks like. Here's some pics of my crew that i've completed so far. It's a 1st Lieutenant on the left and a Captain on the right. Here's my first squad of 5 of my marines with a marine Lieutenant in front of them. P
