Yup that's exactly what i meant X-D It's part # 50746 on bricklink and peeron. They're available in red at bricklink. It's a 1x1 sloped brick that's 2/3 of a brick high. Although i don't know how the slope of this piece will match up with the other sloped bricks. P

This is a very awesome looking MOC! *y* I'd love to come over sometime and check it out X-D It really flows very nicely together. P

On the USS Constitution the stern chasers are also placed on the quaterdeck and not below the captain's cabin. Typically a brig would only have one gun deck though. That is if this builder wanted to go for realistic :-$ Besides the stern being a little square, i think this builder did a pretty good job at making a lego ship realistic. I like that there's a row boat on the maindeck and another mounted on the stern. P

No, an updated post is not regarded as a new post. ;-) For indexes for instance, I post new thumbnails and edit old posts in an index to keep up to date and my post count doesn't go up. As for the first post being updated in the large threads with the newest pics and links, i think that's a great idea! *y* I don't want to find a pic of a new set in page 7 of a 20 page thread. I don't expect the first post to be completely and constantly updated; at least a pic of the sets or theme being discussed and a link or two. P

Those are awesome so far. *y* Soon as i get paid next, i'm ordering a bunch of drk blue torsos to try them out. I've recently found some great pics online with the officers. Took me a very long time to find them. :-$ There is a 1st lieutenant on the left and a Marine sergeant on the right. The guy in the front left is the Commander of the USS Constitution. The guy on the left is a captain and the guy on the right is another pic of a 1st lieutenant. Hope that helps. P

My friend is part Cherokee and was raised real close to a Menominee Reservation. Him and the native-americans that he grew up with, never cared if they were called native-americans or Indians. In fact, most of the time they prefer to be called Indians. ;-) But that's just speaking for northern Wisconsin, don't know about the rest of the U.S. :-$ About this MOC, I'd like to see pics of it with some yardarms at least to get a better perspective of this ship (for me anywayz X-D ). I'd suggest having this ship Lateen Rigged instead of square rigged. You did a pretty good job with those log pieces. Looks like it was real difficult to get the right shape using them. P

That's a descant looking Flying Dutchman Cyryl. Did really good considering the hull piece you're using *y* Just a quick question, does it float? :-D Main thing i'd change is lowering the stern a bit, so it doesn't stick up so far. Also, if you need some MOC cannon ideas, check out the Index of MOC Cannons. Another thing with the organ to make the keys more realistic (that is if you have the pieces) is you could try what mijasper did on his piano to make the keys: Last thing (for now X-D ), i changed your Brickshelf link to look more professional and easier to read. P

Hey John, Have you considered purchasing one of the ships that are more rescent that are currently available through lego for $50 each brand new? They might be cheaper through ebay or bricklink and the discontinued models too for used ones. The Viking Longboat and The Durmstrang Ship are what i'm talking about. Then purchase cannons and crew later through bricklink or ebay. P

I really like that this new section will have a similar design as the "older" new section. When it's all put together, i imagine that the whole fort will be much more cohesive. Looking forward to the whole thing put together. P
