  1. Awesome . Love the green walls and "wood" flooring. The furniture has a sort of "mission"style to it.
  2. I love the play features of some modulars but to scrap an idea/building because it didn't have any would be terrible and would defeat the purpose of modulars being targeted at adults.
  3. How about an old fashioned Dr's office with a pharmacy on top?
  4. That would be a very plain modular. Maybe a recording studio with a radio station would be nice. What about a modular city park? Wonder how that would work.
  5. 2 birds with 1 stone. It's not like you have to follow the story line. The buildings can stand as is or changed a bit to suit personal style. Not a big deal at all. Removing a few figures is impossible?
  6. Sorry if OT but I have a self diagnosed case of OCD. I don't like the Palace Cinema at all. I do however love the PR and will be picking up the new Detective Agency when it becomes available. But since it's available it's almost as if I have to have it because it's part of the line. Should I get it? Do you guys/girls buy all modulars or just the ones that you like?
  7. Why not an arcade? Now that would be fun. Maybe a motorcycle/hot rod garage.
  8. I don't like the style of the PC at all. It just feels so out of place with the other modulars. I really would of enjoyed a more American style cinema. One of those older 2 screen only theaters.
  9. Off the wall is never satisfied with anything LEGO does, maybe he needs a new hobby. I love the city line and the lack of buildings is really disappointing but after some thought building my own mocs will be fun.
  10. I love this set. Awesome play value. I for one still enjoy playing with LEGO.
  11. Too European for my taste. Would of loved some 30s ford's. Hot rod and rat rod styled cars. Maybe a 50s style garage.
  12. Sounds like a very tough task, Good luck.
  13. Took the words right out of my mouth,
  14. Would it kill LEGO to release some of those little shops over in the City line? Geez.
  15. Oh okay, thanks for the info fellas. I'm new to LEGO.
  16. Where did the idea that it would be unveiled today come from?
  17. I would like to see them tackle stand alone buildings. Maybe single level or 2 levels but wider than an average modular. Something like a post office or a bowling alley. An arcade maybe. Not all city buildings have to connect to each other you know.
  18. I think the PR is awesome. I love that it has a story. If you want bare buildings without any life then just MOC your own, tbh.
  19. I for one love a story/scene/setting in modulars. I appreciate their advanced building techniques and architecture but hey I also love playing with them. But that's just me.
  20. I would like to see more "stand alone" modulars. I know most can be used as such but the connecting pins/rods suggests to me that they should be connected to one another. Something like a 2 story neighborhood home. Or maybe a bowling alley or something fun. I doubt it will happen given the popularity of the "connecting' style,
  21. As someone newish to LEGO I think these are awesome. The ship reminds me of "The Goonies" for some reason. I think it's an awesome wave. I do wish the ship had more detail though. I wonder if it has sleeping cabin/quarters? Kitchen? Oh well, I'll still pick up one for me and one for my nephew. Thanks for the images Just2good.
  22. OT but I really would of much rather had a traditional Ninja theme. With traditional style sets. This one is still awesome though. And as for it going on too long I don't believe it has. LEGO will only end the line if it stops making money, imo.
