  1. Both of those would be great.
  2. What about Batgirl? We've had figures of her before but never one based specifically on the 60's TV series.
  3. To be honest the compound kind of falls under the wishful thinking category for me. By the time the D2C comes out Endgame will already be 2 years old. Its long enough that the hype for the movie is completely gone yet not long enough that it's able to capitalize on nostalgia either. Plus as a setting the Avengers Compound really isn't that iconic or memorable, especially compared to the Avengers Tower which is the location associated with the team first and foremost. Its hard for me to imagine it would get picked for a D2C before the tower does.
  4. An Imperial battle pack seems redundant to me in a wave that already has the Imperial Transport filling a similar role. I just don't see it happening.
  5. It could be that we don't know the complete line up for Slave I yet. Remember when news first broke about the latest X-Wing we were told only Luke and R2 were included. It was only later we found out Leia and Dodonna were also a part of the set.
  6. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be seeing much more from the sequels. When the only new set coming this year is a cheap recolor of the 4+ X-Wing and every other toy manufacturer has completely jumped ship and abandoned the films, it doesn't bode well for the future of the Sequel Trilogy.
  7. Mandalore Throne Nice to see the lightsaber duel sets haven't gone the way of the battle packs. I believe this is the first one not to be based on one of the live action movies. Looking forward to a new Clone Wars Darth Maul. Imperial Transport Glad we're getting a proper minifigure scale version of this vehicle. The Rebels battle pack version just doesn't cut it. Hopefully Greef Karga will be a new Season 2 variant and not a reuse of the Season 1 figure that came in the Razor Crest. Slave I Don't need to replace the 20th Anniversary version but I'm still interested in seeing how they pull this off with the reduced price tag. I understand why they went with Boba's version again since it appeared in The Mandalorian recently but I really wish they would revisit Jango's as that is in desperate need of a remake. Bad Batch Shuttle No surprise here. Was expecting the show to get at least one tie-in set and this one seemed like a no brainer. Moff Gideon's Light Cruiser Looking forward to this as I've always enjoyed the flagship sets. I imagine the interior will borrow some of the design choices from the last two Star Destroyers. Glad Moff Gideon is finally coming and the addition of Fennec Shand is even better. Mandalorian Fighter Finally Bo-Katan is getting a minifigure! And on top of that we're also getting Gar Saxon! Its also been close to a decade since we last had a Mandalorian Fighter so I'm looking forward to seeing how much they've improved the design since then. Darth Vader's Meditation Chamber Guessing this will be like the Bespin Duel set from last year? Hopefully it won't be regional exclusive so people outside the US have a chance to get it without paying a fortune. Overall sounds like an excellent summer wave coming up. The set choices feel fresh and interesting while the minifigures are delivering on some much requested fan favorites. Being so heavily focused on the Mandalorian and Clone Wars also makes up for the lack of variety from the beginning of the year.
  8. They're not exclusives. More likely its another supply issue and the remaining sets are coming in a separate shipment sometime in the next couple of weeks. That's what happened last year when half the summer wave (Death Star Duel, Anakin and Grievous' Starfighters) was released in Australia at the beginning of August while the other half (501st, AAT, Night Buzzard and AT-AT) was delayed by around 3 weeks.
  9. Endor does seem like the most logical choice. I don't think they'll do another Tatooine MBS set so soon after Mos Eisley and it's safe to say General Dodonna's inclusion in the latest X-Wing rules out Yavin IV showing up in the near future otherwise they would have saved him for that. If Endor were to get an MBS set for $350 I imagine it would be covering remakes of both the Shield Bunker and Ewok Village under one package. It would also be a good opportunity to include Force Ghost Anakin, Obi-Wan and Yoda.
  10. The X-Files set by BrentWaller is the latest project to hit 10,000 supporters. Fingers crossed it passes the review stage. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/2236f271-714c-4dea-a538-f3feb1293658
  11. From what I've been told at my local Lego store there's been a worldwide shortage of Lego over the past year due to covid which has drastically increased the time it takes for retailers to get new stock in Australia.
  12. I agree those saying the Republic Gunship is more likely to be the $200 set. That's what the other recent UCS/D2C vehicles sold for (A-Wing, Y-Wing, Tantive IV) $350 was the price tag for Cloud City and Mos Eisley Cantina so I can see that one being another Master Builder Series playset.
  13. These new sets look amazing! I especially love that brick built Celestial figure and the triangular spaceship.
  14. To be fair that post was made well over a year ago long before we got the recent announcements from Disney. I've been meaning to update the list for a while now given how many figures have been released since it was made along with the current direction the brand is heading.
  15. The new figure looks good. Still think a white cap would've looked more accurate than a dark tan one but other than that its a nice upgrade over the previous version.
  16. I imagine each show will be treated like Resistance and Galaxy's Edge with only 1-2 sets to tie in with the latest release before moving onto the next project.
  17. Do we still even need the "Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here" thread? Maybe it would be better just renaming it to "General LEGO Star Wars Discussion". That way people have a place to go for open chat while still keeping the Rumors and Wishlists topics focused on those particular subjects.
  18. Moving back to the 2021 sets - the rest of the wave is now up at Shop@Home for Australia. Its good to see the other sets didn't suffer a price increase like the TIE Fighter did. The X-Wing especially is a great deal for just $80 and will be an even better bargain when the regular 20% off sales hit.
  19. Not anytime soon. Aside from the folding wing gimmick there's nothing really differentiating the Outland TIE Fighter from the standard Imperial one that's about to be released in January.
  20. The price increase for the TIE Fighter in Australia is really disappointing. Charging us extra defeats the purpose of making these new sets more affordable in the first place.
  21. Haven't seen any interviews with the designers, but the staff at my local Lego store mentioned there has been a worldwide shortage which has lead to sets taking much longer to restock than usual.
  22. Videos are starting to pop up for the new sets. The X-Wing turned out pretty good overall but but the landing gear seems pretty flimsy and doesn't actually retract despite what S@H's description says. I do like how smoothly the wing mechanism operates on the new model.
  23. Just noticed they've updated the Hoth Luke figure from the microfighter set. The torso design is new and it comes with printed legs this time. Shame they stopped using the white hat as that was more accurate than the dark tan one.
  24. There are clearer pics over on Reddit. Definitely no arm printing for Vader. And only three common figures for the shuttle is pretty underwhelming. On the bright side the shuttle itself turned out pretty well. The cockpit doesn't appear to have the blocky underside from the preliminary pictures.
  25. I think its just how the set was posed for the box art. The description on Shop@Home mentions the landing gear is retractable.
