  1. Yes, I took a look at the code. In the previous file it seems you simply hush the warning with the @, but the xml_to_arr made a check that failed every time (it checked for a file but the path was a whole xml, and the true condition, if used, would generate a warning it too). Now it has much more sense. Here is the gallery. Here is the source file (the last WIP version).
  2. Great, I'll integrate my version soon! Did you simply removed the check or you replaced it in some way?
  3. It seems that some kind of update (in php runtime or in its configuration) generate a warning in my gallery (the gallery is still there under the warnings). The error is clear, but now I've not time to look at the problem, but if someone has fixed it already... could report the solution? Gnaaaac?
  4. Maybe we can refund the topic in this way: - a voluntary Murdoch17 will manage the index - all the post containing entries will be moved to the proper theme sections (the great part of them ad from Murdoch17 and could be moved in a single topic in the town section) - a new "rules" post will be written with few rules, the main one that explain that the topic is a simple index (all the posts following the index are simple reports for LDD sets spared in the forum and NOT entries). If Murdoch17 wants to take the burden, that could be done.
  5. In my opinion, in order of importance: appearance, functionality and realism. But the choice depends on the situation, the best brick build part is the one that balance in the best way all those things.
  6. Index updated with informations reported until here.
  7. Index updated. 64 Sets has been added to the index (16 alternative, 5 duplicate, 0 incomplete). Check your sets and report errors or inaccuracies in the index, if any! 8. Built with LDD and then order with PaB is not a very effective strategy! PaB has a very limited choice of bricks, so your creation will be very limited too. You should at first manually create a custom palette including only the bricks available in PaB, then try to built something with such a limited choice. Then you have to export the BOM of your creation and try to convert it in a format that the PaB Script for Greasemonkey can read and use to fill the PaB cart. The format used by the script is easily deducible adding few bricks to the PaB cart and exporting it. In the past LDD had a PaB Mode, that allow you to build using LDD and then order from LEGO site your creation as it was a lego set (with box, instructions, etc...). Unfortunately, this functionality was removed few years ago, probably due to the hight costs that personal sets needed. Rebrickable has a different aim, that is to show you what you can build using the parts from official sets and other imported list. It can help you to manage your BOM, but AFAIK not to upload a brick list to PaB. Take a look at the site to discover its functionalities.
  9. The aim of the script you reported above is to avoid to lose the list of bricks strenuously added to the "pick a brick" cart when the browser cookie is deleted (for example, when the browser is restarted). The script takes the list of bricks in your chart and allow you both to save it in a text file and refill the chart from the previously created text file. The only problem occurs when you try to resume a list that contains bricks that in the meantime has been removed from PaB. In this situation you have to remove these bricks from the text file or you will obtain an error and the script will not work properly. As matthewclso told you above, probably Rebrickable is the best solution for your needs. If you are looking for a local software, take a look at the Section Index (at the software paragraph) to see if there is something suitable for you.
  10. Take a look at the guide I linked you in the post #5 (this one), there you can find an explanation. The ID you can read in a booklet is an ElementID.
  11. I suggest you to search for pieces using the DesignID and not the ElementID. As there are many ElementID for any DesignID, it is not strange that LDD miss some ElementID during the search. Maybe the ElementID that you can find in a search are those related to parts in LDD mode, but in Extended Mode, where you can assign every colour to every available brick, ElementIDs are not compiled (for all the combination, at least... because for some combination ElementID don't exist, as many combinations don't exist in real bricks). The question is even more complicated if you consider stickers and decorations. Note that the Extended Mode is a supermode that the LDD staff makes available to us AFOLs to allow us to use LDD with its full potential, but it is a sort of "use it as it is", without warranty. The fully supported mode for LDD is the "LDD Mode". Another suggestion is to use LDD Manager to generate a LXF file containing all the available bricks for a set. It can save you a lot of work when you build an official set. Take a look at it.
  12. The extended mode allow you to access to all the bricks available in LDD in all colours (even if a specific brick has never been printed in that colour), but not all the bricks are available in LDD. So it is not strange to find missing bricks when you built an official set, and you have to fill this lack with other parts or brick build solutions. About stickers and decorations, surely LDD provide only a small amount of them (probably due to the need of disk space they require and the inadequacy of the user interface to manage a large amount of decorations).
  13. About your computer, probably your problem is the video cart, an integrated Intel GPU. Update the video cart driver to the last compatible release and disable all advanced graphic effects in LDD. The topic you linked is for LDRAW sets, non for LDD ones. The text code you obtained is the content of an MPD file (generated from MLCAD, an LDRAW based software). In fact MPD files are text files. LDD instead created lxf files, that are zip files. EDIT: ok, you already seen the problem!
  14. Probably the weakness of your laptop is the video card, or maybe the amount of system memory. You should provide us the full specification (Processor, System Memory, Video Card, etc...), or we could only make suppositions. You can use software like CPU-Z to see your specifications. About your creation, are you aware there is an LDD Official Sets topic where you can find many official models, including the Delorean Machine? You probably found the LDRAW Official Sets topic and not the LDD one. About the lack of bricks, you have to enable the extended mode (take a look at here)
  15. If you want to share images directly on the forum I suggest you to use one of the LEGO related hosting services, brickshelf or bricksafe. There you can host images and other related files and make direct links. PS: pay attention to avoid too big images! If you think to use this topic to introduce and discuss about your software and use the first posts as a presentation (with summary and images), the software could be indexed in this section.
  16. Hi JC75, and welcome in the LDD Official Sets topic. Good work for your first entry, you only have to fix few things: - The image is not perfectly cropped, you should remove all the borders around the subject - The attachment function of the forum is not a good solution for sharing the lfx files. I suggest you to use brickshelf or bricksafe to share both image and lxf file.
  17. @Yooha LDD tells you which bricks are removed: look for UnplaceableBricksDump.lxfml in the LDD profile directory, problematic bricks are marked in red (colour code 21). Otherwise you could compare the file before and after the removal. More informations here.
  18. In the "LDD Reference Topic" there is a decoration file, but it is not up to date. It would be very useful if someone would keep it updated.
  19. The hide function could help, but it is not a final solution. The function as it is implemented in LDD is a bit uncomfortable (it is impossible to selectively hide/unhide blocks, or explore the hidden parts in the model), and it is not helpful at all if the large amount of bricks crashes LDD opening the model. Probably the best solution to apply if the need of a second turn arises would be to split the model in two parts, for example left and right side of the central street.
  20. The problem of a second turn (a full one at least) is the total amount of parts that the final creation would count. The present rules are made to size the RCB to about 5000 parts, a number of parts that LDD could manage if your computer is enough powerful. A full second turn will bring the count to about ten thousand parts, a number that could be very difficult to manage.
  21. Pretty realization. Maybe a classic lego cat (in black) would more suitable for you MOC.
  22. Hi Akeyzerr, welcome to the LDD Official Set topic. Nice first entry, and thanks for the good post. Next time remember to avoid to use non standard font in your posts. PS: Dropbox gave some problem in the past (hotlinks blocked because of bandwidth problems and fake hotlinks), maybe it is better to use one of the LEGO related hosting sites, brickshelf or bricksafe (for both images and lxf files).

  25. In this topic only LDD screenshot are allowed so... yes, it is a screenshot made with LDD. If you want to learn to make hight quality screenshot in LDD, you can read this short guide. If you want to generate hight quality rendering from lxf files, take a look at LDD2Powray software.
