    What makes it "not-modular" ? Maybe you had different expectations from the line, but it is modular because it is made of modules :D No matter you like/dislike colour scheme, size etc... Yep those smiley faces were some "trade mark" for modular building series but maybe its time to move on. AS closed some decade, and maybe this one is beginning of new one. It would be boring to have every year big boxy building which will perfectly fit some overlived scheme...

    This late announcement brings one positive now - it will be out only within a month from now (+1 day) :) Very happy about its design and look, instant love :) Jan. 1th is monday this time so it could be here in Czech on market then :) Or I will order it form official shop (and wait those terrible up to 9 days :D)

    Its not done yet but I can send you some pics now and then later.. Its basically concepted as someone already posted (in different topic)..baseplate contains yard and some moc landscape, and inthe middle there are tiles and some jumper and HH is placed on them unmoded. So its still a dollhouse, which is landed on that landscape. I am in process to finish it, expecting some BL orders with needed parts. But if you send me your email or something as a message I can send you some pics later on :) Hehe I am too really unpatient about this..I want it right now..it already tooked unbelievable long time... Btw strange things happends on Lego modulaar FB page. I postet a status about new modular and that those who didnt believed in his accuracy were wrong, and admin baned me from that group. Weird isnt it?

    Me too, I hoped for something similar as Parisian restaurant - respectively that footprint especially with those stairs on side. It fits perfectly to my downtown area next to the Hounted house and it will make perfect alleyway between those two - on one side there will be stair and other will have fences from back of the HH yard :) Looking forward to it. Also it has great meanings to me, because ths one is last modular which fits to my small layout (only 7x3 baseplates and something) so... :)

    That´s why is better to save quick judges when something (not only in Lego "world") happens :) Quick judges ar usually wrong ones and they never brings any objectivity...

    To heavy words at this time :) For modular collectors is must have as any other modular so far. For those who builds their city layouts its matter of personal taste. I like diversity so I´ll get it onse its out. Btw its official no matter you like it or not :)

    Its funny how almost everyone hates/dislikes Town Hall, Palace Cinema or Brick Bank :D Its very subjective matter, for me, it is Market Street and Cafe Corner which I consider as worst sets from line. Brick Bank was a set which convince me to go for modular line and thanks to this set I get 8 of them so far. PC and TH are really good sets from architectural point of view, theyare less detailed though, but this could be solved by moding them - make your own interior detailes, furniture etc. Pet Shop is good set just because it brings us 2 buildings and different footprint. But in general its boring set, with boring building proces, with boring details (except fish tank). Fire Brigade is another example of quite "ok" building but its boring same as pet shop. Too little detailes inside for an Fire HQ. No specific rooms, just two generic floors, and outside is nothing special as well, but I like the bell tower. So my list of "not so good sets" (worst is bit hard) - Market Street - Cafe Corner - Pet Shop - Fire Brigade I could continue but I am not too much into ranking. I lbought just sets I liked so I dont have Cafe Corner and Market street and Fire Brigade because I dont want to spend those riddiculous prices on sets I simply dont like and could built better. I have Pet Shop though but I mod it (give them extra floor and completely bring new interior details to satisfy my minifigs housing needs :) I personally like very much those last 4 modulars (Brick Bank, Detective Office, Parisian restaurant and Assembly square) They are just perfect as sets and I never regret not single penny to buy them. As a general set aiming to cover various needs and fulfill those extreme hard conditions expected from lego sets, I just have no words. Many mocs are for instance better but they are working with different measumrments.

    I dont understand how someone could be bothered so much with fact that this modular will include figs with some facial expresions... For those who liked those simple smiley faces (as I do) there is nothing easier than change their heads for the simple one...

    Hairpiece on that guy in the pink car, was used already for example on Dareth in Temple of Airjitzu set (2015), his torso piece is actualy torso of Robin (without blue bow tie) from TLBM series.

    Not true. Ninj\go eries has its own theme (actually two if Movie is counted separately). NC is not modular bulding in terms of "Modular buildings line". It is conectible, it is compatible and it is modular but not under Creator Expert.

    Strongly disagree... NC is one of best sets on its own and fits into modular city perfectly if moded slightly - mostly baseplate and surroundings of river. If u dont like it, dont buy it. Your criticism is out of place. You cant criticise model just because it doesnt fit to your city or layout or whatever. If you are not satisfied with current offer, make your own buildings... :) And AS, ...that modular is trully masterpiece on what it is. But its not the end.

    I have it on my beach side area :) Connected to Old Fishing store with one and half baseplate covered with two layers of plates/tiles exactly the same way as water in NC. Old Fishing store is elevated little bit and its base is also covered with plate/tiles to fit with the rest. Next to these is boardwoalk and then road wiith pavement and across street begins my modular street... :) Its still in progress, but due to my limited space I had no other way to do it...

    Every city has buildings with colours bit off.. thats the beauty of it.. NC was made to give feel of wast metropolis, with bit of everything... :)

    NC could be used as skyscraper or something like that (...) beside that, it works perfectly with rest of the modulars, it requires some modification of the surroundings, but that isexactly what Lego is about. So I dont agree with its incompatibility with modulars line... Its just another perfect set, honestly one of the best. P.S. all its floors are superb, removing middle section with that fashion store will make it worse looking...

    Hah hah, resellers are going to be fu*k hard this year.... Death Star, MF, now Taj Mahal... Well done Lego :) One one hand I am dissapointed that one of the big Creator Expert sets will be this one, which I dont like really, but on the other hand, my wallet is happy, to safe some bucks on this one :)

    I wouldnt mind to get re-release of Green Grocer, with detailed interior and possibly some nwe prints on figs as well as some cool printed bricks as a food in gorcery store part... Anyway I hope that announcment will be soon, cause otherwise I am going to lose my mind :)

    New sets can wait a while, but these old one like PC will be retired soon so its better to pick them up rather then skip them for the new sets... There is lot of negative speech about AS...and yet it is one of the best modular building, so far. Every building from those three include in set is perfect and has its own interesting and yet reused and upgraded design which is lice...And also its a great parts pack.
