Haha, yeah I know... But they're all original, no knock off's. Even got a couple of some duplicates/triplicates, but those are mostly screen/sound enhancements. Also even know some movies by heart, cause mostly there's one on when I'm building. My brother-in-law calls me 'the videostore'. Mythbusters ey, reminds me of this episode.

I'm mostly inspired by movies; got a dvd collection of +1500 dvd's... And go to the cinema a lot. I also take pic's of shapes, structures, stuff and carry a sketch pad around, for when an idea pops up. Sometimes things just happen to catch your eye; that's why I'm also a firm believer of not sorting bricks.

No sets at all... Just pick some up at your holiday's local vendor; will be a great souvenir as well.

I understand where you're coming from; I'd been working on several projects which just didn't work out for some reason. Among others I scrapped my 5th element taxi build after working on it for over 3 months... But since a couple of weeks got inspired again and can't wait to get some much needed parts in to finish this new build I'm working on! So my guess is, it's a matter of inspiration and the road to accomplish a certain look your going for. If you admire those builders; you could try and recreate some of their moc's or try and build in their styles and use their techniques, Some insight in that will certainly spark the creativity for your own builds, I think it's really refreshing in seeing how other builders build.

Nice, I'd say yellow.

Picked me up 'ATV Patrol' Set (60065) only for that cap; gonna come in handy for a specific 'june' themed moc I'm working on right now... Also got some Duplo poly's for my little nephew (almost 2y/o); as an uncle I gotta try and give him the Lego-buidling-bug... he likes to stack bricks on his Duplo cars/train for some odd reason.

Checked out Bricklink, can't find it...

Now that's a good idea! Love the looks of it. Suggestion for the reception area; those printed tiles with lego sets on them. (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

Horsesaddle FTW! Been thinking about incorporating that piece, sweet intergration. Love the flow of this bike, from front to end it just seems to make sense.

Awesome job! It really conveys the 'industrial' look and feel to me. Too bad its ldd though and some pieces don't come in those actual colors. Love that side-view btw, that zipline piece just fits perfectly.

Most of us builders tend to build moc's in certain stapled themes we are accustomed to. And every now and then we lurk at moc's from themes we would just never build in ourselves. I usually build space/town myself, but tend to snoop over and peak at the Pirates theme... being amazed by the beautifull beaches, rockformations, ships etc. Please share your confessions; do you secretly admire a theme which you actually never build in yourself?

Haha, yep! It gets a prominent place on my desk and I just stare at it... for long periods of time. Untill I start a new project and it gets a place between all other moc's.

Show us some pic's; maybe we can help you out with the construction. ;) Don't give up, sometimes it just asks a few tries before something works out!

Just trying something out with a double wing technique... Dash; a hoverbike inspired by 'Storm Hawks'. More can be found on my FlickR.

Although I haven't read the comics that much, I've seen both movies multipable times. And your build, just makes me think of one sentence... no it isn't death. "I am... the Law!"

I have a dog, but he doesn't chew on stuff... But, my father uses ground coffee & orange peels to keep cats from his garden, maybe this works with Lego as well.

I can't say anything about it really, cause I'm judging the contest...

Thanks, the fig is pretty simple; hair + head + hood + torso + legs = Major Motoko Kusanagi Wanted to use the body armor at first, but it makes the head to high up, just looks weird. TLG needs to make it so the head's recessed, like the life jackets, but with a backside + some extra pouches and in black ofcourse. Also wanted to give her black pants, but in combo with this bike it would become too dark; just needed a splash of color.

Since I'm judging the contest, I can't say much about it...
