In 2018 I visited the historic city of Bukhara in Uzbekistan in Central Asia. It inspired me to build this LEGO creation. 500 years ago, Bukhara was an important trading center on the Silk Road. The old town is very well preserved and many of the old buildings still look as they did 500 years ago. The Kalyan Minaret was built in 1127. The Mir-i-Arab Madrasah was built in 1536. One of the more prominent landmarks inside the walls of Mophet is the Midhana minaret. Built a long time ago, it has been the focus of repeated renovations through the years which has given it a somewhat unique look in terms of the colourscheme. Another Mophet build, I know...haha! Got a bigger collab with @Zilmrud coming up in a little while so I gotta catch up on posting here

This was a collab build with Isaac, again made for the Ye Old Merry Battleground display at BrickFair Virginia. We took a lot of inspiration from Mark of Falworth’s castles, particularly Falworth Castle. The castle split in half for transport, and the portcullis actually works via the crank at the top. I would like to claim UoP credit for the following: Architecture: SNOTted tile stonework Alqalea Manor is a lovely castle that serves as the home of Lord Alnabil.
