So, question; for those who have them, which is a better set, The Batmobile or the Lowrider? Still deciding which I want to get, and some second opinions would be nice. -

Like Rookie875, I was waiting for a big reveal like this to share my thoughts on the sets. 70900: This is a day-one buy. Like The Melting Room set from The Lego Movie wave, I love cheap sets like this that have the major players of the movie. And both are supremely-designed. Other than that, the balloon rig is very Joker-ish, but I couldn't care less about the Ace Chemicals section. 70901: Also a day-one buy. I've seen several people talking about how great it is, so I'll be getting it, if not just for Freeze himself. 70902: I haven't gotten one single bike in a Superheroes set, so unlike most people on here, this will be a fresh look on a bike. Also, cheap way to get Robin and Batgirl, and one of my most-favorite Bat-villains, Catwoman. 70903: How much money can I spend? This I will be getting whenever I can. The figures are awesome, as is the car. And, the Riddler is another of my favorite Bat-Villains, and he looks awesome. 70904: Lego Batman 1 was my childhood. I'll be getting Clayface for no reason other than that. And, that he's cool in Hi-Res. 70905: This is the first one that I don't want as much as the others, as Bats and Robin are in other, cheaper sets, and I have Man-Bat from the Bat-Copter from a couple years back. I don't really care about the Kabuki twins. But, the Batmobile is great, so I'll hopefully be getting it at some point. 70906: Oooo. I wanted to get this set since it was revealed, but now that the price seems so steep, and the Croc set is at the same point, and it just seems so small from the reviews I've seen, I'm not sure. I'll probably pick it up at some point too, though. 70907: This is what I'll be spending my $50 bucks on. The truck looks great to me, and Croc is hilarious. Tarantula and Zebra-Man are just added bonuses. And I do not care about the questionable past of our arachnid friend. She is just a cool figure to me. 70908: Looking at some of the other sets, I'm not so sure about this one. The build is fantastic, but except for Poison Ivy, Gordon, and Tactical Babs I don't really want any of the other figs. If you can't tell, minifgures are a big drive for my sets. 70909: Meh. The only one I'm truly 'meh' on. Probably won't pick it up. And that's about it. -

Woah! Didn't realize Harley has black and red roller skates. Man I want this set. -

I don't know what everyone's problem is. I really like these new sets, all of them. From my standpoint as an amateur stop-motion-ist, just all of the minifigures for a Batman stop motion series, so delicious...sorry. The Scarecrow pizza set is the only one I'm not sure about. Though I do like the modular nature of the three sets. Oh, if only we had a Target nearby. -

[MOC] The EMPIRE STRIKES BACK - Rebel Fleet
The Brick King replied to mortesv's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Holy cow, man! This is amazing. Now we just need one of these displays in minifigure scale... ;) -
During one of my birthday parties when I was younger, my best friend gave me my first exposure to Lego AND Star Wars: The Clone Walker from 2008. After I built it, I became obsessed with both, buying any Star Wars set I could get my hands on, and watching all of the movies (Up until that point I thought it was just some weird freak show.) Soon, my love became vast, bringing me to where I am today: A LEGO collector and Star Wars maniac. (I even like the Prequels! GASP!)

WoWoah! Excalibat looks awesome! Definitely want to get my hands on him. And the Story Pack looks great too. Too bad two of Wave 8 are exclusives.

On one of the sites talking about the Batman Story Pack, it said that Robin can turn into Night wing. And this is LBM Robin. Strange... -
Well, I've preordered Harry vs. Voldemort and am trying to decide who I'm going to get after launch; either Finn, or Jake and LSP, or both. The other packs I'm just kind of 'meh'. The only other one I'm tempted to get is B.A.

Does anyone know when we'll be getting news on Waves 8-10? You would think we'd know some things by now.
-
That is amazing. It melds perfectly with the Architecture-type builds, but still retains all of Hogwarts' character. This would be a Day 1 buy for me. Glad to see Harry Potter has not left the souls of Lego builders.

Purist Star Wars Figures
The Brick King replied to IronFish's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Nice. New Dawn is the best Star Wars book I've read, and she was one of my favorite characters. -
A Godzilla world could be just a bunch of tiny buildings, and your quests are literally destroy as much of the buildings as possible. The people who give you quests could be all of the different monsters, like Godzilla Jr and Mothra and King Kong.

Very helpful. ;). I'll probably go for Krusty, since I already have a techno character in the form of the Cyberman, or I might get something else entirely, like the ScoobyDoo Team Pack of Venkman.

I need some input on this; soon, I will be getting the last Fun Packs I'll buy until Wave 6 comes out. So, I'm going to be buying two Fun Packs; Wicked Witch for sure, but I'm having a tough time deciding between Krusty and Doc Brown. Any input?

Awesome review. I love the vinyl figure style, and I can't wait until they are released for commoners like me in March.

I remember seeing, which looked pretty good, someone using the skeleton Jack Sparrow or skeleton Barbossa.

Least Accurate Licensed Character Representations
The Brick King replied to BaneShake's topic in LEGO Licensed
I ththink that Colonel Hardy from the Man of Steel sets was really bad. Granted the torso was okay, but the face was so generic and so off for him, specifically, it bugged the crap out of me. -
Actually, there was the Padme head from the Malevolence set...

Thanks! I'm currently binge-watching all the episodes I missed to get caught up. I am almost done with The Tournament of Elements; Season 4.
