The July store calendar states "Follow us on Facebook to see the next exclusive LEGO set, which will be unveiled at Comic Con International". Exclusive implies D2C, and SDCC starts on July 24th. The calendar also reveals that starting July 18th, "VIPs get access to a NEW Exclusive LEGO Set". I agree that the Mini will be the exclusive set available on July 18th, but I think the Tumbler will be revealed at SDCC and available a month or two later.

I wonder then, does that make the Ewok Village a UCS set? If the Death Star is, and the Sandcrawler is, and by this clarification future direct sets will be, it seems odd to leave the Ewok Village out?

Are you sure they didn't mean February 17th? There is an item in the LEGO February calendar for a VIP early exclusive release on Feb. 17.

Hey just2good, are the legs on Maggie a separate piece, or is her torso and legs all one part? Hoping for the former, so that we can get another height for future minifigs.

The prices for those sets were based on a conversion from the Hungarian store, and as we know some countries pay a premium more than others.
