    SB00401 K-PROJECT (MOC K-2so UCS)

    Wow, that's insane ! Happy birthday :)
  2. another update: I finished the top tiles what do you think of the cannons? (note: the little offset on the tiles is due to some bad angles and will not be there in the real build) part count: 4350
  3. hello, I decided to fix the issue (4 boring hours) and here is an update : the red parts on the wings are emplacements for canons. I'm currently covering this with tile and the next step will be the wings bottom which is harder because of some hangar exit. the build is 100x75cm and contain 3263 pieces
  4. yep, that what I'm going to do but it will take a very long time since I can't spend that much money right now (already 300$ according to BrinkLink). I'll update you when I start the build.
  5. Thanks! You're right in the case someone has thousands of pieces at his disposition but for a student like me, modeling is the only way to do LEGO mocs without spending money no, but I'll try. Perhaps it can save some time.
  6. Small update: I'm currently working on the hangar structure but I have an issue with the wings. Since I'm using stud.io my placement on cross axles isn't perfect. it results in an offsetting of the plates on the wings. To fix that issue I have 2 choices: fix the offsetting part by part (huge time loss) or buy the parts and start the build. I'm not a big fan of the second option because of the financial aspect and also because I like to work on stud.io before the real build. I don't know what to do yet :(
  7. Hello, I'm building a UCS scale Impellor Fleet carrier which is one of my favorite capital ships in the Star Wars universe. I want it to be stud-less and the final size will be 120x75cm. Currently, I've only done the inner structure an there are already 2329 pieces, mostly technic with an astonishing number of 544x 2l pin. My main goal is to build a big hangar (20x20cm) that will hold Tie fighters and a Lambda or a Zeta shuttle. I don't plan to do other interiors yet I hope you will enjoy and I'll keep you updated as much as possible. Flickr album current stage : 100x75cm - 3263 parts

  10. Hello, i'm glad to present you my first MOC. it's a nebula-class star destroyer (wikipedia page / i used this model). since it's my first MOC i'm here too get advice and tips about it. do you think there is enough details ? the destroyer contain 1795 pieces and mesure 55x35x10cm it's not finish yet since there is no rear engines but i'll have to work on structure before. indeed, the construction is probably not sturdy on the bottom part.
