Single Pane LEGO Licensed Theme Funnies
Captain Nemo replied to Gregorovich's topic in LEGO Licensed
Having just got the newer Two-Face, I was finally able to make this! I like to think that maybe Two-Face's coin is more important that people think. You know, maybe it's like the reason why Batman is one style or another...it all just depends on which way the coin lands! Of course the only constant in all of this is Batman...because you know...he's a badass. -
Great idea! I think I'll look into making those guys--that would be fun to do!
-
Aw! I was expecting James Bond builds... ...Oh well, you tricked me with the title, but welcome to Eurobricks nonetheless!
-
Looks cool! But alas I don't own and Fabuland figs--so I guess I just watch this month. :(

I've got a couple more figures to show off now: Vandal Savage, Atomic Skull, Deadshot

This looks great! Very nice dig and find here!

Congrats everyone--and Kristel! It might have been a small building drive, but we got some great entries! -

Really like the look of that set! And best of all you get the main character/villain for so cheap--it's easily a must buy set. -

I don't know what it's for, but I do know that I think it's ugly. That chin thing is too much. -
Wow, very nice set of Shield stuff! The truck is very nice, and the reverse doors are a clever building idea. And you've also collected a great set of dark blue agents to help out the A-Lists; great job!

Building Drive: Secret Agents, Jaw’s Chomp-er
Captain Nemo posted a topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Building Drive: Secret Agents Contest Entry Villain Vehicle: Jaw’s Chomp-er Blofeld wants to get rid of James Bond! So it's time to call in some mucscle to take care of him--Jaws--and his amazing Chomp-er! When having one set of steel teeth is not enough, Jaw's uses his Chomp-er, a vehicle with large razor sharp teeth to bide down on rival vehicles or the rivals themselves! CHOMP! CHOMP! ~Nemo -
Action Themes Building Drive: Lego City Vice

Is this for the Agents building drive? It doesn't look to spy like. Either way, it looks cool! -

Thanks! I like the design I made for this--I went for a more old school Bond style, hense the bright colors and stuff. -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Good find. I think he looks ok, though there could be far better choices for figures--like one of the other Justice League members. Still, Clark Superman is cool, even though his use is a bit limited. Now hopefully the movie will be worth it and not 90% cut scenes from the game. -
Building Drive: Secret Agents Support Truck
Captain Nemo replied to Kristel's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Hah! Looks great! They've got a lot of colorful firepower in there! And best of all, it still looks like a really nice truck when it's all closed up. Great work.- 9 replies

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well I'm very happy with that information. I'm pleased to see that you can gain most of the major characters in the small sets--and since I'm really only after the big guys like Mandarin and Zod--it's good to know I won't need to buy a huge set for them. But I'm also happy to see that for the most part you could by the whole group of sets for a low (some what) cost. Side note: Yay! Zod and Madarin in cheap sets! -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I could easily see the IM vs Mandarin set being that cheap, and to be honest I think that would be preferable (At least to me). It is a final battle, but battles like that are usually just character based--and as stated already, seen in Harry Potter, final battles can be shown in small sets. Plus, having a small set with the main villain mean's he'll be easily accessable with other villain characters still valuable in the larger sets. -
Is $25.00 too much for the Arkham Asylum Scarecrow?
Captain Nemo replied to 305Bats's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
While he is a nice minifigure, as are the others in the set, I don't think I would pay 25 dollars for him. I do buy figures a lot, mostly form the old line of Batman sets, but I've never spent more than $20 (For Old Freeze). I, like Superficial Username stated, would just wait to see if he shows up in another set--or at the least wait to see if you can find a good deal for one. I would expect at some point that they would show up in another set too, just like the characters that first only showed up in like the original Arkham or Batcave. -
Action Themes Building Drive - Secret Agents!
Captain Nemo replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I guess I've posted the first entry! Jaw's Chomp-er -
As I've stated (And Shown) in the Licensed Forms, I've been taking tons of pictures of minifigures in Black and White with a Color Highlight. For the most part I've so far have only been doing Superheroes, but today I started with some Lord of the Rings ones. I've got 3 done so far: Here's the link to the full set of B&W's.

Set Falling apart while trying to build.
Captain Nemo replied to Savage Oppress's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The Star Wars Episode II Jango's Slave 1. That's got to be one of the worst designed Star Wars ships ever. You even look at that thing and the whole bottom half falls off! -
Aw post got removed during update. Anyways, yes I do have some non-black and white pictures of the Mad Hatter, though they're a bit old, and so he doesn't have the number card on his hat--which was custom. (I am planning on making a larger Hatter moc soon though). I do agree that it's unlikely we'll see him or some of the other lower level villains in figures, but at least Hatter is an easy custom.

I've started adding Marvel characters to my B&W series, so here's some of the things I've been up to over the past few days... And again, here is the link to the full list of B&W pictures, which is now up to 27.
