  1. Hah! Looks great! They've got a lot of colorful firepower in there! And best of all, it still looks like a really nice truck when it's all closed up. Great work.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Well I'm very happy with that information. I'm pleased to see that you can gain most of the major characters in the small sets--and since I'm really only after the big guys like Mandarin and Zod--it's good to know I won't need to buy a huge set for them. But I'm also happy to see that for the most part you could by the whole group of sets for a low (some what) cost. Side note: Yay! Zod and Madarin in cheap sets!

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

I could easily see the IM vs Mandarin set being that cheap, and to be honest I think that would be preferable (At least to me). It is a final battle, but battles like that are usually just character based--and as stated already, seen in Harry Potter, final battles can be shown in small sets. Plus, having a small set with the main villain mean's he'll be easily accessable with other villain characters still valuable in the larger sets.
  4. While he is a nice minifigure, as are the others in the set, I don't think I would pay 25 dollars for him. I do buy figures a lot, mostly form the old line of Batman sets, but I've never spent more than $20 (For Old Freeze). I, like Superficial Username stated, would just wait to see if he shows up in another set--or at the least wait to see if you can find a good deal for one. I would expect at some point that they would show up in another set too, just like the characters that first only showed up in like the original Arkham or Batcave.

As I've stated (And Shown) in the Licensed Forms, I've been taking tons of pictures of minifigures in Black and White with a Color Highlight. For the most part I've so far have only been doing Superheroes, but today I started with some Lord of the Rings ones. I've got 3 done so far: Here's the link to the full set of B&W's.

Set Falling apart while trying to build.

The Star Wars Episode II Jango's Slave 1. That's got to be one of the worst designed Star Wars ships ever. You even look at that thing and the whole bottom half falls off!

Aw post got removed during update. Anyways, yes I do have some non-black and white pictures of the Mad Hatter, though they're a bit old, and so he doesn't have the number card on his hat--which was custom. (I am planning on making a larger Hatter moc soon though). I do agree that it's unlikely we'll see him or some of the other lower level villains in figures, but at least Hatter is an easy custom.

I've started adding Marvel characters to my B&W series, so here's some of the things I've been up to over the past few days... And again, here is the link to the full list of B&W pictures, which is now up to 27.
  10. I want to see it! I'll be posting some stuff tonight, but yeah...kind of quite here. Maybe spies just don't like to show their faces in public.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Yeah I agree with that statment. There's not too many successful superhero shows where the main cast is B to D list characters. From first glance, I don't see Beware the Batman doing well--mostly because people expect to see his classic villain roster, and not a bunch of mostly unknown characters. Regardless, getting new figures out of it would be good--though there's nothing that shows we'll get figures based on the show anyways.

How do I put pictures in my signature?

Well first you need to go to the "edit" profile section on you're profile. Then select change/edit signature and it's there that you can add photos. On Flickr, say you have a photo you want, above said photo is the action button--clicking that will bring up a list of things you can do, including "view all sizes", when you click on that, you'll be able to shrink the photo to the right size you want. You then copy the link of that photo (The link should say "static flickr..." in the html), then copying the link. To deeplink it on you're signature you'll need to click the image button on Eurobricks, and paste the link it that slot.

Why thank you! I've not made some more in a while, but the full list of them can be found here. Speaking of which I can make some more since I just got some new characters.
  14. This is a large and hard to photograph creation showing the epic Pre-title sequence of the latest James Bond film, Skyfall; where in Istanbul, 007 chases after the hitman Patrice whose stolen valuable information, leading to them landing on a moving train—with MI6 agent Eve in hot pursuit. Classic Bond...James Bond ~Nemo

Single Pane LEGO Licensed Theme Funnies

To be 100% honest, the original Batman Henchmen may be my favorite minifigure(s). They’re so simple, cute, indistinguishable, and great for collecting. Anyways, I’ve been creating a growing selection of Henchmen Funnies on my Flickr, and so here’s some of the things I’ve been up to lately… You Glasses! Step forward!
  16. Sweet! I'm not known for my ability to make things with wheels look good, so that will be helpful!
  17. This looks fun--plus I'm in love with James Bond Lego, so anything spy related is great! I've got a question though, are we limited to just like land/car vehicles? It says "they" need vehicles and such but the only example ones are land based cars and trucks--are we only allowed to makes car vehicles or can we make other things too?

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Personally I think it would suck if Stan Lee was the pre-order figure. There's just so many other cool characters that have not been made yet, and may not get made ever--unless being the pre-order of course. I hope that the figure would be Galactus, since having a minifigure version of him standing next to a Star Wars planet would look amazing.

Well most likely we'll also get a set or two based on the events in the game. The Lex Mech from the DC lines is a sign of this, since his robot was a big thing in the Batman game. Can't wait for this.

You've gotten extra sticker sheets too? I've not yet bought the new main wave of Superhero sets, but the Arkham set I just bought has an extra sticker sheet. That's kind of strange that Lego is handing out extra sheets and extra pieces.

    Purist Superhero Figures

I've posted these villains on my Flickr today. The first picture shows custom made Flash's Rouges Gallery; the Trickster, Captain Boomerang, and Mirror Master. The second is a picture of custom lower level villains, with Condiment King, Angle Man, and Killer Moth.

On my Flickr, I've made a few "Black and White" style photos, with a color highlight. These are meant for a Flickr Icon format, so they'll look good in small icons, but nonetheless, they're still cool pictures of minifigures. Here's a few: These are just a few, Two-Face, Bane, and Joker's Henchmen whose come to be known as "Coco" in my Joker creations.
  23. Pic on Flickr: It’s the end of the world tonight, some Mayans believe. Ok, maybe not (I don’t believe in that, nor do the Mayans, and my studies in Classical History isn’t changing my opinion). But—could it be possible—that in fact the Mayan calendar is actually a conspiracy made by the Mayans to drive the conquering Conquistadors from their homeland using fear?! (See I’m using History Channel logic there, so that makes it true!) I was unsure if was going to build for this small and doomed contest, and I would assume that if the prophecy was true, we’d never hear the winner (Clever on that—no need for prizes!). No, I was going to make a small round Earth ball and have a bunch of mushroom clouds with fighters and missiles flying over—but eh, tis harder than I thought. Then tonight came the idea for this beauty, and here we are. Good luck everyone (And hopefully not goodbye!) ~Nemo

Nice that this is the next set. Though it seems to me, that they just picked one of the four review models to make, and dumped the others--which sucks because it seems you need 10,000 votes and then need to be able to beat out the others who got 10,000 votes (Which itself could be troublesome depending on how many models are in one review compared to others). Too bad the Western Town didn't make it, it would work well with the Lone Ranger stuff coming out.
