  1. Its only visible on the back box view, in the chest by the fireworks. I don't know if it's meant to represent Mulan though.
  2. Listen up Disney fans! Lego has finally unveiled the long awaited 71040 The Disney Castle Check out the Licensed Forum to see more images and discuss this magical D2C set, hitting shelves September 1st.
  3. Guys please do not post links to leaked pictures here. Or the leaked pictures themselves. We are basically down to mere hours until the press release anyways; Patience is a virtue.
  4. Let's keep the discussion here about the Cinderella Castle set, not about Dr. Who wishlists or other potential Disney possibilities. Yes, very much not official, as they note in the article.
  5. Please don't bicker about the lack of inclusion of the Cinderella character. The set is clearly the based on the theme park building named Cinderella's Castle, rather than the movie/characters from which it takes its name. There's really no point in dragging out this issue. Thanks!
  6. I don't want anyone posing any suspicious photos of the set here please. We don't want to antagonize Lego...or Mickey Mouse.
  7. I don't have a problem with that. Go ahead.
  8. Guys please do not just list out your favorite minifigures here. It fills the thread with clutter. Thanks!
  9. The point of this thread is to discuss Lego Dimensions, not Dr. Who companions. Focus on the game please!
  10. Guys for the second time today...focus on the 2017 sets. Not the movies, not the TV shows, not gender/race inclusion or lack thereof. 2017 Marvel Set discussion only!
  11. Guys, please do not discuss the movies here. Focus on the Lego sets.
  12. So I guess this is the 'annual' two year X-Men set we should expect...and they managed...for a third time...to include Wolverine and Magneto. On the plus side though--classic Iron Man!

  14. Lego is just unveiling these at SDCC--they will not be sold at the event and will not show up on store shelves until January.
  15. Despite what Lego may have you believe, Superheroes with no space is the standard written format, and the standard that has been in place here for a long time. Which means I intend to keep that standard in place, now that I know it annoys people. As for pinning, no--we switched over to the Tower format simply because there are too many themes in Licensed to realistically pin all of the threads at once. Let's talk about sets please. Seriously, we actually have stuff to talk about now--stay on topic.

  18. Deciding BW 2017 Layout Concepts

  19. Guys, please do not attempt to solicit information from other members. This is a "guessing game" thread (whatever the point of that is), which means that you should not expect anything in this thread to be confirmed information anyways. I don't particularity like threads such as this as they only spread false rumors, but in the interest of keeping them contained here, I'm going to leave this thread open for now. Do remember however, nothing listed in this thread should be treated as fact. Thank you!
  20. Everyone, please focus on the sets here, not SDCC figures that we know nothing about. Thank you!
  21. Speculation? Mmmm...no. We are clearly getting closer to actual set reveals--so in light of that, please do not post "speculation" wishlists in this thread anymore. It's only going to cause great confusion. Thanks!
  22. Well they basically are. The people who build the sets are not the same people who determine prices, make the box art, take the pictures, or write the set descriptions. While as builders/collectors it may be more interesting for us to see them including info about the new techniques or the great parts being used--that's not necessarily something that will help inform parents or buyers about what's specifically included. That's how we get things like "includes a wrench!" or my personal favorite, "Also includes a cat" in regards to the 60's Batcave.
  23. Lovely pictures! The editing is spectacular!
  24. Isn't that the point of Lego Ideas? People don't want new ideas, they want old ideas in the form of "new" Lego bricks. The fact that Lego's Ideas sets are based on the same source material as those examples means they will be similar (although Lego clearly wears it better!); that doesn't mean Lego should not make sets based on them. So you would rather Lego not make Scooby-Doo, or Dr. Who, or Beatles because some other toy company already (failed) at making them first? I don't care if some company made toys first, as long as we get's Lego's good version eventually! On the Jurassic Park vehicle, it's unfortunate that it was not chosen. Although I think we should consider that perhaps it conflicted with licensing agreements of the Jurassic World sets (which we may or may not be getting more of for the sequels). It could easily the be true reason for the rejection.
  25. Mmmm...her face is less than desirable... See it here! At the LD Physical Brick Discussion Thread! Where this discussion belongs!
