  1. Hello everyone. Welcome to my LEGO Ninjago Movie screen-accurate mech recreation project. Here, I will show you all of my recreations of the mechs from the LEGO Ninjago Movie. Since it is unlikely Warner Bros., Animal Logic, or LEGO will release instructions for the models used in the movie, I decided to reconstruct all of the mechs for everyone to build. All completed models are available to download here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/GLAP23 Here's a list of everything finished: Green Ninja Mech Dragon Water Strider Lightning Jet Fire Mech Quake Mech Garmadon's Shark Walker Here's a list of everything not finished or not built yet: Ice Tank Garma Mecha Man Feel free to add on to this project. Updates will be posted on this topic. First picture of progress from October 2018:
  2. @Celtaxor Hello, Celtaxor. Thank you for the appreciation. Is it okay if I can give you a Bricklink Studio file? Studio is much more accessible. In fact, you can import LXF files into Studio. Another thing, if you plan on building the Garma Mecha man in real life, keep in mind that a lot of parts are floating or colliding and will need to be changed to be plausible as a real life build. @zweifuss Here is the download link to the tire, ripped directly from the game. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WdWeNbW24JprgZoQJzDjtjWzjPPlERQY/view?usp=sharing

@Moneytachi Here is list of what is and what isn't a set in the picture: First Batmoblie: Custom model 1966 Batmobile: Set 76052 1940s Batmobile: Custom model Batman's Tumbler: Set 7888 Schumacher Batmobile: Custom model Animated Series Batmobile: Custom model 1989 Batmobile: Custom model Batman Dragster: Set 7779 Bat Tank: Set 7787 LEGO Movie Batmobile: Custom Model LEGO 7781 Batmobile: Set 7781 Bat Tow Truck Custom Model Speedwagon (LBM Batmobile): Set 70905 (movie model is little different from set version) This is listed as to how the vehicles appeared in the film. Quick question. If you are asking what vehicles are available as sets, are you referring to the specific versions of the bat vehicles, or how the vehicles are exactly constructed in the film?

@Moneytachi I just uploaded the Scuttler to my Bricksafe page. Please note a lot of the pieces are floating or colliding. If you use Lego Digital Designer, turn on developer mode, or you can import it into other building software such as Studio 2.0. If you want me to make the version of the Scuttler with wings, I can make that, too. I will be making the list of vehicles already made as sets soon.

@Kin_Bricks25 I'm now about to get started making the pig wagon, now that I completed the Scuttler. The Octan delivery spaceship will be built after the pig wagon, since I have more references to work with for the pig wagon. @Moneytachi Which sculptures are you referring too? By the way, I'm finished building the Scuttler.
  6. @andardbricks My apologies for the long wait for a response. Too busy making other builds. I do have the game, and I can help you with the buildings you are trying to make, but I can't see the images of what you want to make.

Fun Fact: Brent Waller, who created the LEGO Ideas Seinfeld and Ghostbuster sets, had designed vehicles for the LEGO Batman Movie. https://twitter.com/BrentOnInternet/status/1107053549660205056 However, please do not ask or pester him for instructions or the LXFs. He is legally not allowed to release them as they are intellectual property of Animal Logic, Warner Bros, or LEGO, as stated in the final Twitter post.

The Tumbler in the movie is the same one from set 7888 and the 1966 Batmobile is from 76052.

@PSBunny911 That won't be necessary anymore. I have a 4K ultra HD Blu-ray copy of the LEGO Ninjago Movie, which is the highest quality. @Moneytachi The bat vehicles are going to take a long time to make, but I am still building the Scuttler. While most of the bat vehicles in the film were designed specifically for the film, some of the bat vehicles featured had previously appeared in sets, such as the Batcopters from the sets 7786 and 76011.

@PSBunny911 The Ninjago Movie Videogame only has the set version of the Ice Tank. I checked the game files and to my knowledge, the full-size, on-screen version of the Ice Tank does not have have a model in the game. It does appear in cutscenes, but they are prerendered clips from the movie.

@PSBunny911 Hard to say. The Ice Tank is the hardest out of all of the mech to make, as it's the one with the least amount of references. It may require improvising some areas of the build.

@PSBunny911 You are in luck, because someone already built it. https://bricksafe.com/pages/thefangel/thebatwing

@PSBunny911 Yeah. This is my current progress. @Kin_Bricks25 Sure, I'll be able to make the pig wagon and the octan delivery spaceship.

@Moneytachi I am actually in the process of building "The Scuttler" right now. The LEGO Movie version of the Batwing shouldn't be hard to build since I have the game.

@Kin_Bricks25 I now take screenshots in Lego Digital Designer, but I did used to use Bluerender for rendering. @Moneytachi You can find all of my Ninjago Movie reconstructions on my Bricksafe page. https://bricksafe.com/pages/GLAP23 The Ice Tank is not complete, so it is not available yet. As for your request for reconstructing all of Batman's vehicles in the LEGO Batman Movie, it would be kind of difficult, as there are not that many close ups of many of those vehicles. There are a few exceptions, such as the Scuttler, Speedwagon (movie's main Batmobile), Batwing, Ultimate Batmobile, and some others. Recently, I've extracted 3D models from the LEGO Dimensions LEGO Batman Movie DLC. This would make some things easier. I will get to making LEGO Batman Movie models eventually.

Just completed two more models, the movie version of the Super Secret Police dropship and the instructions holder truck. These two builds were made from models in the Lego Movie Videogame. Another build I'm working on is the Master Builder Submarine, which will take quite some time to complete. More recently, however, I have gained an interest in building the vehicles from Emmet's construction site. @Xon67 Is it possible for you to provide references for some of the vehicles from Emmet's construction site (more specifically the building crane, brick sorter, and large crawler crane)? Thanks. I just realized the control stand in the Construct-O-Mech looks similar to the control stand in the cab of the building crane.
  17. 5 years already? The LEGO Ninjago Movie is now five years old! Brick Legends made an attempt at building a full-size Garma Mecha Man. This is the closest thing to a real-life, full-size Garma Mecha Man for now. I also found an image of a quake mech MOC, built by DanielBrickSon. This was made right before the film's and the videogame's release back in 2017. Happy 5th Anniversary LEGO Ninjago Movie!
  18. New Ice Tank update: I built the cover and made more of the Technic wheel system for the tracks.

It seems as if this thread is not as active as it used to be. Fortunately, people are continuing it. Keep up the good work everyone. To my surprise, it has been almost 10 years since the original film was released. Anyways, I made a new Bricksafe page containing my LEGO movie and LEGO movie 2 Reconstructions. Feel free to look. https://bricksafe.com/pages/GLAP23/the-lego-movie-and-lego-movie-2-reconstructions Here are my micro managers, for example.
  20. @legoman23 I just created a new Bricksafe page hosting my LEGO Movie and LEGO Movie 2 builds. You can now download the Construct-O-Mech there. Link to Bricksafe Page I finally got a new Blu-Ray player. Ice Tank updates are coming soon.
  21. @Mei Are you using Lego Digital Designer version 4.3.12? This version is broken. If you have 4.3.12, uninstall it and try installing 4.3.11. You can download 4.3.11 here: @andardbricks I am going to release it today as a Work in Progress. Announcement: Unfortunately, I do not have a Blu-Ray player anymore, which means I can't view the movie for references. To make sure the models are accurate as possible, I use the Blu-Ray as it's high quality footage. Until I get a new Blu-Ray player, please enjoy the available models. It's going to be a while before I can start working on the mechs again. I will also release the work in progress model of the Garma Mecha Man. Keep in mind the mech is still incomplete. Also there is a lot of parts that are either floating or connected in ways they can't in real life. In order for the model to appear correctly and to not have missing pieces in LEGO Digital Designer, you need to turn on developer mode, or you can import the LXF into Studio 2.0. https://bricksafe.com/pages/GLAP23/lego-ninjago-movie-shark-army-fleet I appreciate everyone who has contributed to this topic. Thanks. GLAP23
  22. @zweifuss In chapter 6 of the game's story, there is a part where you have to help Cole out of his mech. The mech model the developers used in this level is the movie model. This is the one I ripped. Sometime in the future, I will release the mechs as Studio files.
  23. @zweifuss Yep. The last vehicle to build is the Ice Tank. After Zane's tank is finished, all the mechs will be complete. Speaking of custom parts, I extracted the full-sized Quake Mech's tire from the game and turned it into a part which can be used in Bricklink's Studio 2.0 software using PartDesigner. Sizing was hard but I think it's perfect now. @Ninjago_fan2123 I know about the hammerhead dropship. However, I'm focused on building the main mechs which appear in the film. After all the main mechs from the movie are finished, I will make the hammerhead dropship.
