  1. According to Wikipedia: 1.1 Early Space (1964–1973) 1.2 "Classic" Space (1978–1987) 1.3 Futuron (1987–1990) 1.4 Blacktron (1987–1988) 1.5 Space Police (1989) 1.6 M:Tron (1990–1991) 1.7 Blacktron Future Generation (1991–1992) 1.8 Space Police II (1992–1993) 1.9 Ice Planet 2002 (1993–1994) 1.10 Spyrius (1994–1995) 1.11 Unitron (1994–1995) 1.12 Exploriens (1996) 1.13 Roboforce (1997) 1.14 UFO (1997–1998) 1.15 Insectoids (1998–1999) 1.16 Life on Mars (2001) 1.17 Mars Mission (2007–2008) 1.18 Space Police III (2009–2010) 1.19 Alien Conquest (2011) 1.20 Galaxy Squad (2013) If my math is correct the biggest gap is in the beginning, with a 5 year break. Then there is one 2 year gap. And a few one year gaps, or overlap... Today, we are going on 5 years. Will the record be set for gaps? i.e. 5+, or will Lego go back to its one of its strengths. Has Star Wars ensured a longer gap? Note: I am a Star Wars fan. What say YOU?
  2. In-House Lego Space themes. It's power is undisputable! unmatched. I love Star Wars. Why must something I love hurt me in this way? Why? WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

"Star Wars is a reason that we don't necessarily do a second full space line line like that. And again that may change. " I KNEW IT..... GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! and I like Star Wars. Its like something I like is holding back something I like even more. GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH erhehrhehrhehrehhhhhhhhh... bleh. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
  4. Dear Space Lego, I knew you in the 70s and 80s. We met in those innocent years. You would become my passion. You know as well as I do that this passion continued until I was 17. Something happened then. And for that I am really sorry. Had I discovered girls much earlier? Yes. Did I have the abilities or qualities to land said girls earlier? No. But something changed in and around that 17th year. I became - well, sort of popular. And wham! the dark ages hit like a troop of monkeys on a cupcake. - And I forgot you. I ignored you Lego. I ignored you for 20 years. I dated. I got married. I had kids. I think in the back of my mind I always thought you'd be there, you know? I took you for granted. And now... now you are gone. I ask about you, and no one knows where you are. I ask about you... when you'll come back, and no one knows. Please come home. I'm sorry. What could I do? we're talking about girls here.... I mean, come on Space Lego, give me a break here. Space Leeeeeeeeegooooooooooo..... Spaaaaaaaaceeeeeee Legggoooooooooo....... ahhhhhhh.......

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)

My biggest "toy fear" is that Lego will not make another non-movie, video-game, App tie in line again. This is a huge fear because I want this: Ice Planet 2 Blacktron revistied Mtron revisited Insectoids 2 Galaxy wars 2 Further, Star Wars, which I love, has taken up all the "space air" out of Legos balloons. And Star Wars in not going away, at least not for the next 10 years. PLEASE LEGO, flex your in-house creative muscles. If your reading this have some mercy on a space theme fan. Please!
  10. I consider Alien Conquest a true space theme. I consider Life on Mars and Mars Mission true space themes.

    I count like, 23 of mine.... :(
  12. I never said that. Its bad for guys like me... I'd like that. A moon base and assorted vehicles would be fantastic. But again the toy trend I've noticed slowly developing over the last 10 years is that toys companies don't want to take a chance outside of licensed stuff. Its sad really... really sad.
  13. yes, but I would like multiple sets released at the same time, perhaps like the volcano city sets or whatnot.
  14. This helpful chart may explain my stance:
  15. NONE of this is a Space Theme to me. I don't mean to be rude. But none of it is. I want a DEDICATED in-house Space Theme like Space Police, Mission to Mars, or Galaxy wars. I don't mean to yell, but I feel strongly about this! :) With all do respect, it hasn't. (I mean this in the nicest way.) That's the problem "what kids want". The sci-fi spoon feeding is terrible in 2018. Lego space themes meant creative and imaginative freedom. I want Lego to recapture that freedom. SO: Lego may be self aware of their old themes, but that does not make the current state any more palatable to someone like me who wants a new space in-house theme. You see? I fear you are right.

    LEGO Nexo Knights 2018

Look I love star wars, but Lego doing an in-house theme speaks to that 12 year old in me. I can only HOPE and DREAM that one day Lego will return to an in-house Space line. Is it just me, or has licensed products destroyed the toy industry, not in terms of money making, but in terms of crippling originality, creativity and pure childlike sci-fi joy. Maybe video games did it, maybe something else... either way I am not happy. But I am a child of the 70s and 80s, the virtual TOP POINT of toys and toys production.

    LEGO Nexo Knights 2018

For me his is good news. I liked the parts, but not the theme. PLEASE LEGO - Now, now NOW NOW NOW is the time for a NEW IN-HOUSE SPACE THEME! Please. Thanks.
  18. Hello, I just opened the 7067-1: Jet-Copter Encounter set and began putting it together. I noticed 1 blue 2 x 4 brick was different than the others in that it didn't have a "Lego" copyright stamp on the bottom (see pic below) Is this normal? I also noticed the studs on top, while they did say "lego" were more rounded off than the studs of the other blue 2 x 4 bricks (with lego printed on the bottom). Is this normal? Have you seen this before - i.e. no lego printed on the bottom of a 2 x 4 brick? (all it says is "3001" and "11-236")?? What gives? No "Lego" Stamp? Any thoughts?

LEGO Brick without Lego Stamp? Help?

I know, but is it common to not see the word "Lego" on the bottom?

No, I don't think so... I posted a pic... :) The studs on top of my brick look normal, except a tiny bit more rounded.

    Help with identifying parts/sets!

Can anyone tell me which set the curved grey pieces come from? I had them in my spare parts bin, but now I am curious given the white stickers on the ends of them with interlinked diamonds? Anyone recognize the sticker and piece and from which set? Thanks!
