Well, that's what MOCing is for. You cannot say that Nui-Jaga weren't believable scorpions or that Kardas wasn't a believable dragon. And both of them looked (quite) organic and natural, despite utilizing non-organic parts and mechanisms. And even when that is not the case, you could simply explain it by saying that "he's a cyborg" or what-the-fracking-ever. Use you imagination and creativity.(And the fact that they have pistons on their claws could easily be explained story-wise).And even then - every part could be multi-functional or decorative. I can say for sure that the Glatorian heads and Brain Attack heads make for excellent hands and feet (or even tails). And Kinna is an example of utilizing a very generic part (in her case, a leg) as a body part. So, even specialized parts could be utilized in dozens of different ways (I'm wondering why I haven't yet encountered MOC's that utilize the lower body of a Toa Metru as a head of an animal). Okay, maybe. But one of the biggest problems of the Inika was that streamlined aesthetic - that's the reason why people hate the Inika build and body. Hell, they didn't even look like robots at all (an issue that I have with the latest batches of HF as well). - at least not in the classical sense. And the "patchwork quilt" thingy was something unique to G1 Bionicle and I'm quite sure that there are lots of people out there who want this to return in the new Bionicles, since this was kind of the thing since 2004 - you have to admit that the Mata arms didn't look that great on the Vakhi either.(BTW - their (the Toa Inika's) legs looked even blockier than the arms and you don't have an problem with that.) Yes, but returning to the roots is something most people expect.(Or I atleast hope so.)

Or, Umarak is a good guy (Axonn-like mysterious benevolent giant) and the creatures are Bohrok-like horde creatures awakend by the battles between the Toa and the Skull Warriors.

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?

Epic was a subsidary of Marvel, while Vertigo/Wildstorm were both subsidaries of DC. That's the reason why I thought that at least someone made a custom of John and as a result, some bootlegger who recreated it for a reasonable price.

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?

Okay, because reading 187 pages is quite tiresome - can anyone of you say if Decool or any other bootleger released Vertigo minifigures ? I would gladly sell a vital organ for a Constantine minifgure or Death.

Not immediately. Mata feet are great in Mocs and fit the aestithic quite well. Same with most parts (or maybe they just could adapt CCBS to fit them , hm ?). Agori parts - okay, maybe, but who says that they cannot make them more sturdy, as they did with the general "feet/hand/head/..."-connector part, which was changed for HF 2.0 ?

Not sure. Maybe Saturday...if nothing else comes up.

    What do you mean ?

Also, return of old pieces and molds. No Inika bodies, but something like Mata feet, Bohrok Shields and feet, Agori legs , old weapons , Vahki legs...You get the idea. It would be cool if they rerealesed some old HF parts as well - returrn of 1.0 bodies and feet.

    Nexo Knights 2016

Talking about that - just searched the old Exo-Force sets on Brickset. The smallest of the bunch (such as Cyclone Defender or River Dragon ) cost less than 9,99 - the suggested retail price for the Ultimate sets. So, if they are indeed mechs (and not AF, like they did in Chima) - then they are bigger than those sets. And that gives me hope.

Hoping for a set with these guys - double sided faces with one side "normal" and the other skeleton.

DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion

Why "of course " ? I don't think that SS will be more (less) child-friendly that BvS and we're getting sets based on that. Oh wait. You mean that we don't have any information.

    LEGO Ideas Doctor Who

Like I said. I mean, like, every DW fan who is also a Lego fan can name you at least one set a Doctor. Out of the top of their heads. I would do that right now, but I'm at work, so...

    LEGO Ideas Doctor Who

So, what is it finally ? 'Cause if it's only an Idea's set, then the people at Lego are dumbasses who are missing at least 3 complete lines of great and awesome sets.

How would a reboot of RoboRiders look?

I dunno. Lego nowadays isn't one for original and interesting concepts (of which the RoboRiders were a great example) and I don't think that the highly specialized launcher system would work in CCBS, except if they make them parts specially for these sets and then it will be too difficult to handle for smaller kids. An idea that I had was that they could bring brack Galidor or Dinosaurs and that could serve as an introduction to CCBS and Technic.

Holy f*ck, this is fracking amazing. Man, how do you get such ideas ?

    Nexo Knights 2016

Nexo Knights...When I think about it it does indeed sound like the name of a "cyber-punk" american "anime" cartoon from late 90's - early 2000's. Something about people with powers that have to battle some mega-villain who wants to (or has already) conquer(ed) their country . Something "grim-dark" and with a "treathing" baddy with laser-swords and cheap "fantasy" thrown into the mix. But knowing Lego, it would be most-likely another Ninjago, with dumb villains, a extremly basic plot and lost of bright colors. BTW, say that I'm not the only one who hopes that these "ultimate" sets will turn out to be mecha's for the main characters.

    Nexo Knights 2016

BTW, am I the only one hoping for a return of the jellybeans ? 'Cause I grew up with them and man, they were the best. No offense to later (or eralier ) Castle themes, but hell, they were at least original.

    Bionicle 2016 Sets Discussion

About the leaks - don't you people learn anything , hm ? Last year I also came with "realible" information and BAM ! everybody thought that Zhodopazik was a real bad guy (to be fair, I would have prefered him over Skull <insert generic name here>, but yeah, you get what you get. ). So, please, next time - ask pics first, then get aboard the hype train, m'kay ? Well, they also made the biggest joke ever at the expence of the Bionicle community back in 2009 (it was so convincing that even our own members fell for it).

Lego themes that we would like to happen

To be honest, I took the idea from MegaBlocks. As well as several other ideas (stretchable and color-changing minifigures). Despite them being a failure now, they were great in the past, utilizing ideas that Lego never would (or wanted to ) utilize.

Lego themes that we would like to happen

Lego Licensed I would of course want to have more sets (mostly in the Marvel collection ) that are based on movies. I mean, like, sets that are based on the X-Men movies ( tell me, who would not want to own a replica of the lab from X2 ? Or the mansion as seen in those films. Or a miniature Anna Paquin. J) And of course more functions in those sets. Maybe even figures that have some kind of special function (stretchable arms for Mr.Fantastic ? Kitty Pryde who turns invisible if you pour water on her ? ).From the DC side it would be cool to see sets based on famous events in comic books (and I mean family-friendly events, no Death in the Family or Death of The Family) and more sets based on their movies ( despite GL being an absolute failure, it would be cool to see sets based on that flic.). And maybe, just maybe, one or two sets based on Vertigo. Just to have a minifig of Constantine. More JP sets. No, seriously. I want to see a Spinosaurus with the modern dino-construction, because he was a complete mess in the original set. Or sets with the original T-Rex. Or for example bigger and better build Pterodactyls. Another point where Lego has failed-Ben 10. I was a great fan of the series in the past (but I believe that Omniverse sucks major balls in pretty much every direction.), so I wanted to have a good series with Ben 10. Just imagine the possibilities ! A stretchable WildVine. A mixel-joint Way Big ! A bigfig Fourarms. And the list goes on and on. A HP line featuring remakes of old sets, such as the Basilisks chamber, would be cool. Also, a line named : Retro Heroes, which would feature various (kids) heroes and characters from the 80's and 90's, with sets focused on the Gargoyles, the Gremlins, the Goonies, Monster Squad etc. And to finish this - a series dedicated to popular TV-series. The kids will maybe not recognize the characters, but this will one for the true fans. Because admit it -if you are over 25 and still into Lego, it is most likely that you are a geek. Lego Star Wars Okay, here I have nothing to say. It is great already. Maybe a little less remakes and more new sets. A set for the Geonosian arena would be nice. Or a set based on Padme’s ship from episode 1. Or remakes of sets that were great in the past, but now have been forgotten, such as Dagobah or Cloud City. Lego Historic. Lego Dragons. Yes, Lego Dragons. A theme that focuses on the conflict between 2 groups of warriors ( both of them Human) who ride their mighty, jointed Dragons into battle. New weapons. New molds for helmets, bodies and weapons. Completely unique Dragons, which have a solid-one piece body (with a place on which the mini-fig can sit) and jointed limbs and wings. Also, glowing eyes when a crystal is put on the Dragons fig and a function with which the Dragons can grip the character in question to tilt them and throw them. The next series could most likely feature some-kind of new villain to add to the mix, which attacks both groups at the same time, which however doesn't unite them. These villains could utilize some unique new monsters (maybe even have them have some Greek/Roman/Egyptian theme ? ). The third year would then feature a new villain, whose tactics would force the two groups to come together against the villain (with some-kind of romantic subplot forced into it ). They defeat the villain in question and something new comes on the horizon and you can imagine what came after that. Insert a few twists and turns and a unique culture and voila, you've got yourselves a pretty good series. Maybe something focused on the Wild West, with cowboys and indians, with again, a basic story and a basic conflict between the two groups. And if Lego really wants to cash on the fans, make it steampunk. Good steampunk. Maybe also an series that focuses on proper samurais and ninja’s. Lego Action. Lego Time Travelers. Imagine how far that could go ! Each year-another time period (with some kind of historical character being put into it.). Make it have some-kind of story (generic good guys chasing generic bad guys trough time) and some-kind of conflict with the characters of the time period and voilà Lego Pirates Pirates. No, simple as that. Pirates. But mean a Pirates line which has a background and (simple) story-line. Something about a cursed treasure to which a group of Pirates and a group of Corsairs are racing. But then it is revealed that the treasure is protected by ghosts of those who have put the treasure there and that by removing the treasure, they have let the ghosts escape. The maybe some other story with how the treasure got there in the first place (making Aztec sets a possibility). Add some sea-monsters, some zombies and fish-men for good measure and you are already on your way to success. Lego Sci-Fi. A Lego City-esque series that takes place in the future. Plain and simple. A futuristic house. A futuristic police force. Futuristic fire fighters. Some futuristic baddies. Maybe one-or two sets focused on Alien cultures and a few space-ships to add into the mix. No story needed here, plain and simple. Lego City Sets that involve a common household and several common jobs / places starting from somewhere in the 18th century and so on, ‘till the mid 90’s More sets based on everyday life and jobs. They don’t always have to be cops or firefighters. A set with a hospital.(Lego House M.D or Grey’s Anatomy, anyone ?) Or a set involving a common, every day, house( with multiple smaller sets to fill it up) Or a school set. Or even an apartment. Sets that involve people that operate on the wrong side of the law. So I mean criminals and similar. Maybe even a set or two that involves some-kind of mafia boss (similar to the Space Limo set from the Space Police series). So that was it for me. What do you think of my ideas ? Wondering why I didn't find this one before.
  24. I’m actually wondering why nobody has brought this up before. Sure, all of us have one or another idea about some kind of lego series he (or she ) would like to see. So, I decided to make this topic in which you can share all of your ideas for us to see. And let me begin. Lego Licensed I would of course want to have more sets (mostly in the Marvel collection ) that are based on movies.
