Vader Posted August 24, 2007 I would put money on TLC doing another RGS, it was one of their best sets and still highly sought after by alot of fans. We're getting shorted on figures most of the time anyway, and how many new ones appear? Well, let's see ... Jabba's Sail Barge - 1, Lando. Star Destroyer - 2, Tarkin and black R2. (I will not count that brick atrocity of a holo Emperor). Hoth - 0. Jedi Starfighter - 1, Kit Fisto. MTT - 0, unless you're desperate to count the dark red and dark blue droid torsos, and I'm not. Heck, even outside of SW, look at things like Cafe Corner. 3 minifigs, all rehashed parts. For a set that size? Bah! That means, thinking like Lego, we get a US$100 Tantive IV with 1 new figure and a bunch of rehashes. Oh, and stickers, have I got stickers! Yep, perfect ... well. It's what we'll be lucky to get. It hasn't shown up in stores around me yet, so I'm still working off the mental image of that first leaked pic, and it didn't have him in it. Fine. :-$ Hoth: 1. 1 lousy new fig that isn't even new, just a new colour. Better? ;-) Seriously though, I don't want troops in sets, I want new figs. I'll take my troops in battle packs. I'd much rather buy an Ep4 Tantive 4 with Captain Antilles, what's-his-name the Imperial who tells Vader that "holding her is dangerous" (heh, that kind of danger I'd take), that crazy dark green R4 that rolls down the hall as they're escorting the prisoners, and just about anybody EXCEPT fleet troopers or stormies. Otherwise, it'll be 2 and 2 of them, Vader, Leia and R2. Which is probably how it really will go. Picture the box with me ... Leia and R2 down a tiny hallway as she holds a 1x1 stickered tile. Vader and stormies coming through the main hatch, troopers at the other end of the hall. At that point, it doesn't even sound like much of a set. White is so easy to get in quantity. Forget Tantive IV. Make a rebel battle pack, 2 rebels, 2 stormies, and I'll make my own ship. Oh, and Ep2 clones. Just give me a remake of the Republic Gunship *wub* Okie, I'll try to answer your question ;-) I really dislike EP2 as a whole because of several things: * way too much crappy dialogues * Padme is just pissing me off so much !! * Geonosis is really not a planet I like !! I dislike those red/fire planets !! * It should have been Maul IMO fighting Anakin and Obie rather than Dooku !! Dooku should have stayed out of duels !! He is a great leader and should have stayed as such. * Yoda's fight was grotesque !! They really should have cut that crap out !! ON the other hand I really love EP1 !! It really fits better the OT IMO * Padme was really proactive like Leia !! * Naboo is a beautifull planet - I like those planets (like Endor) * The part where the Trade Federation droids invade Naboo and lines up for combat is just brilliant 8- Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I don't own any EP2-clones but woud really like them, preferably in an RGS, and not just 2 plus some droids...I have enough droids already |-/ :-P And *yoda* : I liked all PT-movies equally, both had some lesser scenes and dialogues indeed. So I'd like to see more Ewoks and more Leia (in terms of minifigs) and that giganto Death Star everyone keeps hinting about but no one has actually seen. And those Rebel/Imperial Battle Packs are long overdue and very much welcome.
