MOC: Public Library MOC

Recommended Posts

What can be said Teddy, this is truely fantastic! Your models look good from every angle, and your use of detail at natural edges while still maintaining areas of plain brick is as superb here as on the train station!

I'm especially fond of the garden park in the rear, and the detailing is good there as well, but for some reason, the brown corner pillars look a bit tacked on, and don't quite mesh with the rest of the building. Still, that's a small quibble with an absolutely inspiring building.

The font in which "Public library" is written is a bit blocky, but that doesn't change how amazing this MoC is, especially when it's seen with all those other MoCs.

In fact, the font and the library in general remind me of Earthbound for some reason.

Ashtonishing, I must say! It practically demands an interior!

The front facade looks like an actual building, not just a LEGO creation. The backside isn't as strong as the front, but the garden is lovely.

That's an absolutely awesome City MOC, Teddy! :oh:

I really  it!

The architecture looks absolutely realistic and detailed and you added a lot of lovely details! :oh:

The most I like the bench in the front and the big tree on the other side.

This is a real masterpiece of (Lego) art! :oh:

Very, very well done! :thumbup::thumbup:

Hi everybody,

thanks for all the very cool and supportive replies. I just returned from my holliday and am trying to catch up with all the action on the website.

How did you do that second story center window?

Which windw do you mean?

I have some higher resolution photos if you are interested?

Teddy: I absolutely love the colors and design. This is a fantastic library that deserves a BLOG.

thanks TheBrickster, you're too kind. :sweet:

Would be great if you could send me some of your detailed pictures to my mail address vaders_son@web.de :classic: I love that building and am still busy figuring out some of the techniques you used. But it's kinda hard from the small pics...

Cheers,

Benny

Amazing job! I love every bit of it!

Hello!

Wow, your library looks really beautiful. I wouldn't say no for the high res photos. Do you share them? Want to see more details of how things have been done... :)

Truly an amazing moc! I love all the detail, and the time you must have put into this, oi. My favorite parts are the custom pillars and all the little detail you thought to add onto the upper section, such as the rails on the roof, and the signs. Well done, one of my favorite modulars

Dear all,

the last weeks I've been working on and off on this MOC, since my time is sparse lately.

I'd like to thank CGH for his feedback during the build. :classic:

Kind regards,

Teddy

This house looks great.

I like the sand colour of the bricks and the house reminds me of a typical old american library. :classic:
