Jack Sassy Posted September 24, 2021 Another good modern rendition of the classic set! Like the way those Barracuda Bay islands have been shaped for this MOC. Funnily enough, I was planning on building a small dinghy for Bluecoats, something like this one. Only thing is, I accidentaly ordered that mast part in blue and as it turns out, yes, that colour might be rare for the mast, but the 8L bar that goes on the side of mast is available in blue only as a rare factory mould for 1 EURO!! (it never was released in any set in blue colour). Might finish that dighy at some point. Anyway, good job!
PirateRoberts Posted September 24, 2021 Thank you, it was fun rebuilding with modern bricks. Sabre Island was one of my first pirate sets as a kid. I made the Imperial Trading post ship larger and the raft raiders set i just changed the black bricks to brown.

jan kusters Posted September 26, 2021 Great build! Very nice retake of a classic set. The small ship works well with these islands! And with a raft and all, it is a full blown classic dream-set in modern bricks. I must admit, the 'island-possibilities' from the Barracuda bay set have kept me form building the actual set for over a year now...

Feuer Zug Posted September 28, 2021 Nice recreation of the old Sabre Island. You've captured the essence of the original, but made it better. Kudos.
