Holodoc Posted June 7, 2018 You may have noticed that we had a little Speed Champions competition at our event in Billund last week. Some of the contestants have already shared their entries here and here and I continue with my own Here it is: The original car was built from 1984 - 1991, exactly 7177 copies were produced. The motor is a 12 cylinder V-motor with 4,9l engine capacity. 396 hourses would have the same power. Acceleration: 5,3 sec. from 0-100 km/h, maximum speed is 290 km/h My entry was chosen because this car is one of the most iconic cars from my youth, exactly from the time when boys start to dream and drool about fast cars. People of my age would recognize the car from the series "Miami Vice" as well, where Don Johnson didn't drive a Ferrari red , but white one. I decided to build a model close to the Speed Champions restrictions, a car that could also have been part of the real series of LEGO sets. Thank you for your votes in the contest, now you can take it to pieces.

LM71Blackbird Posted June 8, 2018 Awesome looking model! It looks spot on!
Skalldyr Posted June 8, 2018 This one was absolutely the most Speed Champions like! I really liked the subtle details like the black bracket behind the red side grill to give it more depth.
WhiteFang Posted June 8, 2018 Just like the original Speed Champion official set? Where can I get it? The scale and built is definitely fitting like an official Speed Champion set (minus the hideous stickers).
