Hmm. I'm gonna trust you, mister Germ. If you are right, I'll buy you a mead, if not, you buy me a mead, deal?

Find, I already have a mead. So, no big deal if I am wrong.

The sound of hurrying footsteps was the only warning before a small figure charged through the entrance and slid across the floor, coming to a stop just before he cannoned into anybody.

"I'm so sorry I'm late," it said, bowing as he did, "the summons came before I was expecting it. So, what did I miss?"

And, their is the dwarf. Like the others said not much. Oh, we are going to set up a fueling station along the way. I guess we are going to help with that project.

"Not much, but almost everything," Hoke says to the tardy dwarf as he turns to Lady Umbra ,"Madame, at your leave, let's be off. We can discuss further details aboard the airship."

You heard the man. Lets move out.

"Off we go then, we're docked right outside the city."

Before long, the heroes, Umbra, Dr. Gioconda and crew are aloft and floating high over Uland.

heroicaquest15-monalisa.jpg
"Bit of wonky weather we've been having lately, the winds of change rolling through Eubric seem to have brought with them some interesting air currents as well."

The doctor rolls out a map of Uland, strange symbols cover the island.

heroicaquest15-monalisa.jpg
"This is our first time up since the most recent shift in air currents. We're currently here, " The doctor points to the red square, "And we need to get here," points to the bulls-eye, "If we want to hit the Roc stream to carry us across the Crystalline Sea. As you can imagine these air currents will carry us as far as we want until we direct our sails to catch another current. What do you think is the quickest way to pull this off?"

QM Note: 24hrs to solve the puzzle if you want XP. Please Send me the answer in PM. Let me know if anything is unclear.

Do you have to move into the square or the direction the wind symbol is pointing to?

heroicaquest15-monalisa.jpg
"The air currents are such that we can travel to any of the squares in the direction of the current space we're in. So theoretically, we could travel the current current we're on all the way to the one over Bric Bay."

"Hmmm," Hoke thinks to himself, considering the possible routes and winds,"What about this?"

Hoke traces a route out on the map (answer submitted).

Torald rests his head in his hands and sighs deeply. I can't do puzzles. I don't know the route. Why am I so dumb... He sighs again and looks out the window, hoping his party can figure it out.

OoC: posting on mobile, so no colour. Also, I really don't know the answer, it's not only staying in character...

Ezeran lays a calming hand on his friends shoulder. "It's okay. We can't all be dusty scholars". Ezeran also points out the route.

As he draw up spare map. Germ traced a couple of lines on the extra map. Is this what you guys came up with? As he showed the extra map with a couple of eraser marks on.

As the crew considers the routes, Hoke removes the Masterpiece Armor and Coat Hanger and equips the Medal of Glory and Warrior Treads.

Before he stows his gear he looks up at his quest mates and asks,"See anything in my gear you would like to borrow? If there is a ether wielder amongst us, I have some very interesting gems to use."

Hoke, Germ, Ezeran, and Throlar all layout the same course of action upon the map and the good doctor soon has the Destiny's Bounty crossing the Crystalline Sea at full speed. The heroes feel more experienced at their cartography skill and soon find comfortable seats upon the schooner.

Take them by surprise! They are monsters, I don't think being diplomatic is going to work.

Ezeran rubs his chin pondering the tactical consideration. "I don't know the nature of the sirens that well and that makes it a tough decision. What do you say dear people?" The symbiont growls in agreement with Torald.

"Careful madame, we could all be considered monsters if we all took a closer look," Hoke said as he thought about cutting down a monster once as she cried out for help.  He would never forget that,"Do they have a history of violence? If not, I prefer we use Diplomatic means, at least at first."

Here you might need this if they are some sort of zombies. Holding out the Unicorn's Horn for Ezeran.

While I am loaning stuff out. Mr. Throlar, you know how to use this? Takes out the Dwarves Portable Catapult to show/loan him.

Hoke reaches over and grabs the brightly transparent yellow gem with dark yellow glittering veins (Ethereal Topaz (Lightning+Stunned)).

"Let's see if I can still do this.  A bit out of practice, but..." he says as he closes his eyes.

He concentrates on the gem and the ethereal web that surrounds everything.  He furrows his brow deeper, trying, with difficulty, to tap into that web.  He clenched his fist harder around the gem and reached out his finger to touch Ezeran's hand.

Zipt!

The tiniest of bolts zipped from his finger to Ezeran's hand.

"Try to move your hand."

"Amazing! Truly amazing!"
