Hello my name is Chris Feliciano and I wanted to introduce a forum for the purpose of people showing off their Lego aircraft, whether it flys or not and that this forum can be used as a foundation for research on making flying Lego helicopters and airplanes/gliders :) I hope this will be a fun topic and I would like to see your guys creations :)

At least you could post something that is already working... At least Ideas, pictures, videos... Or search Internet for this theme and make summary of existing Lego flying or non flying aircraft projects and post it here for others and do not await from others to bring their ideas to you... You have to make the first step... and to open empty topic is not the right way...

So go... search internet... make summary of existing things and post it here... That's the way you should begin...

Max...

Here is a working Lego glider that I found and I consider it the first official flying Lego product that flies as a plane/glider.

Sorry about the way I opened this topic, I've been taking a lot of heat from my other forum (people are even calling me names) so I was worried about trying to get them off my back, so I have officially posted the first video of a working flying Lego glider

I dont get it...

People are complaining on this forum that there are bunch of useless topics, and you open another one about Lego flying, even though you have your own Airbus topic, and bunch of other, proper topic about flying.

There is no need for this foundation topic, as we have a lot of topics covering that. All you had to do is make a little bit of search..

*sighs* I know there are other topics too, I just wanted to have my own forum to help spread the interest in Lego Aviation

I also wanted to have this forum separate from my Airbus one as an attempt to reduce the amount of mean messages I'm getting from people

Chris, why do you feel it is necessary to spread interest in Lego aviation?

Do you not think it'd be better to pull together the $10 needed to build the above glider and have a go, rather than trying to build some sort of 'foundation'? I personally pay much more attention to those who put their thoughts into actions, rather than listen to those talking about theories and getting others to do the work for them.

That wasn't my intention, I just wanted to see if I could get a group of people toghether who want to build these things for fun, of course I'm gonna pull the $10 needed for the glider, it's just that I need a chance to go to the store, and it's hard to find Legos in Puerto Rico so I'm most likely gonna have to wait for Lego to ship the parts to me here, which will take a little while, so please bear with me and be patient, I will have a product for you guys with instructions

Hey guys btw when I put down a Lego foundation for aviation as the topic, I had to have a title so that's what I could come up with, and also to reassure you guys it's not "the" Lego foundation for aviation, it's "a" Lego foundation for aviation, I don't own anything

I agree with this. Per recent guidelines, this thread is doomed to be locked.

I just posted on the OP's Airbus Project thread. I won't paste it here.... but it might be worth a read. In addition to my post, and this is purely just a theory, but Chrisf98 - "98" might be the OP's birth date (I am open to being completely wrong). This is just a theory.... but if correct we are dealing with just a young, inexperienced individual. As forum members we should have just a little patience......and subtly steer him in a different direction.
