Trucks and Rhinoceros ... what gives?

I've noticed two trucks (maybe more) depicting decals/stickers with a rhinoceros. These are the 8285 Tow Truck and the 8041 Race Truck.

Not sure where that comes from ... anyone knows? ... same artist?

Rhino‘s are tough and have a huge "get out of my way" level, that's why.

I do not know how the rhino on 8041 looks but the one on 8285 is just awesome ! Goes with the theme of the truck perfectly !

Maybe the same reason Mammoet has an elephant logo on their trucks, giant cranes, SPMT and ships.

I think its an American truck thing. 8285 is an American tow truck and these trucks tend to be customised by their owners and blinged out.

I generally dont like stickers at all....in fact, i never apply stickers to any of the models i have....manly so as i can re-use parts if i decide to take models apart to build something else.

Maybe it's an homage to that, to evoke the look without violating trademark?

I am +1 that it's inspired by Mammoet. The colours and the style are near-identical.
