My bet would be that as an accessory since it already exists, and who doesn’t love a lute? Didn't he eat some medieval pork snacks in the opening of Shrek 2? Maybe that would be a more in-character accessory Quote

He's not really a popular or major character and he's from the worst movie of the series. The ugly stepsister, the king, or the queen would have made more sense. Maybe he was that popular back then? It has been a really long time since I saw any of the films, so I can´t really say. On 1/29/2026 at 10:05 AM, CloneCommando99 said: Dragon should be her own set Gingy should not be in the CMF. He should have been the figure in the buildables. Not Puss. He is one of the main characters, so it makes a lot sense to include him. But yeah, wouldn´t mind if they would have made a big buildable dragon, but I guess since the other sets will be for the new Film it will likely be something else and if the dragon will be included it will be rather small. If they make the hat he is wearing so he is carring it leaning a bit backwards they could make it as an second print. On 1/29/2026 at 2:30 PM, BrickBob Studpants said: Correct! He said they were either postponed or cancelled, but he thinks it’s the former, which makes a lot more sense So 72421 and 72422 are mostly likely based on the 5th movie. In the video, he also said that Shrek and Fiona will have specialised head pieces rather than the standard minifig head, which I think is for the best! If not they would have had to make new "hair pieces" for them and especially the one for shreak would just look ugly going over the standart head - so would have been really surprised if they went that way, especially since they would need two moulds anyways 21 hours ago, Renny The Spaceman said: See, I think Donkey will cone with Shrek or Puss along with whatever small handheld accessory they have, dunno why, off vibes I guess, I think Dragon won't have an accessory I am still hoping for one of the Dronkeys as one of the dragons accessories Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 As with every series in the last coupla years beside Disney S3, I can’t help but wonder what it would look like had the reduction to 12 figures per series not occurred I’m very happy with the choices here, but having 4 more would’ve added so much! Aramar Posted February 1 Posted February 1 I imagine Pinocchio will have a nose like Disney's Pinocchio. I'm curious to see how all these figs look. Quote

I'm curious to see how all these figs look. I wouldn't be surprised if they reused the exact same piece Come to think of it, the series will touch upon quite a few familiar CMF archetypes and tropes, but for a fairy tale parody that's to be expected On top of Pinocchio, we'll have a fairy, a knight (sort of), a dragon, a wizard, a villain coming from nobility in possession of a magic mirror, a swashbuckler, a wolf man (sort of), a princess, a gingerbread man, and a character representing a fairy tale species usually portrayed as evil. ...wait, that is every character except for the executioner Edited February 1 by BrickBob Studpants Quote
spiderfan2000 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I just remembered that there's an easy reference to the third movie that could potentially be made by giving Pinocchio a baby carrier piece. Quote

I seem to remember Merlin being semi important with donkey and puss mix up, could be wrong?? The same could be said also for the executioner. Didn’t think he was all the popular But yea plenty of other side characters they could’ve picked Quote

And yes, he’s also responsible for that body swap The executioner is not super important, but he is pretty iconic to the first movie I’d say ^^ (Or maybe I’m biased because the first one is my favourite) Personally, I’m very happy with the choices they’ve made. It may not be perfect (like Gingy should have been included in the buildable Shrek & Donkey set, freeing his CMF spot for someone else), but it’s still a very good selection in my eyes Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted March 25 Author Posted March 25 The first parts leaked, new Puss‘ head and torso, plus a 2x3 tile depicting the „beware ogre“ sign ^^ Puss could be from the set or the CMF series, but the tile has to be Shrek‘s CMF accessory! Quote
Clone OPatra Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Uh oh, I'm afraid I'm going to have to purchase every single one of this series.... Quote
OttoRiver Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Welp. I'll beg my wallet for forgiveness later. These look fantastic Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted April 16 Author Posted April 16 (edited) The Shrek set has leaked! Both Shrek and Donkey look much better than Gru for instance! Love the onion references The full Puss in Boots minifig looks great too, but the scaling is clearly off. Should’ve been Gingy instead, as others have said before! Edited April 16 by BrickBob Studpants Quote
Portal Out Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Didn't the original CMF list include Puss? I wonder if there was some confusion there because it'd be really weird if he was in both the CMF and this set. 21 hours ago, BrickBob Studpants said: The full Puss in Boots minifig looks great too, but the scaling is clearly off. Correct, he’s also part of the CMF series ^^ The CMF one could be a variant, but it wouldn’t be the first time a CMF minifig wasn’t exclusive 25 minutes ago, Portal Out said: Chopper's body would've been so perfect. That wouldn’t work since he’s in the CMF series and thus has to be a minifig, and having both a regular minifig and a …toddlerfig (?) would be weird since they’d share the same head piece Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted April 23 Author Posted April 23 Looks like the leaked sign is actually from the Brickheadz set! Or maybe it comes with the CMF minifig too, which would mean three versions of it in three sets Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted June 1 Author Posted June 1 Two Shrek sets leaked! One is a buildable Gingy, the other a swamp playset based on Shrek 5! Love the minifigs, but I doubt the Hagrid-like Shrek we‘re seeing here is the one from the CMF series. The house itself looks neat as well! Too bad we most likely have to wait until April or May for that Quote

I think Shrek would’ve looked better with just a moulded head rather than being like Hagrid…. I think Gingy looks way out of scale too all in all I think the actual set looks great Quote
MKJoshA Posted June 1 Posted June 1 There's no way those figures are final, right? The color matching is terrible and Shrek's head looks like someone molded clay onto a minecraft head. Quote
JeanGreyForever Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Shrek and Fiona look awful. Their heads look so warped and deformed. Really hope Lego has polished up on these designs because I would never want minifigures that look like that. Quote

Well it is a prelim leak, so in the end neither the figures, nor the build have to be final - and likely aren´t. Especially the figures including donkey look very clearly like they are not final models to me, especially fiona and the kids head don´t even look like ABS to me - Shreks head more, but I hope it isn´t the final one either, as that one looks just aweful. The overall set looks good and could actually already be the final version. Quote
hikouki Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Given it is a 'prelim leak', I initially thought this was a rendering also considering how awful those figs look! Quote
Lion King Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Folks, no need to hit “panic” button yet, I’m pretty sure eit’s jsut a prelim leak. We haven’t seen the offical reveals. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted June 9 Author Posted June 9 We finally have a list of accessories for the CMF series: Shrek: fairy tale book Fiona: Fairy Godmother card Puss in Boots: microphone Dragon: smoke blast pieces & Donkey Big Bad Wolf: sack Executioner: “Awww” sign Pinocchio: at least one of the blind mice Gingy: lollipop Farquaad: magic mirror Merlin: fire of truth Fairy Godmother: wand Charming: sword Sounds like a good selection of accessories! Wonder what the fire of truth will look like Quote
Takanuinuva Posted Tuesday at 09:38 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:38 PM Weird Puss has a microphone and not his iconic fencing sword Quote
