I think the designs have somewhat grown on me. They’re definitely not perfect, but I think the figures will look good in hand. I saw some people online mentioning missing characters or outfits. This got me thinking that a Far Far Away D2C could really fill up some missing spots: human Fiona, King Harold, Queen Lillian, Fairy Godmother in red dress, Doris, Hook, …

I'm not the biggest fan of the Shrek and Fiona figures. Hopefully (and most likely) these aren't final...

I believe the faceprint on the green orc is new (and exclusive).

Marvel Superheroes 2026 - Rumors & Discussion
Legopls replied to Kaijumeister's topic in LEGO Licensed
Has anyone noticed the weird looking Stark tower in the background on the Advent Calendar? I don't recall the Stark tower ever looking like that, so my guess is this ties in to Doomsday and is our rumoured building set. -
A big Far Far Away D2C (or even playset) would be a dream come true. But I doubt it will happen.

As a Dutch speaker, I understand a little bit of German, and from Maxbautde’s video I think I was able to understand that two sets have been postponed because they are based on Shrek 5. Not sure if my German is good enough though!

I don’t think we should be looking for a deliberate strategy behind it, but it is true that they alternated between releasing a new set and a ‘remake’: Rivendell (remake), Barad-dûr (new), The Shire (remake), and now Minas Tirith. If that pattern is maintained (and if anything is planned for 2027 at all), then it would once again be a ‘remake.’

Waited in line at the Lego Store this morning here in Belgium. In addition to the GWP, I also received a poster which has the three sets released thus far on it (Rivendell, Barad Dur and Shire). I don’t know if I’m reading to much into this or if this is another sign that the Lego Icons LotR line will come to an end with this third release. What do you guys make of this, if anything?

I completely agree that the dwarves from The Hobbit would make fantastic additions to the minifigure lineup. However, what excites me even more is the potential for a minifigure of the grumpy hobbit that gives dirty looks at Gandalf.

We’re pretty much guaranteed a Sail Barge reveal any day now, right? Right? -
Yikes! Knowing how tall the Orthanc set is, that’s going to be huge! I don’t know if it will be much taller tho. I suspect the base will be a bit wider so some of the additional budget would probably go to that.
-
That's true. It would look a bit weird if he was as tall as a regular minifigure. In my opinion the long legs would look a bit weird (although that's probably because my imagination doesn't stretch that far), but with an extended torso it could work. I'm sure whatever they come up with will look great!
-
I think the Avatar legs would look pretty silly on a figure like Sauron. In my opinion it only works on characters that are supposed to be lanky, like Woody from Toy Story. Another character that I would love to see but haven’t seen brought up yet, is the Witch King! Sure other sets would be a better fit (especially Minas Tirith), but it would work!
-
I read that there would be multiple figures included in the Barad Dur set! I’m personally hoping for Frodo and Sam in their Mordor outfits (perhaps their orc disguises), Gollum and some unique orcs!

Have you guys noticed this figure in a new Lego campaign? He seems to have a piece that could be quite handy for a certain species…
