Ok, thanks i will remove this and probably report the person on bricklink who made up this junk:). Quote

A Batman Helicoper? Set 30740? Wouldn’t that make it a third polybag? Is that even possible? I wish these rumors were true, though — there are just way too many cars already. That said, this all seems pretty unlikely. Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Also, 42233 is confirmed to be that damn blind box series. I wouldn't be opposed to getting a Batman helicopter in place of that, but I do not see it happening. Quote

Auroralampinen Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 Ok, we had already ninjago, marvel and shrek summer wave reveal. When we will should expect to see technic summer wave reveal. Is it again the same time as 2023 first or second of may:). (Yes, i know there are embargos so peoples/influencers who knows the reveal date and have allready got the summer technic sets wont say it yet) Quote
Stereo Posted April 19 Posted April 19 (edited) Those curve bricks for the headlights don't look terrible, but I don't think I would have chosen white. They're obviously glass over chrome on the actual car, so if not transparent, maybe LBG would look better? 90 degree corner panel on the Dodge front end is cool. Makes the "toilet paper roll" family of panels even more versatile. Edited April 19 by Stereo Quote

Moulds are created optimised for a given material. Often the choice is between a material that allows for more colours but not transparent ones, or one that allows transparency but less overall colours. Possibly the mould used for the headlights is of the former category, and hopefully the headlights are at least glow-in-the-dark instead of plain white. 1 hour ago, Stereo said: 90 degree corner panel on the Dodge front end is cool. Could that be dual-moulded? I don't believe TLG has us apply stickers on such a complex shape, and reflections can't explain such large difference in apparent brightness in the surfaces of the part. Printed metallic silver on the corner panels. The flat ones have stickers of course. Gotta maximize profits somehow. Quote
Jockos Posted April 19 Posted April 19 (edited) I don't know who remembers, but that Eclipse gave me 'confidental pic' vibe from the late 2000's - early 2010's :D Also, the Dodge seems to have lost its sleekness which the former model had. Edited April 19 by Jockos Quote
SNIPE Posted April 22 Posted April 22 (edited) Hardly 42009 era is it. Hardly 42043 , 42055, 42042, 8118, 42066, 8258, 42110, 42100, 42082, 42045, 42070 level sets (which actually exited me) Not one set am I excited for, for 2h 2026 except maybe the Konigsegg. I’m glad the unimog has AWD with suspension and steering but the boom and outriggers are as basic as it gets, there's no motorisation (and definitely not RC). I hate pneumatics, I don't even know if the cargo bed is a tipper or not. We're going backwards in complexity How many sets had or could officially have power functions? It was LOADS. And they were full of functions Now it's oh here's a new tire and panel and here's a car that uses them. We have shorter CV joints and shorter steering links and shorter suspension arms but we.still don't get 4WD much. We have more gear types but nothing like say 42043’s gearbox complexity. The only exception is 42128. We have dune ornithopter blades and no new technic helicopter despite how good the airbus was. 42043 was ok I guess. The P1 was ok but we need ride height adjustment, maybe working disc brakes, maybe AWD again, maybe a mechanical convertible roof , even optional motorisation. The Sian and Bugatti were more technical, it's just that the Ferrari and P1 were more refined and had a bigger parts count Edited April 22 by SNIPE Quote

More compact pneumatics sets please !! Edited April 22 by Bartybum Quote

R0Sch Posted April 22 Posted April 22 And look, no JCB license required for play. Who would have thought that's possible? ;) Quote

Anyway, I like pneumatics but other than that I pretty much agree. Technic of today seems to be Speed Champions but with larger scale, uglier designs and steering, but that's it. The Unimog is sort of interesting but I don't like the colour scheme so I probably won't buy it. And beside that there's nothing remotely interesting. Quote
