2026 Technic Sets Discussion

Thanks to my parents, I was able to get a 10% discount on all Technic models even on release day, so almost all of the Technic models I bought were either on release day or a week or two later.
But this year is different. The only Technic I bought on release day was the Artemis. A few weeks later, I've only added the John Deere and the Gravedigger, which I bought for blue wheels. Aside from the Lexi, which I plan to buy next month for its color, I don't like any of the Technics from the first half of 2026. Two of the four I bought were for the color, and even the remaining John Deere is so disappointing that I'd say about 50% of reason of buy them are because of the color. The only Technic I really liked from the first half of 2026 was the Artemis. The other Technics I liked the most were the City Mixer Truck, Tractor and Speed Champion DeLorean,  McQueen.

The Ford GT was the most disappointing, so I'm only going to get the rear tires from Bricklink, and as for the Bugatti and Sparkle Smash, I'll either wait for a 30% discount or skip them altogether.

@Auroralampinen can we fix the first post to have the sets in the right sequence? In this way it's more simple to check if there are any "empty" codes.

Each machine is very small. Smaller than magazine set. Like 30 pieces each? Wondering about the price. Magazine is 6 euros, 80-90 pieces per set.

Maybe the small machines are there due to the complaints from the technic designers to management:

Designers: "Please no more cars! Let us design some construction machines again!"

Managment: "Ok you can design 8 of any kind. Just get em below 50 pieces for each one...."

Designers: "Wait, what...?"

If these vacant numbers really have sets to fill, then we still have a total of five unknown sets to meet some construction machinery, which is the only opportunity this year

I thought it was about parts that exist already but are hard to obtain for some reason, naturally any truly new part would attract a lot of attention, but at the same time it's definitely not going to happen.

8 small sets in the same colour is interesting, would have thought they would make them look a bit more different.  I guess it's good for people designing 8x combination MOCs.

 

To me it looks like dump truck, cement mixer truck, bulldozer, wrecking ball crane, excavator, front loader, truck crane.  I can't see the 8th one, maybe another truck like the dump truck.

If they made them in purple and lime green, they could say it's another collab with Hasbro, call them Constructicons, and post somewhere instructions on how to use the combined parts to build a tiny Devastator.

Same colour makes it easier for kids to buy a couple and make their own build from the pieces. It may also simplify production.

Another note on these: I have heard in the past about different such collections that it was possible to buy an entire box (in this case of 16 sets) which is guaranteed to contain 2 of each.

I thought to the Panel Fairing #7 and #8 or other small parts and connectors that are rare in yellow.
