This is me with Clones at the moment. I'd love a world where, e.g., Bly and the Galactic Marines are good figures, but they aren't (no cloth kamas, inaccurate prints, dodgy prints, etc.) and I wish that they'd just not made them at all because now the clock is reset for when they'll next make them (and hopefully next time they'll actually be good), similar to the worries that the Fart Brick™️ might ruin the upcoming TIE Advanced.

I suppose it would the only thing lego might release, but I think there's a lot of backing for a fondor haulcraft (though I think they're kinda ugly), and a midi-scale Cantwell-class would be sublime (brickvault has a rather nice one if I recall correctly).

I'd be all over those star-corps guys if the battlepack wasn't 1. 45 fuckin dollars 2. they had waistcapes. I can ignore some of the inaccuracies, but christ... How did these designers (who's entire job is to design this stuff) make some many obvious errors? Really the bigger issue is how they've blended the TCW and movie armor styles.

 The "Fart Brick™️" is just an amazing thing to see after hidden side, videyo, and even new-mindstorms have now failed. You've just got to wonder from so many descisions lego makes.. how many times will it take them to learn this lesson.

The waistcapes aren't an inaccuracy, they're lego cheaping out. They do the same thing with snowtroopers and pretty much anyone else who's supposed to have a waistcape.

Mario seems to have worked, which unfortunately probably gave whatever research or execs they have pushing this stuff too much credibility. I maintain mario only works because it's mario- if they produced normal lego mario sets I think they'd sell even better- I know I'd have bought one or two small ones to get the principle cast and a mario kart. But since there's nothing to gauge it against and the sets do well, they think they finally succeeded with a tech line and are now trying to integrate it into everything else. :/

Look, we NEED a Lego Tie Avenger, the best Tie Avenger, believe me. Everybody's saying it, all over Eurobricks, the best people, they all want it. And Andor? Great show, frankly, but it needs MORE sets. The most sets, really. It's true!

Thats not the inaccuracies I meant. Parts of the armor for specific characters are explicitly the wrong color and the ammo pack on the chest has only 3/4 of the packs. Those aren't major things; just wierd that they got them wrong.

Couldn't they compare it to sonic? I wonder about the relative popularity of sonic and its success.

Ah. Yeah, those are strange, although the 327th tends to get hit with weird colors across the board. I remember the same happened in battlefront 2.

Well I said the Wolfpack part as a joke but I think it's a cool ship. The main appeal for me personally is more Andor content though and I'm not convinced the series is popular enough to get a price point big enough for the Fondor. Granted I'm not particularly convinced Andor is popular enough to get anything else period, but if it happens then I think the Avenger would be a good pick for another set (also idk how often you visit the forum but it's a running joke on here atp so I was leaning into that).
